Chapter 353: Assimilation Complete

The Energy Arts realms were divided into three fundamental bases.

First was the Pulse Condensation Realm.

Second was the Pulse Tempering Realm.

And third was the Pulse Gathering Realm.

These constituted the three lower bases of the Energy Arts.

In the Pulse Condensation Realm, one attuned themselves to the world’s power.

This phase focused on Energy Circulation. The cultivator drew spiritual energy into the body, cleared the meridians, and established a path to the dantian while sending energy revolving around one’s body.

At the Pulse Tempering Realm, one tempered the stored energy within the meridians.

This involved Energy Channeling, where spiritual energy was guided through the meridians to strengthen and stabilize the energy pathways.

Simultaneously, the cultivator underwent Energy Purification. Impurities were removed from the stored energy, stabilizing its flow and improving its quality.

At the Pulse Gathering Realm, one achieved Energy Convergence.

One gathered the energy within the meridians and formed a cyclone of energy within one’s elixir field, creating a controllable reservoir known as the Sea of Energy.

The potential of this reservoir was strictly dictated by one’s Dantian classification.

At the bottom was the Black Grade, representing deficient talent with minimal chance of advancement.

Above it sat the Yellow Grade, offering average talent with moderate storage and limited long-term potential.

Then came the Blue Grade, denoting exceptional talent with large reserves and steady growth.

Surpassing that was the White Grade, a mark of near-perfect purity, high cultivation speed, and superior control.

Finally, at the peak, existed the Purple Type. This was the rarest talent, boasting massive energy capacity and extreme potential.

Then came the Middle Base.

Energy Gathering Realm.

Energy Eruption Realm.

Master of Energy Realm.

The Energy Gathering Realm was where the process completely changed.

Starting at this realm, one underwent a complete rebirth through Energy Condensation.

Purified energy was compressed, increasing its density, potency, and storage efficiency.Z

From now onwards, one could utilize the true techniques of Energy Arts.

These included the Nine Vitalizing Meridian Cleansing technique and the Nine Astral Body Tempering technique.

It also allowed for body strengthening, marrow cleansing, blood refining, and mind forging.

After that came the Energy Eruption Realm.

Starting at this realm, one could utilize Energy Manifestation.

This allowed the cultivator to erupt their energy outside their body and make it take physical shapes for offense or defense.

They gained an ability known as the Mind-Energy Connection.

With it, they could make weapons out of energy, create divine manifestations to fight with, and form impenetrable defensive barriers.

This was a qualitative leap in power. From what Grey had observed so far, the Energy Eruption Realm equated to the breaking of the second genetic limit.

Finally, after the Energy Eruption Realm, came the Master of Energy Realm.

In this realm, one achieved Energy Fusion.

The energy integrated with the body, enhancing physical attributes and allowing seamless control. It also allowed them to freely step on air.

One continuously strengthened their energy and body while refining their mastery.

This was the Middle Base.

Above it existed the Upper Base, what the people of the world this realm originated from called the Divine Realm.

It was known as the Legendary Realm.

It held several stages:

Blood-Form Transformation

Soul-Fire Transformation

Yin-Yang Transformation

Three Elements Transformation

Domain Transformation

Divine Consciousness Transformation

Unending Transformation

A total of six stages.

But the thing was, only by Soul-Fire did the third limiter become visible, despite the Blood-Form Transformation boasting the power of a 3rd Ranker at the 1st level.

And the upper limit of this world was the Unending Transformation.

At this stage, one became unending as long as they existed.

One united their blood, body, and soul, taking in the origin power of the world to make one incapable of dying.

If you were killed, your body would form back together, even if it was chopped up into millions of pieces. Of course, it drew heavily on your essence.

Regardless, you wouldn’t be able to die naturally and would be very, very difficult to kill.

But that was the upper limit of their power.

From what he understood, the people in the Lower Base could live for 500 years at the peak of it, 1,000 years at the middle.

Once they reached the Divine Level of Legendary Transformations and were at the sixth transformation, they could easily live for 10,000 years.

It was an astronomical amount.

Honestly speaking, if he wasn’t wrong, the Unending Transformation was already at the level of the 4th Rank. As for which exact level, he didn’t know.

But Grey already had a plan on integrating it into his Nexus Path.

Why?

For starters, it held things related to the soul!

And even without the 4th genetic limiter, he could form a domain.

The genetic limiter was never the threshold to form a domain!

Grey was dumbfounded when he was first going through the realms of this world.

”How could you just devour a world like that, Lesser Heaven?” Grey shook his head speechlessly.

”Can I be blamed? The only thought I had was devouring other planes of existence.”

Grey sighed.

But with this, he had obtained a solid reference point. He had scoured through the vast collection, and only a certain few had really caught his attention.

Just then, Grey’s expression shifted.

The inner space within the Lesser Heaven suddenly twisted and turned. Seeing this, the Lesser Heaven spoke.

”Looks like the process is complete,” Lesser Heaven spoke as he eyed the space. ”Your body is now fully assimilated with the Lesser Heaven.”

But Grey’s figure was nowhere there.

Boom!

Ba-Dump! Ba-Dump!

The Lesser Heaven’s body—which was within the second layer of space—began to tremble uncontrollably as the chaotic currents of the space twisted violently.

[Soul Integrity: 25.8%]

[Soul Integrity: 26.9%]

As the Lesser Heaven’s—no, Grey’s—body twisted and turned within the second layer of space, where he was transported by the World Will after he fell into slumber, his Soul Integrity began rising.

And once it reached 30%, it stopped.

Shnn!

The following exact moment, Grey opened his eyes. The alien-like eyes stared at the chaotic space around him.

”Not bad.”

”The Soul Integrity has reached 30%.”

”With this, I will be able to live past the age of 18.”

Grey mumbled while heaving a sigh of relief.

And the following moment, he looked up.

There was a whale flowing through abyssal energy, sealed away from the rest of the space with the light of a matrix-like cube.

It was the True Abyssal Whale.

”You are pretty powerful, aren’t you?”

Grey, being inside the second layer, could sense its vast powers. It was not something he could fight against right now.

Well, not until all his genetic limiters broke and he returned to the Fourth Rank, which was currently his peak strength.

However, Grey deliberately slowed it down.

He was going to use this chance to make his Nexus Path better. How could he just return to the 4th Rank?

Hence, he suppressed the feeling to break the genetic limiters.

The Lesser Heaven right now was just an empty vessel with no strength whatsoever.

A thin layer of Realmheart energy spanned across his body, keeping his body intact from getting exploded by the pressure of the 2nd layer.

Then he called out to the Fragment of the Heavenly Dao, the consciousness of the Lesser Heaven.

”It seems like the World Breaking Source Power is now also full for a full trip,” Grey said with a smile as his large body transformed back to the human form he took before.

”Yeah, it is.”

”Are you planning on making a trip?”

”Yep.” Grey replied with a smile. ”I plan on comprehending some relevant power and only coming back after finishing my Nexus Path.”

Traveling through other worlds was an exciting notion.

The Tian Yuan he met was also a traveler.

Most importantly, he could visit other worlds with unique power systems to add into his Nexus Path.

Grey hesitated no further.

The World Breaking Source Power was sealed away within the Fragment itself.

He now fully owned the Fragment. No, it would be accurate to say that his body was the Fragment of the Heavenly Dao.

He hadn’t checked it out deeply before. Now that he gained consciousness, he would do just that.

But for now, it was time to leave and perfect his Nexus Path.

Boom!

The Fragment reacted to Grey’s thought, and a star-like portal appeared behind Grey. The next moment, he was sucked right in.

The World Will abruptly appeared in the second layer of space and then left after glancing at the whale above.

It was one of its primary concerns.

Unless the World Will evolved even further, it wouldn’t be able to do anything about the whale. It was that strong.
