Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1508: Zhang Fei - Yue Yuling

Yue Yuling was completely shocked to hear that there was someone else standing above Qing Qiu’er and You Feiling, but she knew that the two women would never be able to bring change to the Moonlit Passion Temple. If they had the ability to bring change to the sect, they would have done it years ago without having to wait for someone to come to their aid. ”What’s that person’s name?”

”Zhang Fei.”

Yue Liangyu felt confused because Tianshi Shengjie had previously forbidden her from telling Yue Yuling about him, yet she had informed the female elder herself.

’I mean, you don’t need to tell her that he is here and disguised as a woman because that will only cause him problems.’

Yue Liangyu nodded in understanding, and she chose not to say anything to Yue Yuling, leaving everything to Tianshi Shengjie.

”Zhang Fei?” Yue Yuling tried searching in her memories about him, but she was sure that she had never heard his name. ”What is his status in the Moonlit Passion Temple?”

Tianshi Shengjie smiled at her. ”Do you still need to ask that, Elder Yuling? Zhang Fei is the husband of Qing Qiu’er and You Feiling, and he is the true leader of our sect. However, he rarely appears in public, and he is more often in seclusion with them.”

”I see.” Yue Yuling nodded in understanding. ”I don’t care about Zhang Fei, and I’m just curious about him. I don’t know how he managed to get Qing Qiu’er and You Feiling, but the changes he brought to the Moonlit Passion Temple are a good thing, so the number of dual cultivation sects in this realm has decreased by one. I hope that all dual cultivators will disappear completely from this realm because too many of them have evil natures, and they force others to become like them.”

”Hehe.” Tianshi Shengji chuckled. ”Even though many dual cultivators have evil natures, non-dual cultivators are much worse than them, mainly because their numbers are greater; for example, Hun Lingwu.”

”Hun Lingwu?” Yue Liangyu and Yue Yuling were shocked to hear the name. ”What has that old man done?”

”He kidnapped several women and used them as cultivation furnaces.” Yue Liangyu and Yue Yuling found it hard to believe because Hun Lingwu had a good reputation in the Paradise Realm, but they were sure Tianshi Shengjie wouldn’t slander him without proof. ”I’ll show you two.”

Tianshi Shengjie created a qi screen and displayed memories of when Zhang Fei and Feng Yao infiltrated the Immortal Soul Palace. Yue Liangyu and Yue Yuling raised their eyebrows when they saw Hun Lingwu doing such a thing to a woman, but they quickly averted their gazes because the old man was naked.

Tianshi Shengjie directly removed the qi screen and spoke to them. ”People in the Paradise Realm always ostracize dual cultivators, even though not all of them are evil. In reality, many ordinary cultivators are more evil than them, and Hun Lingwu is one of them. That old man kidnapped Jun Qingling when she was young, and he used her body as a cultivation furnace for years. If he hadn’t caused trouble with us, we would never have discovered his depraved actions against so many women.”

”Trouble?”

Tianshi Shengjie nodded at them. ”Hun Lingwu visited our sect about a month ago, and he used cunning methods to influence several women in our sect, just like what he did to other women in the past, including Jun Qingling. Unfortunately, he targeted the wrong targets, and he had to bear the consequences for his actions against them.”

”What did you guys do to Hun Lingwu?”

”Nothing serious.” Tianshi Shengjie replied with a shake of her head. ”Someone helped us to erase Hun Lingwu’s memories and destroy his backup memories, so he can’t remember many things now.”

”Who?”

”Feng Yao, also known as Empress Huo.”

Yue Yuling was stunned for a moment upon hearing that, but she had already heard Feng Yao announce that the Moonlit Passion Sect was under her protection, so she felt it was natural for her to help the sect do something about Hun Lingwu.

”Why didn’t Empress Huo kill that lecherous old man?”

”Empress Huo has other plans for Hun Lingwu, so she can’t kill him now.” Tianshi Shengjie then warned them. ”You two must warn your sect members about that old man, and they must flee immediately if they encounter him on the road.”

*Tap... Tap...”

Yue Yuling turned to Zhang Fei [4] and Helian Xun’er, who had just returned, but she couldn’t recognize his disguise like Yue Liangyu. ”I didn’t expect that you would come back here, Xun’er.”

”Elder Yuling, I haven’t seen you for a long time.” Helian Xun’er greeted the female elder by cupping her hands together.

”I’m glad that you’re healthy, Xun’er. Although your cultivation hasn’t progressed much compared to the last time we met, I can feel that your aura has become stronger than last time.” Yue Yuling looked at Zhang Fei [4]. ”Is this woman also a member of the Moonlit Passion Temple like you and Princess Tianshi? Even though her cultivation is still at the 3-Sun Celestial King Realm, I can feel that her aura is much stronger than the two of you.”

Helian Xun’er nodded at her. ”Her name is Feltia, and she is one of the elders of the Moonlit Passion Temple.”

”Feltia? I have never heard such a name in this Paradise Realm before.”

”I’m not a native of this realm, Elder.” Yue Yuling was surprised to hear that from Zhang Fei [4]. ”I am a native of the Three Mortal Realms, and I ascended to this realm about two decades ago.”

Yue Yuling nodded at Zhang Fei [4]. ”You are still so young, yet your cultivation has already reached this stage. Many women in our sect are older than you, but none of them could reach this stage at your age, and I reached that stage when I was a thousand years old.”

”You are too modest, Elder.” Zhang Fei [4] glanced at Yue Liangyu, who immediately turned her face to the side. ”Even though my cultivation has reached this stage, I am not satisfied with my achievements, and I want to pursue a higher stage as quickly as possible.”

Yue Yuling nodded at him. ”As cultivators, we must never be satisfied with our achievements because cultivation has no limits, and many new things await us. If you find satisfaction in your achievements, you won’t be able to progress, and you’ll remain stuck at this stage. Unfortunately, you have already joined the Moonlit Passion Temple, so I can’t recruit you to my sect.”

’Tch! He is Zhang Fei, Elder Yuling! If you recruit him into our sect, our sect’s name will be tarnished because of his presence.’ Yue Liangyu grumbled in her heart.

”Thank you for your advice, Elder.” Zhang Fei [4] glanced at Yue Liangyu again before continuing. ”I’m already comfortable with the situation at the Moonlit Passion Temple because it has taken me in since I first ascended to this realm, so I would never consider joining another sect. Moreover, our sects have completely changed now, and we are no longer a dual cultivation sect, so I hope our two sects can maintain a good relationship in the future.”

”As long as your sect is not a dual cultivation sect, our sect has no problem establishing good relations with you guys.” Yue Yuling then diverted their conversation. ”Princess Tianshi previously said that the three of you went to this tower to pick up some people from the Three Mortal Realms, and I think they are your friends, right?”

”Yes.” Zhang Fei [4] nodded at her. ”They already went to this tower when I ascended to this realm, and many of their families are in our sect now. Therefore, we came here to pick them up, and we will take them to our sect. Additionally, we want to pick up some of the people who ascended to this realm before us so we can gather together again like in the past.”

”Who are those people?”

”Ruan Xiaoqi and her husband. Besides the two of them, there are two others who joined your sect, Elder. Originally, I didn’t plan to bring them with us, but your disciple said that their talents are so-so, and they have difficulty developing in your sect, so I thought of bringing them with us.”

Yue Yuling turned to Yue Liangyu, who immediately nodded to her. ”Who are those people?”

”Beihuang Fan and Nalan Qingge.” Yue Yuling remembered those two women, and she also thought that their talents were so-so. ”If they have difficulty developing in this sect, I’ll take them with us so they won’t be a burden to you. Moreover, their families are in my sect, so they can be together again.”

”I’ll have someone bring the four of them here.” Yue Yuling readily agreed and contacted someone to bring the four of them into the tower. ”So, who are your acquaintances challenging this tower?”

”You don’t need to do anything about them, Elder.” Yue Yuling and Yue Liangyu were shocked when Zhang Fei [4] opened a portal, and several people walked out from it.

’Since when has he reached the third floor? How did he get there so quickly? What kind of portal is that? How can he open one in the tower?’ Yue Liangyu wondered in her heart.

Yue Yuling was also shocked to see the portal, but she didn’t ask about it. ”Are they your acquaintances from the Three Mortal Realms?”
