THE GOD EATER

His power of 6,132 units of divine power is greater than 5,952 units of divine power from the Swordsman’s Cave Heaven. So the suppression force of the Cave Heaven is nowhere strong enough to be what he can’t bear.

With this kind of suppression force pressing him down and restricting him, he couldn’t become a piece of meat on the chopping block like the sword cultivator wanted him to become. But Loki still went ahead to pretend that he had been suppressed.

He immobilized himself for a short instant. Then he roared as he pretended to activate Divine Metacs to resist.

He actually did activate the Divine Metacs. But they weren’t to resist the suppression of the Cave Heaven. He activated them to prepare to give the swordsman a surprise.

Loki had activated the four Divine Metacs that he had used earlier. This allowed his power to jump from the 1,728 units, that he was able to make in the second heaven, to 6(Cultivation Rank) × (6(Body) + 6(Will)) × (6(Nanite) + 6(Gold Body) + 6(Vengeful Bones) + 6(Splitting Edge)) × 146 million square kilometers(Cave Heaven) × 7(Law Fragments), which is 1,766,016 units of divine power.

So his power soared by a whole 1,022 times because of the enhancement of his Cave Heaven. As this power surged through him, everything looked natural, as if he had just broken the suppression of the Cave Heaven immediately and could move again.

The swordsman was happy to see that the enemy was consuming his lifespan just so that he would be able to move in this Cave Heaven. What was even better was that this consumption of lifespan wouldn’t once.

The enemy would have to consume lifespan every moment to avoid being suppressed. So without exchanging any moves, the swordsman had taken the advantage and forced the enemy to take a loss. This put a smile on his face.

Then the smile on his face froze when he saw a black sphere expand from Loki into the Cave Heaven. As he watched the black sphere begin to strip his Cave Heaven of everything it touched, his frozen face quickly morphed into one of pain and anguish.

What was worse was that the black sphere was reducing the size of his Cave Heaven and stripping away his law fragments, too. There was also the fact that Loki was replenishing his lifespan by devouring the swordsman’s Cave Heaven. So he wasn’t losing any of his lifespan by activating the four Divine Metacs.

The swordsman didn’t know that Loki was gaining lifespan through what he was doing. But just the fact that he was losing power rapidly made his eyes pop out in anger as he roared and attacked Loki.

First of all, he suppressed the black sphere around Loki with the power of his Cave Heaven. When that didn’t work, he attacked Loki directly with his sword.

He materialized a large and heavy two-handed sword that was bigger than him, grabbed hold of it, and swung it down in Loki’s direction.

It was a bigger sword, but he was still attacking Loki with the same move he used to create the second storm. A storm of heavy two-handed swords materialized all around Loki and smashed into him.

Not only was the attack coming from every direction instead of from the swordsman, but the power of the attack was also different.

Now that he had the help of his Cave Heaven, the power of the attack was 6(Cultivation Rank) × (6(Will) + 6(Body)) × (6(Sword Storm) + 6(Sword Mountain)) × 124 million square kilometers(Cave Heaven) × 8(Law Fragments).

His power exploded from the measly 864 units that it was in the second heaven to 857,088 units of divine power. With this kind of power, a small world would be in danger of collapse in one too many hits.

The danger of the attack arrived instantly for Loki as the tens of swords struck the black sphere around him. This time, the power of the attack was greater than what the black devouring force was capable of handling. After all, 857,088 units of divine power from the storm of sword are greater than 6,132 units of divine power of devouring power.

So the black blanket around him was cleaved apart, and the swords struck his body. Then the swords began to carve his body, and they did so with rigorous work ethic.

Each sword was like the blades of a grinder or a blender. Since he was surrounded by more than 50 swords, it can be said that he was in a blender with 50 blades.

And each blade was very dedicated to cutting him to pieces. They rotated around his body, slashing and cutting as much as they could without taking a rest.

It was only after the blades themselves were worn out that they allowed themselves to be replaced by other blades. So they were like worker bees who work themselves to death.

Unfortunately for the swords, being dedicated and hardworking wasn’t enough to make them victorious. Their power was simply lacking compared to the power of his body.

The current defensive power of his body was 1,766,016 units of divine power, so the swordsman stood no chance of hurting him with this level of power.

In fact, the swords weren’t actually touching his body before they broke. This was because the Splitting Edge Metac had turned his body into a weapon and was cutting everything that came near his body.

The Splitting Edge Metac wasn’t designed to be used to defend against attacks. But by covering his body with the power of the Splitting Edge Metac, he can cut attacks as they reach his body. After all, offense is oftentimes the best defense.

To make things more difficult for the swordsman, he decided to turn up the pressure. So he activated the Siphon Ability and used it to drain the swordsman of his lifespan.

He didn’t need the extra lifespan, but by activating the Siphon Ability, he was able to make up for the inability of the devouring forcefield to keep working. This way, he was able to make up for whatever lifespan he was spending in this fight.
