Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1528: Heavenly Fiend Demon Race

”Haha,” Sha Mo pulled the woman onto his lap and kissed her. ”Why should I kill that witch, Sha Yuan? The number of the witch demon race isn’t that significant now, and they possess many abilities that are useful to us. Although Wu Han isn’t as skilled as Wu Zu, she’s second only to her as a witch, and she managed to do something to Shang Zhanluo, so I won’t kill her.”

Sha Yuan narrowed her eyes at him before sighing softly. ”How about you give Wu Han to our son?”

”No,” Sha Mo immediately refused. ”Even though I need Wu Han to smooth out my plans, I don’t want a witch like her in my demon race. She is worthy enough to be asked to work together, but she is not worthy to be by our son’s side. Women like Qi Qingxiu, Ye Mingran, or Nalan Shizhe are much more worthy of accompanying him.”

”I never liked Nalan Shizhe and Ye Mingran, and I wanted to kill those two damn bitches.” Sha Mo smiled bitterly at Sha Yuan’s furious expression, but he knew exactly why his wife hated the two female demon gods so much. ”Compared to them, Qi Qingxiu is more suitable to accompany our son because he has never been with any man before. Unfortunately, Qiongxi is infatuated with him, and he has ambitions to marry her. You and our demon race are strong, but it’s impossible for you to defeat that evil mythical beast, especially if his three friends help him.”

Sha Mo nodded his head slightly, as he himself realized the difference in strength between him and the four perils. Even though he was a demon god and his cultivation had reached the Celestial God Realm, the four perils were stronger than him because they were demon beasts, and their beast ranks had already exceeded the mythical rank. ”I may not be able to defeat them now, but I may be able to defeat them in the future. After that, I will attack the other races, and I will start with the winged race.”

”I hate Tian Qiye! She killed my second son, but I can’t take revenge on that bitch. I hate Long Wuzhao more because he repeatedly interfered in our affairs, and he stopped us from killing her several times.” Sha Yuan looked at her husband. ”I think you don’t need to kill Shang Zhanluo, and we can use him to cause a commotion in the Dragon-Soaring Divine Domain. When that hateful dragon emperor is off guard, we will seize the opportunity to kill him, and I will use his body parts as decoration for our palace.”

”I understand your wishes, but you underestimate Long Wuzhao too much.” Sha Mo released a soft sigh before continuing. ”If you believe that Shang Zhanluo is sufficient to make the dragon emperor panic and lower his guard, then you are mistaken about his capabilities. If he was that weak, Mo Shentian, Qian Yan, and the four perils would have attacked the Dragon-Soaring Divine Domain first. In fact, they fear him even though they have an advantage in numbers, so I’m sure he hasn’t shown his true strength all this time, and they know that his true strength is more terrifying than he has ever shown.”

”Is it true that Long Wuzhao is much stronger than he has shown so far?”

”Even if the ten demon gods work together to attack Long Wuzhao using all our strength, we will still lose to him.” Sha Yuan was still skeptical of it, even though her husband said it with a serious expression. ”Besides, he still has Long Xukong and Tianshi Bailong by his side, and those two dragons are no less powerful than him. The former is a Void Dragon, and no demon has a void element. The latter is a Celestial Dragon, and his light element is second only to the Winged Race. They choose to recognize him as their emperor, and they always act according to his orders.”

”So, what should we do to take revenge for Tian Qiye and Long Wuzhao?”

Sha Mo shook his head in reply. ”I want to kill them, but Long Wuzhao is still too strong for me, and I heard that Tian Qiye’s angelic rank has already risen to the True Divine, allowing him to become the leader of the Winged Race. That’s why we have to be patient for now, and we will move after I succeed in becoming the leader of all demon races.”

”Sigh.”

*Tap... Tap...*

Sha Mo and Sha Yuan looked in the direction of the footsteps, looking at their son, Sha Huo. ”Father! Mother! I’m back.”

”How was your adventure out there? Did the other cultivators recognize your disguise?”

Sha Huo shook his head at his mother. ”Not a single cultivator from other races recognized my disguise, Mother. By the way, while I was adventuring outside, I heard about a human sect, and I heard it was inhabited by members of all races.”

”A sect inhabited by members of all races?”

”Humans, demihumans, demons, beasts, and winged races.”

Sha Mo and Sha Yuan exchanged looks of shock because this was their first time hearing about such a sect. ”What is the name of the sect? Which domain is the sect located in?”

”The Moonlit Passion Temple from the Twin Flames Main Domain.” Sha Mo and Sha Yuan were not familiar with the name of the sect, but they were familiar with the name of the domain. ”According to what I heard, they are the best dual cultivation sect in that domain right now, and I previously tried to go to that domain to check on the sect. Unfortunately, I couldn’t move freely there, so I abandoned my intention and came back here.”

”What’s preventing you from moving there?”

Sha Huo immediately created a qi screen and displayed the situation in the Twin Flames Main Domain, allowing his parents to see everything for themselves. ”There are too many formations in that domain, including flight restriction formations. The Moonlit Passion Temple is in the sky, so we have to fly to reach it. Perhaps there is a teleportation portal to go to that sect, but I don’t know its location, and the forest is filled with various formations, including misleading and illusion formations.”

Sha Mo and Sha Yuan looked at the qi screen and thoughtfully observed everything displayed there. The dense forest that covered the entire area of the Twin Flames Main Domain shocked them. However, they remembered that the Twin Flames Main Domain hadn’t been the same the last time they went there, and they believed such drastic changes were impossible.

”Have you tried entering the forest in that domain, Son?”

”No, Father,” Sha Huo explained. ”Although I’m not an array master, I still know the power of every formation, and all the formations in that forest are powerful, so I abandoned my intention to enter. Moreover, I sensed the presence of many powerful beasts in that forest, and I suspect they are sensor-type beasts placed there to monitor everyone who enters the domain.”

”If the Moonlit Passion Temple is the strongest in the domain, I’m sure they were the ones who installed all those formations.” Sha Mo agreed with his wife. ”But who helped that sect turn the domain into a dense forest? Who helped them install all those formations? They’re a dual cultivation sect, so I’m sure they don’t have people with such abilities.”

Sha Huo immediately spoke to her mother. ”Mother, the Moonlit Passion Temple is no longer a dual cultivation sect, but it has become a universal sect. In fact, I heard news about that sect from their elders recruiting new disciples in other domains, and they mentioned that their sect already has many halls, including the Array Hall. Unfortunately, they didn’t mention the higher-ups of their sect who were in charge of each hall, so I don’t know their identities.”

”Do you think we should investigate the sect and the domain ourselves, husband?” Sha Mo looked at Sha Yuan. ”With your strength, I’m sure you can break through those formations, and we will find out how far they have changed. If they’ve gotten much stronger, we may be able to use them for some purposes, and people won’t be suspicious of them.”

Sha Mo shook his head at his wife. ”Do you think a dual cultivation sect could change so drastically without the help of powerful cultivators?”

”Then—”

”Empress Huo Yanling.”

Sha Mo and Sha Yuan looked at their son in shock. ”Are you sure about that, Son?”

Sha Huo nodded at his parents. ”Mother, I heard from people in other domains that the Moonlit Passion Temple is under Empress Huo’s protection, and she has even announced that she will destroy anyone who dares to trouble the sect.”

Sha Mo and Sha Yuan had already heard about Feng Yao’s return, and they had also heard about the actions of the women from the Blazing Nirvana Domain a few months ago. They heard that those women had slaughtered everyone who had disturbed their sect during her absence, which had struck fear into everyone’s hearts.

”I have an idea about that sect.”

”Tell us.”

”Since that sect accepts all races to join them, I thought I’d try going to another domain and registering as their disciple, and—”

”No! I forbid you from doing that,” Sha Yuan shouted at her son. ”You are our only son now, and you are the heir of our demon race, so I won’t allow you to take any risks.”
