To the public, the ones who stood at the pinnacle beneath Yu Zi Yu’s command were clear to all—Nine Tails, Sarcosuchus, and Lightning Dragon. All were Half-Step Overlords.

However, deep in the shadows, away from the prying eyes, none of the other Divine Beasts were any lesser.

Take, for instance, Thorns, who remained secluded in the depths of the Tree World, unseen, or the one who commanded the winds and storms in the Society of Demons and Fiends, White Tiger, they too were Half-Step Overlords.

However, few knew of this truth.

Thorns was a phantom, a name spoken only in riddles. Her appearances were so rare that even those closest to Yu Zi Yu had only vague knowledge of her.

As for White Tiger, the so-called ‘Third Divine Beast’ under Yu Zi Yu’s banner, also remained hidden in the darkest of the shadows. Even those who dared to guess would find no confirmation. Until the day the Demon Court itself acknowledged it, speculation would remain just that—speculation.

Much like the Society of Demons and Fiends itself.

Was it truly a Force under the Demon Court? Or an independent Force shrouded in darkness?

The world did not know. Theories abounded. Rumors flourished.

Only one moment stood beyond doubt: Golden Ant, during the battle that shook the stars, called Yu Zi Yu ‘Master.’

And in the wake of that revelation, neither the Demon Court nor the Society of Demons and Fiends offered any explanation.

Instead, they chose silence.

At the thought of this, Yu Zi Yu could not help but chuckle in his heart. He was not too concerned about this.

[Let them speculate. Sometimes, mystery serves as a weapon sharper than any blade. If the veil of enigma could cloak the Demon Court and the Society of Demons and Fiends, then so be it. After all, when had the Demon Court ever needed to explain itself?

And the Society of Demons and Fiends, known across the realms as a Force of pure evil, walking its own path, owed no answers to anyone.

Just as these thoughts crossed Yu Zi Yu’s mind, a sudden roar echoed across the sky.

*Rooooaaar…* A Lightning Dragon’s roar split Heaven.

Looking to the horizon, Yu Zi Yu’s gaze narrowed.

There, cutting through the clouds like a comet of destruction, was a colossal form. With his wings outstretched, spanning across Heaven, he blotted out the Sun itself.

Lightning danced across his wings, forming arcane patterns that pulsed with volatile power. His horns, sharp and menacing, pierced the sky like two jagged spears of judgment. Between them, great white bolts of lightning—thicker than a man’s torso—crackled violently.

His entire form was sleek, streamlined like a falling star, radiating an awe-inspiring, savage beauty.

This was Little Tenth, also known as the Infernal Lightning Dragon, whose name had already begun to reverberate across the stars.

He bore the word ‘Infernal’ like a crown, soaring through the Starry Sky with power unmatched among his kind.

Of course, Little Tenth’s Bloodline had only partially evolved. Though most of his essence had transformed, he had not yet fully awakened to become a true Infernal Lightning Dragon.

It was the most superior Bloodline among the Dragon Race’s noblest lineages, It was equal in majesty to the likes of Three-Headed Demonic Dragon and the Six-Winged Radiant Dragon.

A being whose existence could scarcely be described in Mortal terms.

According to ancient lore, wherever the true Infernal Lightning Dragon passed by, it brought a world of lightning with it.

Dark clouds roiled through the skies…

Bolts of lightning tore through the starry void.

The world plunged into an apocalyptic storm, seemingly ushering the end of the world.

That was the might of the Infernal Lightning Dragon, a harbinger of Destruction.

But currently, Little Tenth’s current power was still a step behind.

Still, Yu Zi Yu smiled. With a gentle flick of a branch, he tossed a brilliant crystal into the air, one that crackled with bolts of lightning.

That was Tier-6 Lightning Crystal, harvested from the King of Lightning.

“Master, this is…?” Little Tenth’s voice trembled in surprise. And the moment the radiant mass of lightning drew near, his pupils contracted.

He could feel it that this ball of lightning was a pure collection of Lightning Energy.

It was the convergence of boundless lightning, raw and unfiltered, stirring something deep in his Bloodline.

A primal hunger awakened within him, surging up from his very core.

Greed.

Desire.

He had never felt it this strongly, so much so that it was quite visible on his face.

“Refine it,” Yu Zi Yu said with a light laugh. “Step into Tier-6… and then come see me.”

Little Tenth’s eyes widened, a rare flicker of disbelief crossing his draconic features, but Yu Zi Yu offered no explanation.

The Tier-6 Lightning Crystal had been prepared for him all along.

After all, Little Tenth was a Lightning Dragon. Later, he devoured the Lightning Elemental Fruit, causing his Lightning Innate Talent to undergo a fundamental metamorphosis.

And now, should Little Tenth succeed in refining this crystal, that contained the Spiritual Energy of the King of Lightning and his comprehension of lightning, then his transformation would no longer be mere theory. It would become reality.

In that moment, the being Yu Zi Yu had long awaited, the true Infernal Lightning Dragon, would descend upon the Starry Sky in all his terrifying glory.

It should be noted that in the Western Sector, a proud and arrogant creature, whose very presence cast a long shadow across the Starry Sky, had emerged: the Nether Dragon Serpent.

A being from the Ancestral Dragon Court, a Tier-6 Overlord, who Yu Zi Yu held in the highest regard.

His strength was suffocating, even eerie and otherworldly.

Even among other Tier-6s, few could last a single exchange with him.

In all the Western Sector, only a scarce few could stand against him without being crushed.

And such a creature was deserving of the title of Heaven’s Favored, one of the most supreme prodigies the stars had birthed.

Of course, Yu Zi Yu himself was the exception.

He no longer belonged to the same plane of existence as these so-called prodigies.

However, the reason for Nether Dragon Serpent’s terrifying might was no mystery—it stemmed from his lineage as one of the topmost Superior Dragons of the Dragon Clan.

And the Infernal Lightning Dragon, a legend among legends, was said to rival even him.

In terms of sheer destruction and oppressive dominance, the Infernal Lightning Dragon was even stronger by several degrees.

Thus, if Little Tenth’s Bloodline completed its evolution, he would no doubt stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the greatest prodigies in the cosmos.

As for combat prowess, he would stand unrivaled in his Tier.

A faint smile curled upon Yu Zi Yu’s lips as the thought passed through him.

His anticipation grew.

…

Shortly after, as Little Tenth’s vast silhouette disappeared into the horizon, Yu Zi Yu turned his attention to the last fruits of his harvest.

Beyond the obvious trophies of war, two abilities had caught his eye.

The first was drawn from the King of Lightning, the Lightning Heart..

Lightning Heart — Stores the overflow of Lightning Energy. When needed, it beats like a heart, supplementing the user’s strength in moments of exhaustion.
It was a very practical ability.

For most cultivators of lightning, it was a precious salvation. It eased the strain of high-intensity battles, where stamina burned like paper in a wildfire.

But for Yu Zi Yu? It was… unimpressive.

After all, he possessed both the Divine Lightning Tree and the Immortal Tree.

In terms of endurance, few in the universe could compare to him.

This crystal heart, though clever, was little more than a novelty in his eyes.

However, the second ability, drawn from the Nether God, stirred something deeper.

“Resurrection of the Dead…” he whispered, his eyes narrowing slightly.

Resurrection of the Undead — Call forth the fallen. From blood-soaked fields and forgotten graves, summon them again to fight once more for their new Master.
It was an ability of corpse manipulation.

But in Yu Zi Yu’s hands, it became something far more terrifying.

At his current level of power, he could rouse the dead across an entire planet.

Of course, these revenants held no memory of life. What remained was instinct—raw, primal, and violent.

Even so, there was value.

The more intact the corpse, the greater its strength.

A complete corpse of a Tier-5 could exert 10-80% of its former might.

An incomplete one? Perhaps a tenth, if that.

“It may come useful on some occasion,” Yu Zi Yu murmured, visibly pleased.

In future battles, should his Forces fall short, this ability could swell his army to impossible numbers.

To put it simply, it was an ability to adapt to a large battlefield.

And perhaps, one day, Yu Zi Yu might even forge an entire legion with it.

A legion pulled from myth. A Force known in whispers and nightmares,. The Undead Legion… an Undead Disaster.

[This seemed to be the signature legion of the Netherborns.]

A smirk played on Yu Zi Yu’s lips as this thought bloomed.

To wield an ability that could birth an entire legion was to hold a hidden blade. If unsheathed at the right time, it would have a very devastating effect.
