THE GOD EATER

He is a greedy fellow, so when he saw them fighting each other, he immediately understood why they were fight. But he also found their in-fighting amusing, so he began to laugh.

He understood that they each considered him their prey and were unwilling to share him with the other two. But this amused him because it was still uncertain if they could actually get him or not.

As he laughed, he rushed over to them as fast as he could and quickly used the black force field to submerge the three of them. He also covered the enslaved beasts with the power of the Devouring Ability.

After he did this, he chuckled and said, ”At least, wait until you’ve acquired the price before fighting.”

Before him were 12 black cocoons. Each cocoon contained a divine being that was being devoured alive. Because Fenrir has broken away from him and is now behaving like a rank 8 Metac, it can only devour these people at the rate of 72 years per second.

To lose 72 years of lifespan per second is a terrible thing for anyone. After all, the normal rate of the loss of lifespan is 1 second of lifespan per second. Since these people are losing 72 years of lifespan per second, they are losing lifespan at 2,203,718,400 the normal rate.

A mortal with a maximum lifespan of 80 years would only be able to survive less than a second if they were subjected to this kind of treatment. But to divine beings who easily have a hundred times that amount of lifespan, they can survive for at least a hundred seconds.

A hundred seconds is a short amount of time for a lot of things. But when one is being pursued and hunted, a hundred seconds of time is too short a time to take a break.

So Loki should keep running. The problem is that he can’t run with 12 cocoons when he only has two hands. So he will either have to leave some of them behind or find an extraordinary way to bring them along.

As he thought of this problem, he said, ”I have two possible solutions. I could transform into my dragon form, or I could let the devouring ability do the work.”

”If I transform into my dragon form, I should become big enough to carry all of them in the palm of one hand. So that option should work.”

His dragon form is as big as a world, so carrying 12 people in one hand should be very easy for him. Even if those 12 people were as big as skyscrapers, it still should be easy for him to carry them.

Like most things about him, the size of his dragon body isn’t exactly normal. The dragon king of Oceania was as long as a continent, so it is normal for powerful dragons to be big. But he is extra big because he is actually a super world pretending to be a little dragon.

After he considered this option, he said, ”It should work. The problem is that a dragon of that size will be visible from every corner of the second heaven.”

”If I get that big, no one will need to be a seer to spot me. They can just rush over to me directly. So I have to use the Devouring Ability even if it creates a trail that leads straight to me.”

As he spoke, he let the black force field erupt from him again. This time, he let it cover all of them, including Forced Exchange and Money Speed. Then he used the black force to pull them.

After doing this, he began to run again. He let the Danger Sense Metac pick a direction for him. Then he rushed away at full speed.

The 12 cocoons were dragged behind him with the black force field. In the past, the black force field would have eaten everything along the way, which would have created a trail of emptiness behind him. The trail of emptiness is how the so-called talented swordsman has found him. In this situation, where he is being hunted by over a hundred divine beings, such a trail will become a handicap.

Fortunately, he can now control what to eat with the Devouring Ability and what to avoid, so he was able to prevent the trial of emptiness from forming.

However, even if he couldn’t avoid the trail of emptiness, he would still prefer to do things this way rather than to become a colossal golden dragon. After all, it will be better to allow a few people who stumble onto his trail to find him than to allow everyone hunting him to find him.

Thanks to the Danger Sense Metac, he can avoid running into enemies too strong for him. But this situation can’t last forever because of Star Divination.

The seer can always keep tabs on him and is directing the warriors of the Martial Body Sect to surround him. Many of these warriors have more Divine Metacs than he and are faster than him, so it is only a matter of time before they corner him.

In the meantime, the problem of how to keep his 12 prey is the greatest issue he has to deal with. Of course, for the 12 prey, their problem is much greater.

For now, Forced Exchange and Money Armor are doing well. They have thousands of years of lifespan at their disposal, so they can both last over 30 minutes. This is with both of them sharing 50% of the reserves of their alliance and converting it to lifespan at a rate of 8.25%.

With a reserve of 800,000, both of them have a total of 400,000 to use to hold on. So each of them has 200,000 years’ worth of world essence. After converting it to lifespan, they have 16,500 years of lifespan.

With this much lifespan, they can hold on till Money Body comes to save them. So they didn’t despair despite the agonizing pain.
