THE GOD EATER

Loki was like a bull that had gone mad and was running loose, unchecked around the farm, ramming into everything in his way and destroying it.

However, while he was busy with the seven swordsmen, the will of the swordsman at the core of his world was up to no good. What the swordsman did caused the whole Cave Heaven to shake around Loki.

The swordsman looked at the unfavorable situation he had put himself in and said, “I regret it. I shouldn’t have brought him into my Cave Heaven.”

“I knew fighting in a Cave Heaven was a bad idea, but I didn’t think he was this strong. I didn’t expect that things could go so badly.”

“I should have simply accepted my loss when I had the chance. Now I have to find ways to cut my losses. I am so unwilling.”

What he was doing was painful for him, but he still did it without hesitation. After all, he had already paid 306 years of his lifespan for the opportunity to do this, so it would be stupid to hesitate and let the 306 years of his lifespan go to waste.

So even as his heart hurt, he made the Cave Heaven split into two. Because he was destroying his Cave Heaven in a rush, the Cave Heaven didn’t split cleanly. Instead, the Cave Heaven was fragmenting violently.

He was trying to split his Cave Heaven into two so that Loki would be trapped in the other half, and he would be able to escape with the other half. Unfortunately for him, he was in too much of a rush, so his Cave Heaven was actually splitting into five.

So instead of being able to take away 50% of his Cave Heaven, he would only be able to take away 20%. This was a great loss, but it was one he had to make now that he had invited a great enemy into his most sacred place.

As they say, “It is easy to invite a god into your house, but very difficult to expel the god.”

It was very easy for him to invite Loki into his Cave Heaven, but it wouldn’t be easy to tell Loki to leave. As if the size of his Cave Heaven falling from 124 million square kilometers to 24.8 million square kilometers wasn’t bad enough, there was also the issue of his faulty Life Fire.

As his Cave Heaven split apart, he turned to the source of the problem. He looked at the Sword Storm Metac with a complicated gaze and sighed.

After sighing, he said, “It seems you also have to go.”

Right now, the Divine Position of the Sword Storm Metac was making him lose 6 years of his lifespan every second. He only knows that something is wrong with this Divine Position and can’t tell exactly what is wrong or figure out what is wrong.

Since he is running out of time to fix the problem, he decided to take another drastic action. So he willingly let the Divine Position of the Sword Storm fall apart and snuffed out the Life Fire from this Divine Position.

On the other side, Loki was still fighting the seven swordsmen. There were three of them still left after less than one second of fighting. By the time he destroys the three of them, it will be one second of fighting.

One second was a long time for fighting for divine beings. In that time, a lot can happen. In his case, the Cave Heaven was collapsing around him.

He didn’t know exactly what was going on and only thought that the world was collapsing around him because of their fight. This guess was not completely right. But it was half right.

He still continued to fight the three swordsmen. It was when he reached the third swordsman and was about to destroy him that he noticed that the core of the Cave Heaven had shifted position and was already far away from him.

When he looked around, he saw five continents spread around in the darkness of the void. It was then that he realized that the seven swordsmen had indirectly led him far away from the core of the Cave Heaven.

This made him smile and say, “And here I thought I was draining your lifespan so that it would be easier for me to assimilate your Cave Heaven. But you were only playing dumb by giving me more opportunities to kill you.”

The swordsman shook his head and said, “It is nothing to be proud of. In fact, I am very ashamed.”

But Loki encouraged him by saying, “Don’t be ashamed. This fight isn’t over yet. There is still time for you to reevaluate your performance.”

However, the swordsman didn’t take his words as encouragement at all. He immediately became wary as he asked, saying, “What do you want to do?”

The response came as a punch to his head.

This wouldn’t be the first time that Loki was punching him. However, this punch was different from the previous ones.

On the surface, the difference between this punch and the previous ones was that Loki’s fist was glowing a yellow light now, not the usual red glow of fire.

The swordsman could only tell that something was off based on the different yellow glow of the fist. Only Loki knew that this was because he was using the Viper Fangs Metac.

He stopped using the Power Shifting Ability to transform the Viper Fangs Metac into the Vengeful Bones Metac and instead allowed the Viper Bones Metac to take effect on its own.

This immediately caused the power of his attack to soar from

1,766,016 units of divine power to 6(Cultivation Rank) × (6(Body) + 6(Will) + 6(Soul)) × (6(Nanite) + 6(Gold Body) + 6(Vengeful Bones) + 6(Splitting Edge) + 6(Viper Fangs)) × 146 million square kilometers(Cave Heaven) × 7(Law Fragments), which is 3,311,280 units of divine power.
