Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Chapter 610: Phase One Complete, Returning to the City

”Your idea is very interesting. I saw traces of spellbooks and... the Spellbook Shelf on it.”

After sending that person away, Big Sis Agnes spoke up from the side.

”I have the Spellbook Shelf Spellbook to begin with.”

”No wonder.”

Agnes suddenly realized.

After all, this kind of spellbook is not common in the Witch Academy.

Moreover, she didn’t think there was anything wrong with the kind of power being researched now, a downward-compatible Transcendent framework and power system.

For some witches, researching something doesn’t depend on how much the final product improves themselves, but on whether they gain anything from it.

Even the finished product of this game qualification I created basically has no substantial power improvement for me.

But speaking of the benefits brought, there are two most obvious ones.

First, it concerns the continuation and dissemination of my Power of Knowledge, that is, my Mental Realm Order, artificially.

Relying on the power of a huge base number helps me complete the completion of the basic aspects.

Second, it is a ”rehearsal” for completing the derivation of the Spellbook Shelf, testing the compatibility between the Power of Knowledge and the Spellbook Shelf Spellbook framework, as well as an attempt on how to incorporate it into the Great Tree of Knowledge system.

With the completion of the ”Class Change Ritual” and the construction of the ”Skill Tree,” the game player plan has basically completed the first phase.

Which is the level of ”basically playable”.

Next, just need to incorporate the Class Change Ritual into the Myriad Connection Main Network Tree system.

As for the subsequent addition and perfection of the ”Class System,” it is actually deriving more characteristic fighting styles according to different focuses.

And afterwards, before the Myriad Connection Main Network Tree encounters any important technical breakthrough, what needs to be done is just ”addition operations”.

What is addition operation?

It is proceeding step by step, without a threshold, giving time to complete capability presets according to existing techniques, also called micro-innovation.

Just like the Class System.

With Swordsman and Mage, there will be similar ones later like Berserker, Magic Swordsman, Archer, Healer, etc.

For example, the Skill Tree.

Now the Lesser Fireball Spell is unlocked.

Then according to this technique, skills like Lesser Ice Arrow Spell, Lesser Entanglement Spell, Lesser Blindness Spell, etc., can be endowed.

Even relying on the equipment characteristics of class change, an ”Equipment System” can be built.

And what does this represent?

This represents that even without me here, the small witch team led and united by Big Sis Agnes can take over and continue to perfect it!

Yes, the Big Sis Witches who came here are naturally not only Agnes, but also several other Big Sisters who also love games.

Currently, they are still obsessed with the design of health bars and mana bars.

Of course, there are still issues like weapon durability, spell casting bars, damage display, and numerical rationality, etc.

After all, reality problems are hard to represent by a very simple data.

They need to use a calculation method connecting data and reality to correspond to the changes in these values.

”Your Annotation Technique is really convenient. Should say it really matches your Power of Knowledge. Have you thought about promoting it?”

Agnes asked.

”Promote? Shouldn’t be much need, right?”

”This characteristic similar to temporary enchantment is actually also a very popular technique. And this Annotation Technique using your Power of Knowledge as a medium is the best performing one among similar techniques I have encountered so far. Perhaps you can try promoting it. It helps to use others’ ideas to help you perfect this technique. I can tell your technique hasn’t been completely perfected yet, right?”

”Yes, Big Sis Agnes could tell even this?”

I said somewhat surprised.

”Of course. No matter what, I have the vision of a Transcendent Witch. Many techniques can only promote higher improvement through mutual exchange. No need to hide it. Of course, this also depends on your own trade-offs. However, if a very useful technique is made public, those witches who can see its true value will not let down the sharing and exchange between you and them.”

”Is that so?”

Hearing Big Sis Agnes say this, I was indeed somewhat moved.

Currently, the Annotation Technique of my Power of Knowledge is actually a framework learned from Big Sis Natalie, and then became the current Annotation Technique based on my own understanding.

I naturally hope to perfect this technique faster.

”Then if I have a chance, I’ll organize the materials of this technique and share it in the Great Tree of Knowledge.”

”I’m just suggesting, no need to be so hasty.”

Hearing me make a decision so decisively, Agnes also said hurriedly.

”I’m not hasty. This is my decision after careful consideration.”

”Alright, looks like Little Han, you are really naively cute in some aspects...”

”What?”

”Nothing. Little Han, the Myriad Connection Main Network Tree has completed the first phase. So what are your plans next? The perfection of the first phase also takes time. The time during this period...”

”I plan to go plant trees all over the Expansion Realm.”

I said.

I naturally understand what Agnes means.

The difficulties of the first phase have been conquered, and they can solve the remaining content.

So they asked if I started theoretical research on the topic of the second phase.

”Oh... the game starts open beta in the whole Expansion Realm?”

Agnes asked with a smile using a very vivid metaphor.

”More or less. Plant the trees first. The difficulties to be faced in the second phase will also appear, which is the interconnection and synchronization update problem between Myriad Connection Main Network Trees, hmm... let me think... and the problem of players crossing regions, which is the docking and matching problem between game qualifications and Myriad Connection Main Network Trees.”

I explained.

”Hearing you say this, looks like we will be busy later.”

”So say don’t rush with this kind of thing.”

I said with a smile, ”Even if I say I’m going to plant trees all over the Expansion Realm, it’s not that urgent. I’m also thinking of going to stroll around Ninglan New City to see how Ninglan New City is now.”

However, even if I don’t go, I can understand what the situation is now through the Seed of Great Knowledge.

For example, the dream overlap dilemma Ninglan New City is encountering now, the intrusion of Dream Creatures, Mentor Elena teaching the Nightmare Spell, etc., I know all about them.

But for some things, it’s best to go see them in person.

The cold text descriptions and data displays in the Great Tree of Knowledge are never as wonderful as witnessing with one’s own eyes.

Of course, there is another point... I didn’t expect that Dongli Yiren and Yu Yetian also came to Ninglan New City.

And at the same time, on the other side of the Calamity Shelter.

”Back, Wan Zhuang is back!”

As someone shouted out, everyone’s eyes looked at the figure gradually walking over.

Seeing the other party return intact, they even faintly felt that Wan Zhuang himself was even more excited than them.

”Brother! How is it? How was the harvest of this trip? Should be fine, right?”

Several men couldn’t wait to go up and ask directly.

”Definitely fine! Look at him smiling like that, the corners of his mouth can’t be held back!”

”Exactly Hurry up and say, how was it exactly?”

And at this moment, Wan Zhuang could no longer suppress his smile.

”Huge harvest! I have already mastered extraordinary power!”

As Wan Zhuang completely announced his situation, it still made people sigh endlessly in the end.

”Really! Already mastered extraordinary power? So fast?”

”Quick! Show me quickly!”

”Wait... I’ll just demonstrate, right... go, find a more open place!”

Wan Zhuang recalled what was said at that time.

Extraordinary power is not capital for him to show off.

Basic rationality still kept him from being blinded by the surrounding flattery.

But to respond to the expectations of these companions, he still chose to try.

After all, the power he mastered also needs testing, doesn’t it?

”Go go go! I know where it’s convenient.”

.***

Ninglan New City.

Outside the city.

As more and more Reserve Witches arrived in Ninglan New City, alchemy items related to Transcendent mining area exploitation became more and more perfect.

And with the increase in the number of these alchemy instruments, many witches set their sights on those refugees outside the city.

After all, there are not many City Guards and City Defense Army soldiers in Ninglan New City.

They still need to maintain order and resist occasional raids by mutated beasts, so they are not the first choice to be miners.

And those refugees who have solved food and lodging problems have hands and feet.

Such high-quality labor naturally makes them envious.

So as their days gradually became better, the relief food distributed by Ninglan New City also gradually went downhill.

Until they finished a portion of food for one person and still didn’t feel full, they seemed to react belatedly that the relief food indeed became less.

But now they vaguely dared not have conflicts and riots with Ninglan New City, because they enjoyed a ”stable” life.

Although living under others’ roof, if they resist, they might lose all of this currently.

Of course, the main thing is that they can’t beat the other party.

If the other party inhumanely wipes them out directly, then it’s over.

Although there are people who trust in luck, these people cannot incite collective emotions very well.

Plus, language can be communicated gradually now, so they also have to choose to negotiate the issue of relief food with the other party through communication.

But this still has to be euphemistic.

After all... this is really begging for food.

They have broken away from the stage of not having enough clothes to cover their bodies and not enough food to eat brought by the disaster.

People with no physical problems are fully qualified to support themselves with their own hands.

The continued distribution of relief supplies is to take care of more elderly, children, disabled, and pregnant women who cannot take care of their own lives.

But soon they received an unacceptable problem, that is, as Ninglan New City relieved so many people, supplies within the city also began to lack, so they had to reduce supply in this regard.

However, Ninglan New City also gave a new plan.

They can provide ”jobs” for them to earn rewards themselves, while relief supplies are left for people more in need.

It can be said that Ninglan New City has indeed done enough in this regard.

After all, saving so many people ”for free” has absolutely no benefit for themselves.

They have broken away from the survival crisis, yet still want to be rice freeloaders.

Ninglan New City is naturally unwilling to support such a group of people.

But put bluntly, this is just mutual benefit in another way.

Moreover, Ninglan New City is the group occupying the dominant position between the two parties.

And the one who came up with this method... is naturally not just Ninglan Qiuyue.

But since Ninglan New City has started doing this, it means Ninglan Qiuyue still nodded.

What’s more, she cannot watch Ninglan New City supporting a group of rice freeloaders, spending Ninglan New City’s supplies!

And this plan naturally attracted opposition from many people, but the opposition was invalid.

They no longer had the qualification nor the guts to raise the blade of resistance against Ninglan New City.

Moreover, there are a large number of old, weak, sick, and disabled among them.

They only want stability.

Previously they couldn’t live on, so they had to do that.

But now not starving to death, naturally there is no need.

And among that group of physically fit people, there are also some who are also very simple workers.

They also hope to exchange their own labor for rewards.

And once those with working ability leave, the relief supplies spread out will also increase a bit, and those unable to work can also eat full.

So just guiding public opinion a little, those rice freeloaders who have hands and feet but are lazy will be subjected to ubiquitous pressure and exclusion from people around them.

Just like this, relying on this means, Ninglan New City obtained a lot of ”cheap labor,” and the mining efficiency of many rare Transcendent material mining areas also increased.

And some energy crystal mining areas with dangerous radiation require matching protective alchemy equipment and specialized mining alchemy instruments to mine.

But with the increase of these equipment, ordinary people can also be competent for this job.

Gradually, some students arriving at Ninglan New City discovered... they seem to be... unemployed?

The places originally renting some alchemy instruments seem to have become fewer?

Although as visitors of Ninglan New City, where they go to obtain resources is not restricted, seeing a large batch of ordinary people grabbing resources with them as soon as they arrive at the mining area... anyone would feel very uncomfortable, okay?

And the Transcendent materials mined by those ordinary people all entered the storage equipment of those people above them.

In an instant, it seemed the gap between people widened.

But asking them to confront those people from big clubs or even teaching assistants face to face... most people still don’t have this courage.

But this matter also made them understand one thing, that is, being a ”miner” oneself has no future!

Joining an organization or group can better obtain benefits.

For example, the Architecture Clubs with the greatest demand now, as well as Planters, Alchemists, etc.

After all, as for now, one corresponds to the infrastructure helping refugees rebuild civilization, which is contractually correct, and another corresponds to food supply.

After all, buying food from outside is really too expensive, and will also cause food prices in some areas to rise, etc.

With such a large area in the Expansion Realm and so much land, not utilizing it is naturally too wasteful.

Self-sufficiency is the best circulation method currently.

But put bluntly, it is large clubs establishing the general environment, small clubs joining large clubs to fill the demand gap, and people with a skill don’t worry about having no place to use their skills under the general environment.

Only those who know nothing but greedily want to make a big profit look around here at a loss.

Even lower-grade students will take this opportunity to follow upper-grade seniors as apprentices to learn a skill for themselves.

After all, whether Planters, Alchemists, etc., all need manpower and apprentices to do some trivial matters.

And just at this busy moment in Ninglan New City, a figure appeared within the city, and this figure was naturally me.

With the news of my return to the city spreading, I guess many people’s eyes will stare at me again, right?

I haven’t forgotten their definition of me, an unstable factor.

However, returning to the city this time, don’t know if it’s an illusion, the process of returning to the city has become simple enough that I just reported my name and they let me in.

”A bit lively... didn’t expect a market to be set up within the city? Interesting.”
