Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 361: The Yin-Yang Balance, Three Elemental Convergence and Space (1)

Grey swiftly left the inner space with a confident smile plastered on his face.

He was back in the mansion. The halls were silent and empty. The Fragment had already spent its time clearing away the dead bodies of the fallen servants and the magistrate, leaving no trace of the massacre that had occurred.

”Can you form some barriers to isolate the surroundings?”

”Yep.”

The Fragment casually snapped its fingers.

Hummmm.

Several formations sprung out from the void, interlocking and sealing the space. It held the knowledge of countless worlds it had devoured, so naturally, it came with a library of formations. All it had to do was set them up using the natural energy of this world.

”Perfect.” Grey smiled, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.

He took a deep breath and began the process.

The Fragment, on the other hand, floated to the side to watch for irregularities. It made sure that nobody came close to the mansion, although it knew deep down that eventually, no barrier would be able to contain the monster that Grey was becoming.

Pseudo-Level.

BOOM!

The Nexus Energy that was just sparsely existing within Grey’s body suddenly erupted like a dormant volcano. It charged towards his energy pathways with violent intent. Within seconds, the Nexus Scripture activated. The energy began to purify itself instantly, turning into a roaring river that shot towards the locked elixir fields.

CRACK!

With a crisp sound, the elixir fields were unclogged. His transformed body, derived from the Lesser Heaven, still contained the crystalline heart housing the two elixir fields.

The instant the elixir fields were unlocked, the Nexus Scripture sprung up once again. Qi-Blood strands began to form naturally, weaving through his flesh like steel cables. His mind awakened just as quickly, and Soul Power surged rapidly like a rising tide.

Grey crossed the first genetic limiter and entered the 1st Level!

The power of the Lesser Heaven surged as the automated process of refining the three aspects began. It was not a gentle stream; it was a deluge.

2nd Level...

BOOM!

3rd Level...

BOOM!

4th, 5th, and finally the 6th!

Within seconds, Grey’s power soared to the peak of the Foundation Tempering Realm. While the path was different, his soul was already that of a 4th Rank being. There was no need to worry about the foundation unstable; he was simply reclaiming what was his.

”It is time for the Shattering Realm.”

Grey was particularly interested in this phase. There were no Hidden Rules of Evolution to strengthen his body here. Instead, the shattering process itself would force the three aspects to evolve, while his Soul Power increased alongside it.

The condition to enter was simple. To reach the Pseudo-Level of the Shattering Realm, he just needed to push all three aspects beyond their limits.

For the current Grey, that was as effortless as breathing.

Immediately, a window panel popped up in his vision.

Grey smiled when he saw it.

[Welcome to the Shattering Realm]

[Please choose your Evolutionary Path:]

[1. Physical Path] [2. Magical Path] [3. Energy Path] [4. All-Rounder Path] [5. Creator...]

There was a fifth option there. It was an option that only he, as the Creator, could see. Others reaching this window screen would only ever see four.

Grey did not hesitate. He directly chose The Creator.

The genetic limiter for the second metamorphosis broke effortlessly, and he entered the 1st Level of the Shattering Realm.

His body converged. A cocoon of Rebirth formed around him, woven from the very laws he had stolen from the Dao.

Then, the shattering began.

His Nexus Energy shattered first. Then his mind. Finally, his body cracked like porcelain.

Pain flooded his senses, but it was not the pain of death. It was the pain of forging. With the power of the Dao of Rebirth, he was rebuilt in an instant, stronger than ever before.

Grey did not stop there. He carried that momentum and shot directly towards the 2nd Level.

Then the 3rd.

4th.

5th.

And finally, the 6th!

His body shattered endlessly. There was pain, yes, but the endless power of Rebirth surged to meet it, elevating his powers to a completely new dimension. The Nexus Scripture did its work passively as thick, red-tinged Qi-Blood strands formed naturally within his body. They continuously elevated his physical power and essence, while his Mind Power and Soul Power expanded simultaneously.

The Soul Power, however, remained dormant. Aside from being utilized for direct soul attacks, there was no for it. Hence, it just accumulated silently.

And once he reached the peak, the genetic markings—which were originally twelve in the main world—shattered.

He compressed the data of twelve genetic markings into six.

While he was assimilating with the lesser heaven, he had gained access to the origin imprints at the 12th genetic marking.

Just like how Gods and True Dragons had their traits unlocked at the first genetic marking, he wanted to put them into the first and second genetic markings of his path.

First and second because one genetic marking couldn’t hold infinite information, so he distributed it evenly.

Into the First and Second Genetic Markings: He forcibly injected the Divine Weapon Manifestation and the Strength Amplification of the Primordial Human.

Into the First Genetic Marking specifically: He went even further. He incorporated the Modern Magic Origin Imprint, the Immortal Sovereign Physique, and the Abyssal Lord Transformation.

With them. his enlightenment would surge and His body became capable of naturally birthing Entropy Flames and manifesting the terrifying, corruptive traits of the deep void.

He was now effectively more of a ”True Abyssal Being” than the creatures actually born in the darkness. He wasn’t just a user of abyssal energy; he was a True Abyssal Lord.

With the assimilation complete, his external form shifted to match his internal perfection.

His horns transformed rapidly. The original draconic horns shifted, becoming sleek and streamlined. Complex, circuit-like patterns glowing with faint light formed along their length. They shrunk down, resembling two high-tech antennas sweeping back over his head. It looked neat, futuristic, and perfectly aligned with his face.

With that done, the foundation was set. It was time to take the final step.

The Golden Integration Nexus Realm!

”Previously, I hadn’t reached the threshold of the 3rd Rank without the lesser heaven. Now, I am directly crossing that threshold.”

Grey could already sense the genetic limiter. Even without the formal creation of the three Golden Aspects, his existence had already surpassed the boundaries of the rank.

The following moment, Grey’s presence attuned itself to the world.

BOOM!

The mansion he was in was immediately reduced to nothingness.

The material this mansion was created from was extremely dense stone; an ordinary 3rd Ranker wouldn’t even be able to break a wall completely.

Yet, the instant his power connected to the outside world, the matter simply gave up. It crumbled into fine dust, erased from existence.

”This much power...”

The Fragment hovered in the air, staring at the crater where a building used to be, utterly dumbfounded.
