Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 387: Divine Rule

”However.”

Eterna hadn’t finished speaking.

”There is a possibility that the artifact which originally contained my consciousness might have something.”

”The artifact I utilized came from the Ancient Mecha Race. They are beings that can access the information layer and they are a technologically transcended race. Even though there are only a few in the lower world like ours, they are a major race in the higher plane of existence.”

With that, Eterna’s message ended.

”It’s worth a try.” Grey’s figure flickered, and the next moment, he was within the Floating City’s mansion, inside the most guarded vault of all.

There were all sorts of valuable things in here, and in the dead center, there was a golden cup with mystical power pulsing within it.

This was the Cup of Reincarnation. It was one of the many powerful items Blue Star possessed, which not even the crimson core planet possessed.

But he would get back to this a bit later.

For now, the priority was the artifact which held Eterna.

The artifact, luckily, was not too far from the Cup of Reincarnation.1

On the way, he couldn’t help but glance at it.

[Your comprehension defies the heaven! By observing a god’s artifact, you’ve gained understanding into the Divine Rule of Nirvana.]

”Divine Rule of Nirvana?” Grey was stunned.

The paused cogs within his brain began to work rapidly as new information rushed into his mind like a tidal wave.

It actually turned out to be a god’s artifact from the God World?

And Divine Rule of Nirvana?

”How does it differ from the Dao of Rebirth?”

From the information he received, he understood that this had some correlation with the God World and the Divine Law and most importantly, it felt similar to the Dao of Rebirth.

Perhaps it was similar to the Dao of Rebirth, but for the God World?

It was said that the God World existed even above the higher planes of existence and acted as the gateway to the so-called Ascendant Domain.

”I couldn’t gain any comprehension over the Dao of Rebirth, but I could gain some understanding about the Divine Rule of Nirvana?”

Could it be because he was a god and he could gain comprehension into it?

But on the other hand, if the Daos are strictly under the control of the Heavenly Dao, then shouldn’t he, the closest thing to the Heavenly Dao as a saint, be able to comprehend it?

Then, Grey sighed.

He swiftly put those thoughts away into the back of his head.

As he was right now, a puny 4th-ranker, it shouldn’t concern him that much.

He hasn’t even reached the threshold to know anything about it yet.

For now, it was better to keep them at the back of his mind.

But once he was done, he would closely examine this god’s artifact and see what it was capable of.

Then, Grey’s eyes fell onto the artifact within his hand.

This artifact was what originally contained Eterna when she first entered this planet.

Grey’s consciousness swiftly descended into the information layer, and as he thought, right now, next to him, there was another information-based data structure not too far from him.

This was the artifact.

Immediately, insight about it began to surge rapidly into his mind.

[Your comprehension defies the heaven! By observing a real-time pocket server construct with cloud storage created by the Mecha Race, you’ve fully comprehended the Real-Time Pocket Server Construct Creation Technique.]

”Real-time pocket server construct...” Insight surged into Grey’s mind, and within seconds, he learned how to create this artifact.

”The Mecha Race is no simple beings, huh?” A chill ran down Grey’s spine after going through the technique.

These pocket constructs could, in theory, be utilized as a backup for Grey himself if he utilized them right.

The information layer was the ultimate realm. It held every information—your existence, soul sequence, frequency, and the specific attunement of your soul which made you unique.

If he made a real-time pocket server construct, then he could digitalize himself into the cloud space of the information layer.

It was similar to uploading your files into cloud storage to keep them away on the internet.

But here, he could keep himself away as one of the many files in the archive of the information layer.

In simple terms, if he died, he could utilize it to come back to life.

No wonder Eterna praised the Mecha Race so much.

They were already at the top of the food chain simply because they had access to the information layer, and they could probably manipulate it heavily as well.

And if they could manipulate that heavily, then they could severely corrupt a being as well.

It was a scary thought.

Perhaps not even the gods might be able to escape their clutches, because even their information was kept away inside the information layer.

The information layer—it was a far more important plane of existence than one might think.

It held both the origin and end of someone. Tian Yuan endlessly sought a path that could enter the information layer, and Eterna quite literally used the currents here to make predictions.

Grey couldn’t do it before because it would overload him. Now that he held a server, he could make predictions by making a small prediction module.

Just then, his comprehension triggered.

[Your comprehension defies the heaven! By understanding the importance of the information layer and attempting to form a prediction module, you’ve successfully merged the Information Layer Weaving Technique and the Real-Time Pocket Server Construct Creation Technique.]

[You’ve comprehended the Mecha Race’s ”Mecha Infusion Technique”.]

Insight began to surge rapidly around Grey as information came rushing into his mind one by one. Just as quickly, the information currents within the information layer began to react violently toward his presence.

If Grey held only a small stability within the information currents before, then right now, the information currents were treating Grey like a child rushing back to its father!

Grey’s digital body began to glitch rapidly as a completely new digital power began to be born within him, and his digital form began to gain more information-based structural integrity.

This was Data Energy.

The energy of the Mecha Race.

In case you guys forgot this was first mentioned by Gu Qianchen while he visited southern region to see Grey
