THE GOD EATER

The will of the world didn’t like that he had used some of its lifespan, but it didn’t dare complain to him. If he hadn’t been borrowing the heart of the world at that moment and was connected to the will of the world, he wouldn’t have even noticed its displeasure.

But he didn’t get angry at the will of the world for being displeased with the expenditure of its lifespan. Loki was also displeased with this. He would have preferred to use his own lifespan and not have to go through the heart of the world to use the Divine Metac.

Because of this situation, he won’t be able to use the Hive Mind Metac as he wanted without risking crippling the heart of the world and derailing his plans for his farm. So he didn’t like this arrangement either.

Since the situation couldn’t be helped, he could only say to the will of the world, “Don’t worry, I will get you some of those spirit ores that can increase lifespan. If I can get some world essence, it will be even better.”

The will of the world was successfully consoled by his promise and cheered up. It continued to do the work that Loki had assigned to it while Loki put going to the second heaven to mine spirit ores on his agenda.

After doing this, he took note of the size of Hammock’s Cave Heaven and the number of law fragments in Hammock’s Cave Heaven. In order to confirm his suspicions, he used the Power Identification Ability on himself.

When he saw the size of his Cave Heaven and the number of law fragments in his Cave Heaven, he looked at Hammock and said, “It seems we now have the same Cave Heaven. This must be because you have surrendered to me.”

Then he rubbed his chin and said, “I can see why some divine beings would be tempted to surrender their Cave Heaven. But surrendering your life and death to the whims of another person is still a terrible price to pay.”

He cannot see a future where he will surrender his Cave Heaven to another person. But as for futures where many divine beings have surrendered their Cave Heaven to him either willingly or by force, these are things that he will actively work towards bringing to pass.

This thought put a smile on his face. After all, it pleased him greatly to grow stronger and stronger.

After smiling for a while, he shook his head to stop daydreaming. Then he gave Hammock his orders.

He said to Hammock, “I want an army of ant drones. Make me an army of metal.”

Hammock immediately snapped his attennas in attention and said, “Yes, sir. I’ll get to work immediately.”

He wanted to start mining for metals, but Loki didn’t let him do that. He made Hammock stay in one place while he got the will of the world to arrange some creatures to mine for Hammock.

He was the god of this world, so he knew where every resource in his world was. The will of the world also knew, so it was able to direct the beasts to ore deposits.

The beasts then dug up metal ore, which they transported to Hammock. Hammock ate the metal ore, refined it in his digestive tract, and used it to construct a drone.

At first, Hammock started with tiny drones. They were tiny compared to Hammock, but these drones were as big as cattle calves.

All of these tiny drones were also capable of flight. But what made them truly dangerous were the drills they had for mouth paths, the saws they had attached to their limbs, and the guns they carried on their backs.

After making 10 of these flying drones, Loki ordered Hammock to make other types of drones. So Hammock began making medium drones.

The medium drones were the size of houses. They had two main classes. These classes were the shield class and the spear class.

The shield class of drones was bulky brutes with a shield for a head. When a bunch of them are lined up, they will form a wall of metal.

The drones of the shield class also possess flame throwers attached to their mouth. The flame throwers can work even when they use the shield on their heads to block. So anything that comes near them is in danger of being roasted.

As for the spear class, these ones were light and fast. Their limbs were also capable of stabbing forward at speeds that break the sound barrier. This makes them skirmishers.

The two medium classes are close-range fighters. As for the large class of drones, those ones are siege weapons.

The large class of drones is many stories tall. Some of them have trebuchets, while others carry giant balistae. But the most formidable are the cannon-carrying drones.

A cannon-carrying drone is carrying one large rail cannon on its back and several other smaller cannons for shooting grenades and all sorts of exploding ammunition.

Each large drone is made to function as a small fortress capable of dishing out great firepower and bringing down giant enemies. To fulfill this goal, each one is made to carry one main weapon for devastating firepower and several small weapons for constant firepower.

With this army taking shape, Loki felt confident about venturing into the second heaven. But before going there, he decided to meet with Lady Red and one other person.

The first step in meeting Lady Red is getting in touch with Amelia. Then he should make a deal with Amelia and coerce her to help in getting Lady Red to meet them.
