Self-disintegration did not signify death.

For Yu Zi Yu’s Azure Dragon Form, it was actually a true act of deceiving Heaven itself.

When countless lives fought for the Dragon Balls, leaving bloodshed and carnage in their wake, and finally gathered them all to summon the ‘Eternal Dragon’ and make their wishes. There, the Eternal Dragon, Yu Zi Yu’s Azure Dragon Form, would once again descend into the world.

At the same time, Yu Zi Yu’s Azure Dragon Form would also bear the Karma of all beings. And leveraging this Karma, even if Yu Zi Yu were to seize the Consciousness of Cosmic Source’ great fortunes and opportunities, he would not have to worry about being assimilated, for the Karma of all beings represented the power of the Human Dao.

And bound by the Human Dao, the Heavenly Dao would struggle to assimilate him.

As a price, Yu Zi Yu only needed to bestow a mere one-thousandth or even one-hundredth of the great fortunes he stole to the one who ‘Summon the Eternal Dragon.’

At that moment, Karma would shift, and the one carrying the Karma would be the summoner.

Of course, there were some restrictions. For instance, after each summoning, Yu Zi Yu’s Azure Dragon would need time to digest the fortune it had seized and undergo metamorphosis.

During this period, Azure Dragon could not be summoned.

The Dragon Balls would become no different from plain stones. Even if all nine were gathered, they would not be able to summon him.

Moreover, the wishes themselves would have certain limits.

Naturally, those limits were naturally something that could not exceed Azure Dragon’s own strength.

So long as the wish did not exceed Yu Zi Yu’s power, things like reversing aging, enhancing strength, or maintaining eternal youth should be easily achievable.

Simply because the power was not purely Yu Zi Yu’s, but rather borrowed from the Heavenly Dao of the Universe.

Whatever the Heavenly Dao of the Universe could do, Yu Zi Yu’s Azure Dragon could also accomplish.

This was the truly terrifying part of his grand plan. He was stealing the authority of the Universe’s Heavenly Dao.

He would be able to do almost anything, but not everything.

Through repeated thefts, Yu Zi Yu’s Azure Dragon Form would constantly evolve.

Now, he was only at Tier-6, but if everything proceeded as Yu Zi Yu envisioned, after a few successful wishes, his Azure Dragon Form could step into Tier-7, even rivaling that of Half-Step Eternals.

However, there was a price, no matter how powerful Azure Dragon became, it could never attack other beings.

It was merely a chess piece for Yu Zi Yu. A vessel to steal the fortunes and opportunities.

If he attacked others, it would upset the balance of the Heavenly Dao.

In other words, it would alert the Universe’s Heavenly Dao to his existence.

Of course, this did not mean that Azure Dragon’s strength was meaningless.

Thanks to the One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones cultivated by Yu Zi Yu, whether it was Azure Dragon or the Purple Dragon, no matter who got stronger, their strength would directly bolster Yu Zi Yu’s True Body.

By continuously drawing upon their strength through the mysterious link they shared, Yu Zi Yu could strengthen himself.

If Azure Dragon and Purple Dragon attained the Great Dao, Yu Zi Yu’s main body would grow at an astonishing speed.

Perhaps when the first true Hegemon was born in the universe, Yu Zi Yu, borrowing the power of his Azure Dragon and Purple Dragon, would have already stepped into the Half-Step Eternal Realm.

This was Yu Zi Yu’s grand plan: To walk ahead of all others.

Only by walking ahead of others, only by possessing strength that would allow him to steamroll through the Myriad Races, could Yu Zi Yu truly eliminate the greed and covetousness of the world.

After all, he was a Divine Tree who was seeking to attain Dao.

If one day catastrophe befell him, the number of beings who would strike against him would likely be beyond imagination.

Thus, Yu Zi Yu must grow faster than anyone else.

While others had reached Tier-6, Yu Zi Yu had already achieved Seventh Order in Physical Evolution.

When others became Tier-7 Hegemons, Yu Zi Yu would already be a Half-Step Eternal.

Only in this way could he remain unafraid of sieges…

Only through overwhelming combat power could he fear nothing.

*Hoooo…* Exhaling a long, deep breath, Yu Zi Yu’s anticipation for Azure Dragon’s growth only grew stronger.

This was the unique path he had found for Azure Dragon: To bear the Karma of all beings, steal the fortunes and opportunities from the Heavenly Dao, and in turn, feed his True Body.

However, only Yu Zi Yu dared to walk such a perilous path.

If it were anyone else, who would dare risk self-disintegration and bet on that one-in-a-billion chance of fortune?

But Yu Zi Yu was different.

Azure Dragon Form was merely one of his clones, and his True Body possessed far more terrifying strength, deeper foundations.

He could easily orchestrate everything from the shadows.

For instance, if the world struggled to find the Dragon Balls, Yu Zi Yu could simply create instruments capable of locating them.

In this way, the collection of the Dragon Balls would become inevitable.

Moreover, even if someone maliciously destroyed a Dragon Ball, Yu Zi Yu could simply craft another one.

In other words, Yu Zi Yu’s True Body had become the protector of Azure Dragon, guarding it solely to safeguard the Dao he sought to prove.

Though, ultimately, it was still for his own sake.

Chuckling silently to himself, Yu Zi Yu suddenly recalled something important.

“Hopefully… no fool will carry the Dragon Balls beyond the Solar System.”

Yu Zi Yu could not help but feel a bit helpless and heave a soft sigh.

After all, his Azure Dragon Form was only at Tier-6. Its power projection was limited, roughly covering only the entirety of the Solar System.

However, if Azure Dragon continued to evolve, it could potentially radiate its power across the Milky Way or even the entire universe.

It all depended on how powerful Yu Zi Yu’s Azure Dragon became.

Thus, if a Dragon Ball were taken outside the Solar System, it would turn into a useless stone. By then, Yu Zi Yu would either have to retrieve it or painstakingly craft a new vessel to bear Azure Dragon’s power.

Either way, it would be a costly endeavor.

Naturally, Yu Zi Yu hoped no such fool would appear.

This was a game he could only play within the confines of the Solar System.

Maybe… one day, he could extend his ‘Summon the Eternal Dragon’ game across the entire universe, but certainly, that day was not today.

…

Just then, as if sensing something, Yu Zi Yu’s gaze shifted slightly.

And the next moment, what entered his sight was the astonished figure of Anzuiel.

“He… self-dissolved just like that?” Anzuiel mumbled in a disbelieving voice, growing shocked and astounded even more.

He found the entire thing completely ridiculous?

A Half-Step Hegemon equivalent, the Heavenly Dao Dragon, had just self-dissolved?

Granted, it was for the sake of attaining the Dao, but that kind of determination was far too terrifying.

In all his long life, this was the first time Anzuiel had witnessed someone so ruthless to themselves.

“Is it that surprising?” Yu Zi Yu chuckled softly, a playful expression appearing on Yu Zi Yu’s face.

“Uh…” Anzuiel momentarily froze, the corner of his eyes twitching non-stop.

Clearly, he had noticed Yu Zi Yu’s amused gaze lingering on him.

“I-I… I did try to persuade him… but who knew he’d be so impulsive? One word about self-disintegration and he really went through with it…”

“…”

“I can only say… he’s a true seeker of the Dao. He is willing to sacrifice everything, even his life, for the sake of proving it.”

Listening to Anzuiel’s somewhat nervous voice, Yu Zi Yu could not help but chuckle.

Apparently, Anzuiel had truly been startled, and even felt a little guilty.

After all, from his perspective, a mere casual remark of his had driven one of Yu Zi Yu’s Half-Step Hegemon to voluntarily disintegrate itself.

Even if Yu Zi Yu held no blame, Anzuiel was bound to feel guilty.

Unfortunately., the matter of Azure Dragon was Yu Zi Yu’s own secret, something he could not reveal.

It concerned the Eternal Dao he sought to prove.

No outsiders could be allowed to know.

Thus, Anzuiel would have to continue misunderstanding.

“It’s fine, this is the path he chose, I support him.” Yu Zi Yu offered a word of comfort, his gaze lifting toward the Heavens, growing even deeper and more profound.
