Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1524: Shang Luohu - Shang Xueli

Tianshi Shengjie put his arm around Shang Xueli’s shoulders and explained to Zhang Xiaolong [3] about the Asura Demon Princess’s hope to meet her mother. ”I know your plan and your reasons for locking her up in this place, but you can at least give her a chance to meet her mother, and you can bring her back here after they meet. After all, she has been a prisoner of the Celestial Demon Race for a long time, so I can understand her longing for her family.”

Zhang Xiaolong [3] naturally understood Shang Xueli’s feelings, but he didn’t want to risk bringing her back to the Slaughter Blood Domain to meet Shang Luohu. He was worried that Shang Zhanluo would notice his daughter’s presence and end his seclusion to save her, and he was not ready to face the Asura Demon God with his current strength.

”What if you meet them somewhere else?”

”Where?”

”The Ashen Lotus Monastery.” Zhang Xiaolong [3] thought of that place. ”That domain is where the giant Yin-Yang Lotus resides, and no one can enter it except you. I think it would be fine if you take Shang Luohu there, and Shang Xueli can reunite with her mother there, so you don’t have to risk facing Shang Zhanluo.”

[Master, I think Tianshi Shengjie’s idea is quite good, and the two souls of the giant Yin-Yang Lotus can help you suppress Shang Luohu. She won’t be able to do anything to you, let alone take her daughter away from you.]

Zhang Xiaolong [3] nodded slightly and opened the gate to the domain. ”Go in first, and I’ll pick up Shang Luohu afterward.”

”Let’s go.” Tianshi Shengjie pulled Shang Xueli to her feet and disappeared into the gate.

Zhang Xiaolong [3] quickly got dressed, but he did not rush out of the training space. He asked his two wives, Xie Jingxian and Ba Shuxiang, to get dressed and go to that domain. After the two women left, he came out of the training space and went to the Slaughter Blood Domain.

Shang Luohu, who was relaxing in her chamber, was surprised by the voice transmission from Zhang Xiaolong [3]. ”Why did he come here and ask me to meet him at this hour? Moreover, he didn’t explain his reasons to me, and he forbade me to bring Shang Zhui with me.”

After thinking seriously about the situation, Shang Luohu immediately got out of bed and changed her clothes, as she couldn’t possibly meet him in her nightgown. She then went to meet Zhang Xiaolong [3].

Within a few minutes, Shang Luohu had already arrived in front of Zhang Xiaolong [3], who immediately opened the gate to the Ashen Lotus Monastery. ”Go inside now.”

”What—”

”I won’t hurt you or anything, and you’ll be happy once you get there.” Shang Luohu was suspicious of Zhang Xiaolong [3] because he wouldn’t explain anything to her, and she feared that the place behind the gate was a trap for her. ”If you don’t enter now, I might change my mind, and you will regret the opportunity before you.”

Shang Luohu sighed and entered the gate, followed by Zhang Xiaolong [3], who immediately closed it.

The next moment, Shang Zhui and Shang Dongzhu appeared on the scene. ”Are you sure it’s okay for us to let our Empress go with that kid?”

”She’ll be fine.” Shang Dongzhu was confused by Shang Zhui’s confidence toward Zhang Xiaolong [3]. ”Our Empress is stronger than you, remember? I don’t know where that kid took her, but I’m sure he has no bad intentions toward her. Even if he does, I’m sure that our empress can defeat him and come back here.”

”I hope you’re right.” Shang Dongzhu looked towards the Asura Palace. ”If anything happens to our empress, our emperor will immediately come out of his seclusion, and he will attack the Twin Flames Main Domain and the Moonlit Passion Temple. Our demon race has not attacked one of the human domains for a long time, and our movements will alert many cultivators, including Long Wuzhao and Empress Huo.”

Shang Zhui agreed with that. ”I’m sure our empress will return safely, so you don’t need to worry about her.”

”Let’s go back.”

Zhang Xiaolong [3] looked at Shang Luohu and Shang Xueli for a moment, but he did not disturb them and took his two wives away with him toward the main area, where the giant Yin-Yang Lotus was located.

Tianshi Shengjie did not join Zhang Xiaolong [3] and his two wives because she had been trapped in the main area in the past, and she had to see his other clone naked because of it. Instead, she went to the lake in the eastern area of the Ashen Lotus Monastery, where the female ice phoenix cultivated.

”Mother.” Shang Luohu turned around before freezing in place, and her body trembled violently after she saw Shang Xueli. ”Mother, I have missed you for so long, and I can finally meet you now.”

Shang Luohu didn’t react when Shang Xueli hugged him, as he still thought he was dreaming. However, she could feel the warmth of her daughter’s body, and she slowly wrapped her arms around her. ”Xueli...Is this really you?”

”It’s me, Mother.” Shang Xueli hugged her mother tighter. ”I miss you, Mother.”

”Xueli... My daughter...” Shang Luohu cried so hard after realizing that Shang Xueli was not an illusion, and she hugged her very tightly as if she was afraid of losing her again. ”Xueli... you finally came back to me...”

Shang Xueli felt truly happy to be able to hug her mother again. ”I’m back, Mother.”

”I... I’m glad you’re safe and back to me, Xueli.” Shang Luohu released her daughter from her arms and grabbed her face. ”Are... are you okay? Did Zhang Fei treat you well?”

”Yes.” Shang Xueli wiped away her mother’s tears. ”Zhang Fei never restricted my movements, and he always treated me well. I knew all his wives, and they didn’t mind my presence in their place. Moreover, I trained to strengthen myself there ever since he took me away from the Celestial Race Domain, and I’ve become a little stronger now.”

Shang Luohu nodded slightly. ”How long have you been with them?”

”This.” Shang Xueli was confused about answering her mother because the flow of time in the training space was four times faster than the outside world. ”I’m not sure how long I’ve lived with them, Mother.”

”How could you not know how long you stayed with them?”

Shang Xueli sighed inwardly. ”I can’t explain the truth to you because Zhang Fei forbade me from telling anyone, Mother. The most important thing is that I’m healthy and safe, so you don’t need to worry about my condition anymore. However, I can’t return to our domain yet, and we must wait for my father’s decision before we can be together again.”

Shang Luohu was curious about that, but she realized that her daughter couldn’t tell her anything. She wanted to be reunited with her daughter immediately, but she knew that Zhang Fei would never let her daughter return to her. The only way for them to be reunited was to persuade her husband, but she knew that Shang Zhanluo would never bow to anyone, which complicated their situation.

”Xueli, I—” Shang Luohu wanted to say something, but she and Shang Xueli were suddenly transported to another place, where they saw the giant Yin-Yang Lotus. ”Hmm?”

Shang Luohu and Shang Xueli were shocked when they saw Zhang Xiaolong [3] and his two wives already naked inside the giant Yin-Yang Lotus, with a white thread and two black threads connecting them to the lotus.

Unlike Shang Xueli, who was accustomed to seeing Zhang Fei and his clones naked, Shang Luohu felt embarrassed by the sight. Before they could react, two black threads shot out from the black section of the lotus and wrapped around their waists, pulling them into it.

”Shit!” Shang Luohu cursed as her dress melted by itself, leaving her naked. She couldn’t do anything as the lotus pulled her soul out of her body, and it began to absorb her soul power, shocking her. She tried to stop it, but her efforts were unsuccessful, and the lotus continued to absorb it.

The same thing happened to Shang Xueli; her dress melted by itself, and the lotus slowly absorbed her soul power.

”Don’t worry, let the lotus absorb your soul power.” Shang Luohu and Shang Xueli turned to Zhang Xiaolong [3], who had his eyes closed. ”This lotus is the guardian of the balance of this universe, but it is in a weak state now, and it needs our soul powers to strengthen itself. Moreover, the lotus will not absorb all your soul power, and it will stop on its own when it feels it has enough, so you don’t need to resist it.

Shang Luohu didn’t refute Zhang Xiaolong [3] because she could feel that the lotus was absorbing her soul power very slowly, so it wouldn’t cause any problems for her. However, she felt uncomfortable being naked in front of another man, but she was powerless to escape because the lotus bound her waist and absorbed her soul power.

Unlike her, Shang Xueli didn’t think much of her situation, and she allowed the lotus to absorb her soul power.

Shang Luohu covered her naked body with her hands and legs. ”What exactly is this lotus? Why is it in this domain?”

”This lotus is the Ying-Yang Lotus, and this universe will be destroyed without it.”
