Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1293: Chapter 1293: Bobby Runs to Lawrence Headquarters Chapter 1293: Chapter 1293: Bobby Runs to Lawrence Headquarters Bobby was a person of swift and resolute action.

The next day, early in the morning, he got up early and watched Enna leave for work. He then rummaged through his own bedroom for his little backpack, handed Gigi over to Edward Jackson under the pretense of having plans to see a movie with classmates. At the cinema, he ditched the driver Edward had arranged for him, and, with his backpack on his shoulders, hailed a taxi on the roadside and headed straight for the Lawrence Headquarters Building.

The Lawrence Headquarters was undoubtedly a landmark building in Country W.

The taxi driver was already surprised that he was traveling alone without an adult, and even more when he crisply requested to go to the Lawrence Headquarters. As he drove, the driver couldn’t help but ask, “Child, does your dad or mom work at Lawrence?”

“They both work inside,” Bobby replied very politely to the stranger, without a trace of a young master’s temperament.

The driver noted how handsome and neatly dressed he was and sighed internally, thinking he might be the child of a young couple who both earned good money but were too busy with work to spend time with their child. The child, missing his parents, must have decided to visit their company to find them.

When they reached the entrance to the Lawrence Headquarters, the driver even charged him 0.75 dollars less and advised him to give his parents’ names to the security guard, to have the security guard call them out, and not to wander around alone.

Bobby actually listened politely to his advice, then lifted his little face and waved hand with a smile, “I understand, thank you, Uncle, goodbye.”

“You must wait here nicely for your dad and mom to come out, and don’t go with anyone you don’t know if they talk to you. You must wait until your dad and mom come before you do anything. That’s it, I’ll be going now,” the driver said, waved his hand, and drove away.

Once the taxi had driven off, Bobby adjusted the little backpack on his body, but he didn’t heed the driver’s advice to seek help from the security guard or to have the security guard call down Enna and Baron Lawrence as promised.

He directly took out the access card he had prepared earlier from his bag and swiped it to enter the Lawrence Headquarters.

The security guard saw him and thought he was a child from one of the company executives’ families, so he didn’t stop him.

Bobby made his way into the company headquarters and didn’t need anyone at the reception to direct him; he himself took the elevator and pressed the button for the 88th floor.

Scott Harris had given him the access pass.

And the fact that the President’s office was on the 88th floor was something he had found out online.

Before coming, he had already gotten a rough impression of what each floor of the Lawrence Headquarters was for, through his computer.

He knew he had to be on the 88th floor to find the Dubious Man.

The morning peak hours for work had already passed, but Lawrence was a big company with many departments. Different levels of staff needed the elevator to find people, so even though the peak period was over, the elevator was still busy with people coming and going.

Each person who entered the elevator was stunned for a moment when they saw the shockingly beautiful little boy inside. Then, as the elevator doors were about to close, they’d hustle in, but almost nobody asked Bobby why he was there or what he was doing.

Like the security guard, everyone assumed he was the child of one of the company executives.

Actually, they weren’t wrong.

Bobby was indeed the child of a company executive, but this executive was far higher up than they imagined, so high as to be at the very top!
