Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1517: Elders’ Idea

Qing Qiu’er sat opposite Xiao Laoshu and informed her of Zhang Fei’s decision. ”What do you think about that? If you don’t want to go to their sect, we won’t force you to go, and we’ll find another candidate to fill the spot.”

”Hmm?” Xiao Laoshu turned to Tian Yishen at her side. ”What do you think about that? Should I go to the Celestial Moon Sect?”

Tian Yishen nodded at her. ”You’ve learned medical techniques for thousands of years, and your skills in this field have already matched mine. It’s time for you to spread your wings, and that sect is the best choice for you because it’s a women-only sect. Moreover, you can come back to this sect whenever you want, so you can come back here when you miss me or need my help.”

”You’re right,” Xiao Laoshu immediately gave her answer to Qing Qiu’er. ”I will go to that sect together with Nanfeng Yunxi and Yan Yinqing, but when will we leave?”

Qing Qiu’er thought for a while. ”Since the three of you have agreed, I will contact Yue Xuelian now. Her three disciples are ready to move to our sect, so I think the three of you can move there as soon as possible.”

”If so, I’ll go back and get ready now, so we can leave anytime.” Xiao Laoshu immediately left the two of them to pack.

Tian Yishen looked at Xiao Laoshu and sighed. She had helped him for thousands of years, so he felt heavy about parting with her. Despite his feelings, he didn’t stop her, and he hoped that she would become a better healer in the future.

”Don’t worry, Laoshu will be fine in the Celestial Moon Sect.”

”Yes,” Tian Yishen nodded to Qing Qiu’er. ”Laoshu is a smart and sociable girl, and there are only women in that sect, so I’m sure she’ll be fine there. Perhaps, she’ll be an even better healer if she leaves my side, and I can’t wait for the day she surpasses me.”

”I’ll go meet our elders now.”

”Yes.”

Qing Qiu’er had arrived at the main hall, and several female elders were waiting for her there. ”Soon, three disciples from the Celestial Moon Sect will come to our sect for a disciple exchange program, and I will be entering seclusion with Zhang Fei and the others. I’ll leave the three of them to you all, and you must take excellent care of them. This will be the beginning of a relationship between the two sects, and I hope it will pave the way for us to recruit more disciples in the future.”

”Who will join our sect, Sect Master? Who will we send to the Celestial Moon Sect?” Fang Roulan asked.

”From the Celestial Moon Sect, Yue Xuelian decided to send Yue Liangyu, Yue Liuxian, and Yue Bingxuan.” The elders were surprised to hear the first name because they knew she was the caretaker of the Moon Tower. ”From our sect, I will send Nanfeng Yunxi, Yan Yinqing, and Xiao Laoshi. We will also open an alchemy shop in their domain, and Nanfeng Yunxi will manage the shop, assisted by disciples from their sect.”

The female elders nodded in understanding, and they were also pleased that their sect could establish a relationship with the Celestial Moon Sect, something that had never happened in the past because their sect was a dual cultivation sect.

Then, Yin Huayan spoke to Qing Qiu’er. ”Sect Master, what do you think about changing our sect’s name? As long as the image of a dual cultivation sect persists, we will always have difficulty finding new disciples, so we are considering changing our sect’s name.”

Qing Qiu’er raised an eyebrow upon hearing that because the name of the Moonlit Passion Sect was left behind by the past leaders, and she had never once thought about changing the name of their sect. However, she was aware that their sect would never progress if they still used the same name, and that had been proven by their activities to recruit new disciples in the last few months, which only produced a few new disciples.

Qing Qiu’er wanted her sect to become more advanced and bigger because they had worked hard to improve everything, and they had built many halls, including recruiting people from various races. ”I will discuss this matter with Zhang Fei first because he prefers to avoid recruiting too many disciples, especially those lacking the ambition to improve. He only wants to recruit those who have steadfastness in cultivation and high ambitions to improve themselves, so our efforts will be fruitful.”

The female elders understood Zhang Fei’s wishes because they also had the same wishes as him, and they wanted their sect to develop further, especially after the significant changes they had made. ”Please discuss this matter with him and persuade him, Sect Master.”

”I will.” After the female elders left, Qing Qiu’er contacted Yue Xuelian, informing her of Zhang Fei’s wishes, especially about the building for their alchemy shop.

Thereafter, Qing Qiu’er returned to the mountaintop and awaited Yue Xuelian’s reply, as she needed to discuss the building matter with her sect elders.

After speaking with Qing Qiu’er, Yue Xuelian asked Yue Liangyu, Yue Liuxian, and Yue Bingxuan to prepare to go to the Moonlit Passion Temple. She then went to see Yue Qianrou in her room.

”Why are you here, Big Sis?”

”Qing Qiu’er has already selected three disciples to join our sect.” Yue Xuelian sat beside her and explained to her about Nanfeng Yunxi, Yan Yinqing, and Xiao Laoshi. ”In addition, she hopes that we can provide an empty building for their alchemy shop, and Nanfeng Yunxi will be in charge of the shop. I will assign Yue Mingyi to assist her since they are both alchemists, and our disciples can learn about alchemy from her.”

”Even though we’ve agreed to establish a relationship with their sect, we can’t let them move around unsupervised, Big Sis.” Yue Qianrou tried to remember a few things. ”We can give them the empty southern building for their alchemy shop, which will make it easier for us to monitor them. Moreover, the building is quite large, so it’s suitable for a shop, and we’ll spread the news to the residents of this domain once they open their shop.”

”You’re right,” Yue Xuelian agreed with her, and she immediately contacted Qing Qiu’er, informing her of their decision regarding the shop. ”She said there’s no problem with it, and she’ll send one of her sect’s alchemy gods to arrange the shop.”

”I think it’s good.” Yue Qianrou then asked her. ”So, when will they come here? When will our disciples leave for their sect?”

Yue Xuelian considered it first. ”I think Yue Liangyu, Yue Liuxian, and Yue Bingxuan can leave for the Moonlit Passion Sect today. As for their disciples, they will probably wait a few days because the alchemy god needs some preparations for the shop, so their three disciples will come here at the same time as her.”

”I don’t think it’s a problem.” Yue Qianrou immediately contacted one of their sect’s elders. ”I’ve asked Yue Wanxian to lead several disciples to clean up the building so that their alchemy god can arrange everything straight away, and she can open the shop faster.”

”I hope the cooperation between the two sects will bring many benefits to us.” Yue Xuelian immediately stood up from her seat, but Yue Qianrou grabbed her hand. ”Is there something you want to talk to me about?”

Yue Qianrou pulled Yue Xuelian to lie on the bed, pinned her down, and held her hands beside her head. ”Big sis.”

”What is it?”

”Nothing.” Yue Qianrou immediately let go of Yue Xuelian’s hand and got up from above her. ”I will continue my cultivation.”

Yue Xuelian inwardly sighed as she stood up. ”Qianrou, you know I always love you, right? If you want something from me, you can tell me directly, and I will fulfill your request.”

”I know.” Yue Xuelian stared at Yue Qianrou for a while before leaving her room. ”Tch! You will never understand my suffering when I turned into a corpse demon! I turned into a demon like this because you left me in that cursed place! Will you fulfill my request if I ask you to become a demon like me?”

Yue Qianrou immediately calmed her anger, closed her eyes, and started cultivating again.

”Sect Master.”

Yue Xuelian nodded to Yue Liangyu, Yue Liuxian, and Yue Bingxuan. ”Since the three of you are ready, you can depart for the Moonlit Passion Temple now. When you guys arrive at the Twin Flames Main Domain, you must contact Qing Qiu’er to pick you up, or you won’t be able to reach her sect due to the numerous formations there.”

”Eh?” The three women were surprised by that. ”Did they change the domain too, Sect Master?”

”Yes.” Yue Xuelian created a qi screen, displaying the situation in the Twin Flames Main Domain, shocking them. ”I myself was shocked when I went there because the domain had changed a lot compared to the last time I went there, and they had set up many formations there, including a flight restriction formation. If you don’t contact Qing Qiu’er, you will never be able to go to her sect because the forest is filled with many misleading and illusory formations.”

The three women nodded in understanding. ”In that case, we’ll head to the Twin Flames Main Domain, and we’ll contact Sect Master Qing once we arrive there.”

”Take care.”
