THE GOD EATER

The Domain Power Metac had to work with him, supporting it the way Dao Lords support their disciples with Dao Status, and without him bearing most of the cost, the Domain Power Metac would consume too much energy from his disciples to use.

’I have no problem with bearing the cost of usage. After all, I have infinite Life Energy. However, those two other costs are too much,’ he said after thinking about the problems for a long time.

One of the things he was satisfied with about this attempt was that only he and his son could use this method. But even his son would have to stop using it because Entropy would cost too much.

Unfortunately, not being able to take his disciple’s lifespan was a deal breaker for him. And he was sure his disciples wouldn’t like being unable to advance to Rank 3 and become divine beings.

In fact, the thought of his son trying to support around a hundred billion mortals supplying him with Entropy put a smile on his face.

This made him say, ’I am almost tempted to go with the idea just to see if he will try to copy me. But I’m sure I can do better.’

’I am sure that I can create a method that doesn’t need a Core Metac version of the Domain Power Metac and will stump my son too. I just need to find something that can help my disciples handle the pressure of the Domain Power Metac without crumbling.’

After racking his brain for a long time, he finally came up with an idea that could work. The idea was to create an intermediary between him and his disciples that could help them do what they couldn’t handle without turning the Domain Power Metac into a Core Metac.

’I will have to rely on the divine constellation at the end of the day,’ he said with a grin.

He was so excited about this idea that he didn’t want to stop working on this project. The meeting with the Rank 8 divine beings that he asked for threatened to make him pause, though. Fortunately, as a Dao Lord, he could easily multitask.

When the time for the meeting arrived, he made his avatar pause, bringing small and medium worlds for large worlds to eat. Then he sent his avatar to the Blessed Heaven World, where the meeting was set to be held.

So his avatar was busy in the lower realm while his true body was busy in the upper realm. That way, he could do two things at the same time.

Along the way to the Blessed Heaven World, he thought in anticipation, ’This will be the first time I’m meeting the rank 8 divine beings of every sect in every world. I wonder what they will be like.’

This meeting is important to him because it is an opportunity for him to meet nearly every Rank 8 divine being in the Sea of Worlds. He could not have achieved it on his own.

Even orchestrating a meeting with every Rank 8 divine being in the Blessed Heaven World is difficult because divine beings are usually scattered throughout the lower realm.

Divine beings in a world are rarely all present at the same time. In fact, at most, 20% of the divine beings are present at a time. As a result, it would be very difficult to drop into a world and see every divine being.

’Besides, it is not like I can send out a message to them that I want to see them. I’m sure that they won’t come.’

’In fact, the opposite is most likely to happen if they hear that the avatar of a Dao Lord wants to meet with them. They will run and hide as far as they can,’ he thought, chuckling.

’I can’t say that I blame them. It is just smart to avoid powerful beings that can kill them easily.’

Unfortunately, no matter how smart the Rank 8 divine beings were, they were still weak and under the control of certain powerful beings, making it impossible for them to avoid him this time.

Their Dao Lords sent a message forcing all of them to arrive at the second heaven of the Blessed Heaven World. Then the Dao Lords went above and beyond what he asked of them. They dropped whatever they were doing and made themselves available for the meeting.

For that reason, when Loki arrived at the Blessed Heaven World, he saw many rifts above the Blessed Heaven World. There were six rifts, and six Dao Lords were looking through them to see the meeting point.

”I thought we agreed that you wouldn’t interfere,” Loki’s avatar said with a frown.

He wasn’t displeased, but he didn’t show it. Instead of smiling and laughing at their antics, he decided to behave as if their tactic was working.

In response to his complaint, Martial Will said nonchalantly, ”We won’t interfere. We just want to see what you’re up to. That’s not against the rules.”

Loki still frowned, clearly unsatisfied with the explanation. Unfortunately, he couldn’t find fault with the explanation, but it only made him more displeased.

In his displeasure, he turned and said to Harem King, ”What are you doing here? You don’t even have one divine being.”

She sneered and said in disdain, ”Nothing in your request stated that Dao Lords without divine beings couldn’t show up to spectate. So it is not against the rules.”

In response, Loki snorted and didn’t bother to ask Black Chain why he was here, even though the Four Directions Sect didn’t have a single divine being left.

He ignored the stares from above and entered the Blessed Heaven World. Upon entry, he tore the barrier between dimensions and entered the second dimension. From there, he flew up into the second heaven.

When he arrived at the meeting point, he found 21 divine beings waiting for him. They stood together, grouped according to the sect they came from.
