THE GOD EATER

He is still worried about increasing the motivation for people to kill him, but he has gotten more confident about handling the threat thanks to the increase in divinity from the spark of power.

’Besides, the benefit of exposing the secret is also immense,’ he thought as his avatar went into the lower realm to move worlds.

’More people want to join my Divine Court and usurp more now, thereby strengthening the Divine Mountain in the process. Plus, I need the strength to move worlds without destroying them.’

Clearly, he didn’t decide to expose this ability on a whim. He had thought it through, with the need for a lot of power being one of the important reasons he made the decision.

After setting up a Domain on every super world, the next step is to create more super worlds. He could also expose the three super worlds that Heavenly Eye was hiding, but he chose to pretend not to know about their existence.

To help large worlds become super worlds, he would need to invest a lot of resources into them. He would need a lot of world essence and spirit stones from the Second Heaven to help them advance.

But there are some resources that he can’t find easily, such as souls and living beings. They also need a large size, up to ten billion square kilometers.

Large worlds need a lot of living beings, souls to replenish those living beings, and a large space for the living beings to live in, not just world essence and spirit fragments, to advance.

The good news was that large worlds could produce living beings and souls on their own. They just need some time.

With enough time and resources, a large world would increase in size, produce more living beings, and synthesize more souls. But he was in a hurry, so he decided to take a shortcut.

His shortcut was inspired by the world-capturing system that Tepid Scholar had set up in the Blessed Heaven World. But he didn’t have a powerful array for capturing worlds, so he sent down an avatar to move worlds.

His avatar was now dragging small and medium worlds through the Sea of Worlds towards the large worlds. When it reached a large world, he would give it a world to eat, thereby hastening its development.

The large worlds also didn’t dare to resist him. It simply wasn’t a smart idea to say no to someone who was strong enough to draw worlds across vast distances and destroy them.

As for the foolish ones, he always submitted after he beat their world kings, the foolish ones. They accepted his gift and ate it without asking where he got it from.

’As long as I forcefield these 12 large worlds, I will be able to upgrade all of them into super worlds before one year runs out,’ he said to himself in satisfaction as he patted the head of the dragon king of Oceania.

He had become far stronger since the last time they met, but the dragon king was still bigger than him. However, the dragon king didn’t dare to have any ideas about resistance.

It had seen him standing on the golden mountain. Then it saw him drag a world over, so it was thoroughly convinced.

It lowered its head to Loki and said, ”Please, my lord, stand on my head and let me carry you to your next destination.”

”That’s a good offer. But you’re too slow,” Loki replied, shaking his head.

The dragon king’s non-existent heart immediately tightened when he heard this. He immediately pleaded, saying, ”Please, let me be useful to you, my lord.”

Upon seeing this, Loki laughed and said, ”Don’t worry. I don’t plan to kill you. In fact, I want you to advance as soon as possible so that you can join my Divine Court.”

”You’re too weak to be of use to me now. But when you become stronger, you will become useful.”

Only after hearing this did the dragon king dare to relax.

As someone who rose to the top across a mountain of corpses, the dragon king knew that one mustn’t be weak, and if they were weak, they mustn’t be useless or stand in the way of the person stronger than them.

If Loki hadn’t given him a purpose, he would never be able to relax. He would always be wary of being discarded for being useless. But now that he had a purpose and would also get to become a Dao Lord, his situation had surely gotten better.

As it watched Loki leave, it said inwardly, ’I don’t know if I should hope that he dies or not.’

With Loki’s help, Oceania would get to become a super world as soon as possible, and he would get to become a Dao Lord as quickly as possible, too. So the dragon king didn’t know if he should be angry that someone strong enough to step on its head had appeared or not.

’The things we do for power,’ it said with a sigh.

On the other side, Loki’s figure zoomed through the third dimension like a blip in existence. In less than a minute, he reached his destination, a small world.

He took a few seconds to observe the small world, trying to determine its center of balance. When he was done with the examination, he went behind it, grabbed it, and pulled the entire world into the third dimension.

This pulling was happening through the first dimension. It is something that any sufficiently powerful divine being could do. But no divine being can uproot a world from the first dimension and pull it into the third dimension.

The reason he chose to combine the Domain Power of every world into a single avatar is to ensure that he would have enough power to overcome the resistance of the Sea of Worlds and carry a world into the third dimension, where he can cover more distance quickly.
