Chapter 441: Chapter 441: The Little Cat’s Wish

Doujin Artist: Pfft, is that Hermione?

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: It has to be. That scene is in the original story. But, she looks stranger in the photo than in the original. Didn’t the Hermione who turned into a cat-girl in the original have less fur?

Machete Girl: It is strange, but I think she’s kind of cute. Especially those two fluffy little ears, I really want to touch them.

Soul Society’s Villain: That’s easy. Just ask Anzen to make you a bottle of that potion too. Then you can grab your own ears and touch them.

Doujin Artist: Pfft, Sister Hua’s suggestion is absolutely brilliant!

Machete Girl: Forget it... While I like fluffy ears, that doesn’t mean I want to turn into one. A lot of people like pets like cats and dogs, but that doesn’t mean they want to become cats and dogs, right?

Lazy Kitten: Damn, you’re so right! Nobody wants to turn into a cat or a dog, nobody! Even if you do, it’s only because you’re forced to! Like pitiful me!

Curly-haired Guy: You really relate to that, don’t you.

Lazy Kitten: Why, why did I have to be reborn as a cat! Damn it, even when I want to drink some cola, I have to hold the bottle with two paws! And with an animal’s mouth, you can’t even tilt your head back to drink! If you tilt your head back, the cola will spill all over your fur!

Amegakure Village’s Angel: This... that really is quite painful.

Konan wasn’t making fun, she actually felt a bit sorry for Qi Luoli.

After all, even when she spills a little cola on herself while drinking, it’s uncomfortable. How much more so for someone who spills it on their own fur! And cola stains are hard to get out and sticky.

Lazy Kitten: Exactly! This poor kid is about to have a breakdown! Sob, sob!

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Right! Since people turn into cat-girls when they drink Polyjuice Potion, what would a cat turn into if it drank it? Could it also turn into a cat-girl?

Lazy Kitten: I can try, I want to try!

Compared to her current completely feline form, Qi Luoli would naturally prefer to be human. Even if only partly human, she’d be satisfied.

This is an Actor: Don’t dream. At most, you’ll turn into a female cat.

Lazy Kitten: What’s a female cat?

Scarlet Lotus Fairy: It means you don’t change at all. You stay whatever you are.

Lazy Kitten: Huh? How can that be? It’s not fair!

The little kitten was furious! Why could humans turn into cat-girls after drinking it, but cats would be unaffected? This is discrimination, blatant racial discrimination!

This is an Actor: Polyjuice Potion is a magical potion, and magical potions are essentially made to serve human wizards. Your body is that of a cat, and it’s completely incompatible with human biology, so it wouldn’t produce any useful effects.

Lazy Kitten: Damn it! Am I destined to be a cat for the rest of my life?

This is an Actor: Do you really want to become human again?

Lazy Kitten: Yes, I really want to! Cat paws are inconvenient, and I have too much surface area contact when I play games!

Scarlet Lotus Fairy: ???

Doujin Artist: What the heck, playing games? You want to turn back into a human just so you can play games?

Lazy Kitten: Life is a game! You guys think I just want to play games, but in reality, I’m doing it for my own life! A life without games isn’t complete! Can you even sleep at night without playing with your squad?

Machete Girl: That’s true, it’s really hard to sleep.

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: I don’t play with a squad! But before I go to sleep at night, I definitely have to draw some cards. I can’t sleep until I get something good!

Doujin Artist: You’re hopeless, all you game addicts! Have you ever considered that playing games is actually part of the imperialist pacifier strategy, where they use games as a tool to wear down your time?

Foul-Mouthed Mask Guy: Yes, exactly! Those weak mobile games and online games just drain our fighting spirit. We must not get addicted to them!

Amegakure Village’s Angel: So, girls are more fun than games?

Foul-Mouthed Mask Guy: Oh, of course! This is a question that doesn’t even need asking. Nothing is more fun than girls! Nothing!

Doujin Artist: You can shut up now, pervert! You have the nerve to talk about having your fighting spirit drained? You’re completely consumed by perverted thoughts, you scoundrel!

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: But Mr. Deadpool is right, we really can’t stay addicted. When I get home tonight, I’ll draw all the cards I have, and then I won’t touch them anymore.

Machete Girl: If you’re planning to quit, why would you still draw cards?

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Cough, well! I just want to see if I can get that legendary skin after drawing fifty cards. I’ve been looking forward to it for a long time!

Doujin Artist: ...Hopeless.

Eriri sighed inwardly and shook her head helplessly. She really didn’t understand what was so fun about gacha games! It’s not like she hadn’t played them before, she felt they were just so-so.

Back then, she spent over 100,000 yen on microtransactions, but she didn’t even get a single gold card. From then on, she completely quit those games and deeply loathed them!

This is an Actor: Lori, do you want to become human permanently, or can you switch between human and cat forms?

Lazy Kitten: Huh? You can switch between forms?

This is an Actor: Yes. The former is based on the concept of permanent magical tattoos, while the latter is the Animagus transformation for animals.

Scarlet Lotus Fairy: I think the latter is better. Being able to switch between human and animal seems quite interesting.

Lazy Kitten: Then, then I want the one where I can switch!

This is an Actor: I’ll make the potion in a bit and upload it to the group later.

Lazy Kitten: Thanks, Anzen big brother, you’re the best! I love you, mwah!

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: As expected of Anzen-san, you seem to know everything. But since you can make this kind of potion, can’t you also cure Hermione’s condition?

This is an Actor: Did I say I couldn’t?

Doujin Artist: Ah, this. Not that you can’t, but you don’t want to?

Machete Girl: Pfft! You deliberately made that poor little girl suffer in her cat-girl form for half a month? You’re terrifyingly cunning, Anzen-san!

Soul Society’s Villain: Konan, I caught a spy in the South Industrial Zone.

Amegakure Village’s Angel: A spy? How unusual, have other ninja villages started coming to us? Handle it as you see fit, Sister Hua. Whether you kill them outright or break all their limbs and feed them to the wolves, it’s all fine.

Soul Society’s Villain: No, I think you should handle this person yourself. [Image].
