Chapter 417: Chapter 417: Teacher and Fellow Students, Long Time No See

These growing containers held men and women, old and young, Earth people and all kinds of aliens.

The group members could clearly see through the screen that these living things were not dead. They seemed to just be in some kind of sleep, but their senses were still working.

The expressions on their faces all had some pain. Some part of their skin was covered with blood-red lumps. Those lumps were like hearts attached to their bodies, constantly beating.

Lazy Kitten: Oh my god, what is that? It’s so gross!

Seeing this scene, Qi Luoli gasped and took a big bite of the chicken leg in front of her. She said it was gross, but she was eating with gusto.

Doujin Artist: Human experiments, more human experiments. It seems like every big bad guy has to do human experiments. Aizen was like that, Kihara Gensei was like that... Danzo was like that, and now the Tendoshu are like that.

Lazy Kitten: Because that’s a historical theme, a bad guy who doesn’t do human experiments feels like something is missing.

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Those red lumps, are they Hollow cells? Are these Tendoshu starting to research that part for eternal life?

Scarlet Lotus Fairy: But they don’t even think about it. If they really put Hollow cells into their bodies, are they still themselves or another Hollow?

Machete Girl: I feel like it’s a bit much to ask them to think about that. For rulers like them, as long as they can live forever, that’s all that matters. What does it matter if they lose themselves?

Curly-haired Guy: Ah, you’re right. From the ruler’s point of view, I can probably understand them.

Pretty Boy from Skull Island: Huh?

”But sadly, Gin-san, I’m not like those officials with all kinds of privileges.” Sakata Gintoki smiled at the screen and slowly pulled out the wooden sword at his waist. ”I’m just a commoner, I have my own point of view!”

He raised his hand and swung his sword.

The entire space was suddenly split by a white line. With the white line as the starting point, a powerful sword energy suddenly spread out.

Bang bang bang.

The bottles and jars placed in the hall burst open, and the dark green liquid inside splashed everywhere.

Sakata Gintoki lightly shook the wooden sword in his hand and continued to walk forward on the broken glass.

I have to say, at this moment he did look a bit like the ”White Yaksha.” It was as if that perverted, lecherous Gin had disappeared and become another person.

Whoosh.

Just as he lifted his foot, a steel needle suddenly shot towards him.

Sakata Gintoki sidestepped to avoid the attack. He looked to his left and saw a man wearing a bamboo hat and holding a staff.

”Long time no see, White Yaksha.” The man faced Sakata Gintoki, showing his scars.

”It’s you.” Sakata Gintoki looked at him coldly and said calmly, ”That’s a face that brings back memories.”

The man in front of him was named Oboro. Strictly speaking, he should be Sakata Gintoki’s oldest fellow student.

He was saved by the immortal blood of the Void, who had developed the ”Yoshida ShoYo” personality, and joined the Naraku organization to follow the Void.

After that, Oboro called the Void ”teacher” and said, ”If the teacher is a killer, then I am already an excellent killer,” which gave the Void the idea of starting a private school and becoming a real teacher.

This led to the birth of ”Yoshida ShoYo.”

But he unintentionally saw the teacher’s Shoka Sonjuku school recruiting many students and became jealous, leading the Naraku to capture the teacher. This was also a key factor in ”Yoshida ShoYo” being killed.

Overall, Oboro is a very conflicted person. He wanted his ”teacher” to be happy, but he sacrificed his ”teacher’s” happiness because of jealousy.

These experiences made Sakata Gintoki have complicated feelings for him. He hated him, but he also felt sorry for him. At least compared to the guy in front of him, he had truly enjoyed the ”teacher’s care.”

”Hmph, since you came here.” Oboro looked at Sakata Gintoki calmly and said softly, ”Then, you should be prepared to die, right?”

”I’m sorry to say that.” Sakata Gintoki slowly raised the wooden sword in his hand and replied, ”I can’t die anymore.”

Swish.

Just as he finished speaking, Oboro suddenly shot towards him. He raised his right arm and opened his five fingers. A powerful shock wave suddenly gathered in his palm and struck Sakata Gintoki’s chest.

Clap.

Sakata Gintoki swung his sword to block the palm strike. Sword and palm met, and the entire space rippled. The two of them stepped back several steps due to the force.

”I see.” Oboro looked down at his slightly red palm and said calmly, ”It seems your strength has increased after not seeing you for several years. Is that why you dared to come here?”

”Gotten stronger?” Sakata Gintoki chuckled and said, ”This is just my original strength from years ago. To be precise, you’ve gotten weaker, right?”

Swish.

Before Sakata Gintoki could finish speaking, Oboro suddenly closed in on him. ”It seems you’ve become more arrogant after not seeing you for several years.” He raised his right arm and pointed his index and middle fingers at Sakata Gintoki’s waist and abdomen.

This is the traditional Chinese method of pressure points. Oboro, as Yoshida ShoYo’s first disciple and the current leader of the Naraku, has learned more than just swordsmanship.

But strangely, his fingers were blocked by an invisible barrier just as they were about to touch Sakata Gintoki’s body. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t get any closer.

What’s going on?

A look of surprise appeared on Oboro’s face.

”Is it strange? This is actually the Chinese martial arts you think you’re familiar with.” Sakata Gintoki grinned and said, ”And when Chinese martial arts reach the Innate realm, you can create this kind of protective energy. You’ve never seen it, have you?”

”What?” Oboro’s eyes widened and his expression froze.

Let alone protective energy, he didn’t even know what the Innate realm meant. And does Chinese martial arts in this world have this kind of level division?

He’s never heard of it at all!

”Hmph, then I’ll show you... what real pressure points are like.” Sakata Gintoki smiled proudly and flicked Oboro’s forehead from a distance.

Tap.

As if hit by a small stone, Oboro suddenly leaned back. Then, his whole body seemed to be turned on. He opened his mouth and started laughing crazily.
