Chapter 435: Chapter 435: The Dragon Knight Arrives

Doujin Artist: Huh? You didn’t come?

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Yeah, you said it would take half an hour. It’s only been ten minutes. I’m still changing clothes. Look, I was planning to go with this outfit. [Picture]

The photo Ruiko sent was of a black trench coat, paired with a red-patterned fox-face mask.

Curly-haired Guy: Hey, hey, you think wearing something like that will give you villain vibes? If that’s your idea, then I have to say you’re naive. Really, really naive!

Foul-Mouthed Mask Guy: Exactly, naive to the point of being annoying! A fox face just doesn’t work. You need something scarier! Something that makes people tremble just looking at it!

Machete Girl: Maybe stick Deadpool’s face onto the mask? That would scare anyone, right?

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Pfft, seriously, sticking a face onto a mask.

Lazy Kitten: You’re truly a creative genius, Kotonoha. No ordinary carbon-based life form would ever think of that move.

She’d heard of human skin masks and cosmetic face changes. But the idea of sticking a face onto a mask was something Qi Luoli had never heard of before. In a way, Katsura Kotonoha’s thinking probably wasn’t far behind some inventors.

Amegakure Village’s Angel: I actually think the fox mask isn’t bad. Ruiko’s main goal is just to cover her youthful face, not to emphasize any villainous vibe. Regardless of the vibe, what she’s about to do will be seen as villainous by the rulers anyway.

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Right, that’s exactly my thinking. Our enemies are the corrupt rulers. So as long as the rulers think I’m a villain, our goal is achieved. This is mainly a propaganda move.

Lin Fengjiao: Good that you weren’t led astray by Gin and Deadpool.

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Ha ha, I wouldn’t be led astray by them. Usually, I only listen to about twenty percent of what they say. And I pick selectively, because it doesn’t have much practical meaning.

Curly-haired Guy: Hey, what do you mean by that? Are the other eighty percent Gin-san says all nonsense?

Foul-Mouthed Mask Guy: That’s too harsh! Damn, that’s just too harsh!

Scarlet Lotus Fairy: If it were just nonsense, that would be fine. The key is, what you say isn’t just nonsense, it’s bullshit. I think anyone with even a little brain wouldn’t listen to bullshit.

Foul-Mouthed Mask Guy: Hey, that’s exaggerated, buddy. My butt can’t talk, it only poops!

Machete Girl: That doesn’t mean what comes out of your mouth isn’t bullshit. Also, Ruiko, isn’t that trench coat a bit too big? It doesn’t seem to fit your figure.

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Trench coats should be slightly bigger, right? If it’s too small, wouldn’t it bind on your body? And Eriri’s area is still autumn. I plan to wear more layers underneath.

Lazy Kitten: Afraid of cold? Just circulate your Nine Yang True Energy a few more times. That’ll definitely warm you up.

Doujin Artist: It’s actually not that cold. I’m wearing just a single layer.

This is an Actor: Aren’t you forgetting the main topic with all this chatting?

Doujin Artist: Topic? Oh, right! Damn, you got me off track! Since Ruiko isn’t here, what’s the situation on my end? [Picture]

In the picture Eriri sent, you could clearly see a dazzling golden light flashing far off on the coastline. The blue sea water churned under that golden light, looking quite Shocking.

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: ? What’s this situation?

Lin Fengjiao: Looking at it with the naked eye, it seems quite auspicious. But in a world like yours, such a situation probably isn’t auspicious.

Lazy Kitten: Could it be that some incredible beast is about to appear?

Doujin Artist: I’m heading over there. Hope I can hold up.

Eriri stepped on the waves, her body rapidly speeding toward the place where the golden light flashed. But as she got close, she found several warships had already formed a tight blockade, completely surrounding the area where the golden light shone.

The Northern Sea Fleet?

Eriri halted her movement, her brows furrowing under her cloak. The so-called Northern Sea Fleet was their island nation’s term for it. Actually, this fleet belonged to America.

Its full name was the U.S. Island Garrison Fourth Fleet, consisting of four destroyers and six cruisers. This fleet usually stationed in the northern area of Tokyo Bay, but today it suddenly appeared near the offshore area.

So the higher-ups had also noticed this golden light and reported it to their American daddy? Hah, really such good sons!

Eriri showed grateful expression, but didn’t make any rash moves.

She hated how these U.S. troops acted freely in her country. With her strength, destroying this fleet would be easy. But she needed to maintain her hero persona now, so she couldn’t act recklessly.

Acting rashly against ”friendly nation forces” would ruin the image she’d painstakingly built recently. For their cause, she had to hold back for now.

Taking a deep breath, Eriri took a photo and sent it to the group: I feel this should be like some kind of portal? Something similar to a black cavity?

This is an Actor: It does seem similar.

Lazy Kitten: Ah, so after all this, it’s an alien invasion? Earth, already suffering, gets worse?

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Fast-forward to the Celestial Council ruling the world?

Amegakure Village’s Angel: Gin-san knows all about that.

Doujin Artist: No, I feel it’s a bit different from aliens. The patterns on that portal have a kind of fantasy style. Seems like a magic array?

Roar.

Right after she spoke, from the sky where the golden light flashed, a terrifying roar suddenly rang out. Immediately, a massive, ferocious and hideous head passed through the golden channel, coming into Eriri’s view.

A dragon?

Eriri was stunned, her face showing astonishment. That head looked like a lizard, but had a pair of curved horns. Its jaw edges were covered in spikes, exactly like a Western dragon from movies and shows.

The dragon head emerged from the passage, its body appearing.

Its body was covered in bright red scales, two wings like large bats gently flapping. The entire sea surface seemed to be hit by a typhoon, the seawater rippling outward on both sides.

What most stunned Eriri was that there was actually a person riding on this dragon’s back?!
