Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 897: Chapter 898: Qin Jian’s Fury

During this time, he was burning with anxiety, not knowing if she had been frightened!

Fortunately, she was now in no danger, but had she encountered any trouble, the first person he couldn’t forgive would be himself.

He had no idea who this man before him was, but he was bold enough to kidnap An Hao brazenly.

The warriors who entered later secured An Hao safely, untying her and protecting her behind them.

A group of people stood there motionlessly, watching Qin Jian fight with the man before him.

”Qin Jian, stop fighting...” An Hao, afraid that Qin Jian would hurt himself in the fight, anxiously yelled from the side.

”You take her and go first,” Qin Jian growled.

The warrior blocking the doorway immediately took An Hao away from the scene.

”Why are all of you standing around doing nothing, go help him!” An Hao got upset upon seeing so many people, with none of them helping Qin Jian, and she angrily stomped her foot.

The man just now was definitely no ordinary man; the fact that his knife could fly past her face without harming her proved he was not someone average!

”Sister-in-law, there’s no need to worry. The Staff Officer is a former scout, and he won champion of the decathlon during the Northern Military Region’s comprehensive military contest,” the company commander from the scouts comforted An Hao.

”Ordinary people are not his match.”

”You won’t find many people in the entire military region who can, rest assured.”

An Hao, standing outside, heard the intense fighting going on inside.

Although she knew Qin Jian was very skilled, as his wife, it was impossible for her not to worry about her husband.

Inside the room, Luo Gang wielded a folding knife, striking out rapidly.

Qin Jian dodged his attacks swiftly, leaping into the air and kicking Luo Gang in the chest, causing both men to fall to the ground. He quickly rolled over and sprang to his feet with a carp flip.

”Your martial arts are not bad, and you have strong qualities in all aspects. I see the shadow of a soldier on you. If I’m not wrong, you should also be a scout,” Qin Jian had roughly gauged his opponent’s capabilities from their fight.

Luo Gang also got up, spitting out a mouthful of fresh blood and fiercely wiped his mouth, his sinister gaze falling on Qin Jian’s face: ”I haven’t harmed your wife. You can ask her; I didn’t even touch a fingertip.”

”It better be that way,” Qin Jian’s eyes were frosty. ”If you hurt her in the slightest, I’ll make you pay tenfold.”

Luo Gang snorted, a mocking smile on his lips: ”Can I leave now?”

”Of course not.” No matter what, Luo Gang had committed kidnapping, and Qin Jian had to arrest him according to the law and hand him over to the police station.

Seeing Qin Jian’s expression, Luo Gang knew that he definitely wouldn’t let him go.

”You can’t stop me.” Having said that, he leapt up to the windowsill and kicked the window open, escaping outside.

Qin Jian immediately followed through the window but, apart from seeing his own soldiers, there was no trace of the man.

His movements were rapid and agile; his martial arts were unusually fast!

”Where is he?” Qin Jian frowned, struggling to calm the fury in his chest.

”Our company commander has gone after him! Several warriors went with him too,” said a warrior from the scouts.

Qin Jian nodded, aware that it was very likely they wouldn’t catch him—the man was an exceptional scout!

Although they hadn’t captured the man, Qin Jian breathed a sigh of relief.

An Hao had been rescued without harm!

The moment Qin Jian stepped out of the broken house and saw An Hao waiting for him, his heart clenched, and he quickly moved forward to envelop her tightly in his arms: ”I was so afraid of losing you just now.”
