THE GOD EATER

As soon as he got what he wanted, he reentered the third dimension and flew away in the direction of a new small world that had appeared recently. He was still holding the moose by the scruff of its neck, so he was dragging it along.

The moose saw the direction he was going and became frightened. Its voice was full of fear as it said, ”Where are you going?”

Loki replied with a question, saying, ”Where is it that you don’t want me to go?”

The answer flashed briefly in the moose’s mind before it said, ”You will never find it.”

Loki could only smile and say, ”It is good to have a devoted servant like you. But it is even better to be as strong as I am because it makes dealing with devoted servants like you very easy.”

After Loki left the Blessed Heaven World, the Will of the World and the other Dao Lords lost sight of him. This put them in a dilemma.

”Should we continue to watch with our true bodies?” Sword Maestro asked.

Carefree Immortal said in reply, ”I want to see what will happen, but I am worried that the Gemini people will take that as me being an accomplice.”

Then he chuckled and said, ”You know me, I don’t want trouble.”

”You’re just afraid,” Martial Will said in disdain.

But Immobile Mountain sneered and said, ”What about you? Aren’t you scared of the Gemini people? If you were not, you would have destroyed that unicorn by now.”

Upon hearing this, Green Fire chuckled and said to Martial Will, ”If it were anyone else who tried to invade your Domain, you would have turned their envoy to meat paste by now. I should know because you have done so to my envoy.”

”Idiots, all of you,” Martial Will said with even more disdain. ”What do you know about strategy?”

”I am not a buffon who only knows how to fight. There is a benefit to be had here, and until I’ve gained all I can, I won’t escalate the situation.”

”If you wanted to learn that badly, you could have created an avatar and sent it to interrogate the Apex God. Why didn’t you do so?” Heavenly Eye asked with a mocking smile.

”Oh, I know that one,” Carefree Immortal said enthusiastically. ”He didn’t create an avatar because he is afraid of Inevitable Ragnarok.”

Martial Will, without an ounce of shame, said, ”He defeated me once in the lower realms. I am not so foolish as to do the same thing but expect a different outcome.”

”It is being smart and prudent not to give him another opportunity to seize my avatar. I don’t have money for another auction,” he said with bitterness.

Then his bitterness quickly turned into anger as he said, ”Don’t act like none of you were afraid of him either. I know for a fact that you’re all afraid of him.”

While they were arguing, Black Chain already tore a rift in the barrier between the lower and upper realm. It seemed that he didn’t care about the opinion of the other Dao Lords.

When Tepid Scholar saw this, he said, ”We’re only watching. Surely the Gemini people can’t blame us for this.”

Tepid Scholar also didn’t wait for their decision. The Dao Lord of the Myriad Phenomenon Sect quickly opened up a rift to look through so as not to miss anything important.

The other Dao Lords followed suit after hesitating a little bit. The main thing that convinced them to continue looking was that many of them were doing it. If everyone was doing it, they would be missing out by not joining.

So together with Loki’s eyes, ten pairs of eyes appeared above the Sea of Worlds. But things didn’t end there.

The commotion created by so many Dao Lords peeking into the lower realm attracted the attention of more Dao Lords, who also decided to peek to see what was going on.

The competition going on in the lower realm these past few days had made Dao Lords more sensitive in general. So in a few seconds, the sky of the power realm became full of inquisitive eyes looking down.

Down below, Loki dragged the moose all the way to a small world. Along the way, he saw a lot of things that surprised him.

”Is this the same Sea of Worlds?” he asked in pleasant surprise. ”There are so many worlds now. It looks so much different.”

The previous Sea of Worlds was mostly space. It took a lot of time and effort to find a single world. But now there was practically a world with every step.

All of the extra worlds were small worlds, though. The number of medium, large, and super worlds hadn’t changed at all.

”Now it is looking like a sea of worlds. I wonder how it will look when spirit energy returns.”

While he was marveling at the sight, he reached his destination. The destination was a small brown and red world with a surface covered by deserts and erupting volcanoes.

When they arrived, the moose began crying, saying, ”No. No. This can’t be happening.”

Loki ignored the dramatic moose and held it up to the world as he said, ”Is this yours?”

In response, a phantom figure appeared at the edge of the world, facing Loki. It was a phantom image of a giant black moose.

Upon seeing who was causing trouble, the phantom moose smiled and said, ”So it is Lord Ragnarok. It is nice to finally meet you. I knew that you would come.”

”Someone as talented as you, who managed to establish the first Divine Mountain in this Domain, must only be overestimated, never underestimated. This is something I have come to learn after learning how difficult it is to raise a world to become a Divine Mountain.”

The giant black moose chuckled as it said, ”I said to myself, how can this backfire terribly? When I answered that question, I knew to expect you at my doorstep.”
