Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 947: Shi Xi The White Tiger

”Mother, he is Brother Fei.” Tasha introduced Zhang Fei to her mother, Lang Taiyin.

Lang Taiyin nodded slightly with a smile on her face. ”Thank you for protecting Tasha and saving me from those demons.”

”You should already know my relationship with Tasha, so you donʼt need to thank me.” Zhang Fei then sat on the bed, took Lang Taiyinʼs hand, and asked her to swallow a recovery pill. ”Even though your condition has not fully recovered, you are much better than two months ago, and you should be able to fully recover in the next four months. Once you recover, you can join your husband to train outside.”

”Yes.” Lang Taiyin then asked him. ”When do you want to marry my daughter?”

Tasha blushed because of that, but Zhang Fei rubbed her head and answered Lang Taiyin. ”I will marry her whenever she is ready.”

”Do you want to marry him in the near future, Shaʼer?” Lang Taiyin asked her daughter.

”No.” Tasha shook her head at her mother. ”Mother, I want to accompany you first, as we have been apart for too long, and my cultivation has not broken through to the Seven Divine Realm. Brother Fei wants his other wives to break through to that stage first, so I also want to wait like them.”

”I see.” Lang Taiyin nodded in understanding, and she also wanted to accompany her daughter first. She had been away from Tasha since her early years, and over a millennium had elapsed since then. ”If you have decided like that, I will follow your wishes. You will marry him after your cultivation breaks through to that stage.”

Tasha was relieved to hear that. ”Thank you, Mother.”

After he accompanied Tasha and Lang Taiyin for quite some time, Zhang Fei went to see Zhang Chen, who immediately asked him many questions, including about his relationship with Ming Yanyu and Wang Zhuxian, especially since the two women had been living with him in the pavilion for more than a year.

”I will wait for them to break through to the Seven Divine Realms first, Grandma.”

”Hmm?” Zhang Chen raised an eyebrow. ”Wouldnʼt they be able to cultivate faster if they dual-cultivated directly with you?”

”No.” Zhang Fei shook his head at her. ”Actually, thereʼs no difference whether they dual-cultivate with me directly or not, and they only need to consume my Yang Qi regularly, just like you.”

Zhang Chen nodded in understanding, especially since her cultivation continued to improve rapidly, even though she didnʼt dual cultivate with her grandson. Moreover, she also has an avatar, which she cultivates non-stop. ”What about your aunt?”

”Aunt Qing Tan?”

”Yes.”

Zhang Fei was amused by that. ”Why are you asking about her, Grandma? Do you really think I will take Aunt Tan as my wife?”

”Your relationship is already too messy, remember?” Zhang Fei smiled wryly when Zhang Chen mentioned his relationship. ”Qing Tan has been a widow for many years, and I have often seen her lonely since she came to live with us, so I think it would be fine if you took her as one of your wives.”

Zhang Fei let out a soft sigh, sat down beside Zhang Chen, and embraced him. ”Grandma, I am indeed a lust demon and a pervert, but I have never had the slightest thought of taking Aun Tan as my wife. I can understand her feelings, but I only have feelings of respect for her, similar to the feelings I have for you.”

Zhang Chen did not continue talking about Qing Tan any longer. ”When will you break through to the Seven Divine Realms?”

”Hmm?” Zhang Fei asked Mei for her calculations before answering his grandmother. ”I have replaced three of my prisoners with three much stronger female cultivators so I can get much more Yin Qi faster. If my calculations are right, I can break through in three months.”

”Inside or outside?”

”Outside.”

Zhang Chen nodded in understanding. ”Xian Xianqin has been waiting for you for several years, as have Zhou Shenxin and Bai Tianʼer. You cannot let them wait for you any longer, and you must strive to break through to that stage as soon as possible.”

”I understand, Grandma.” Zhang Fei immediately stood up. ”I will check the progress of Shi Xiʼs transformation into the White Tiger beast now.”

”All right.”

The moment Zhang Fei came out of Zhang Chenʼs room, he heard the sound of a woman moaning, and he could tell that the owner was Xi Hongyan. ”Back then, that woman always rejected my senior brother, but she was addicted to dual cultivating with him after doing it once.”

”Do you have a soundproof formation?” Zhang Fei turned to Yan Yinqing and Jing Qiuyue. ”The two of them dual cultivate almost every day, and Xi Hongyan is like a tigress every time they do it, which is very annoying.”

”Haha.” Zhang Fei laughed at that. ”Senior Sister, you should find a husband soon, and I think you will be no different from Xi Hongyan after you get married.”

”Humph!” Yan Yinqing snorted softly. ”Iʼm still young, and my path of cultivation is still long ahead, so I would rather not get married for now. Perhaps Iʼll get married after I reach the Celestial God Realm, and Iʼll enjoy a leisurely life with my family at that time. Rather than discussing me, it would be better if we talked about your relationship with my mother. You guys have been living together in the pavilion for almost four years now, but your relationship has yet to take a step forward.”

Zhang Fei let out a heavy sigh. ”Senior Sister, I could force your mother to accept me, but that would only hurt her feelings. Moreover, she is still focused on her cultivation, mainly because of her grudge against Xereth. Therefore, I will not do anything to her, and I will wait until her feelings are clear.”

”My mother loved my late father too much, and Xereth was the cause of his death.” Yan Yinqing replied with a soft sigh. ”Ever since she found out about that demon, she kept thinking about him, and she was eager to kill him.”

Zhang Fei nodded in response. ”Thatʼs why we have to be patient with her, and she will fall for me one day.”

”I hope so.” Yan Yinqing then walked away to her room.

”Do you want to practice again, Senior Sister Qiuyue?”

”No.” Jing Qiuyue then hugged Zhang Feiʼs arm and led him out of the portable mansion. ”Please help me to convince Liangren.”

”Unfortunately, I have no way to help you, Senior Sister.” Zhang Fei replied with an apologetic look. ”Senior Brother Liangren loves Qin Yue too much, and Yue Qinhua is clearly her reincarnation. Since she has returned to him, he will find it difficult to accept you. Even if we use force, you will never get his heart, and he will probably hate you.”

Jing Qiuyue lowered her face in disappointment, especially since she loved Qiao Liangreng so much. Unfortunately, her feelings for him were always unrequited, and his past lover had also returned to him.

Zhang Fei stopped walking and grabbed her shoulders. ”Senior Sister, I know for sure that forgetting someone is not easy, especially since I was once in that kind of situation. However, you should learn to forget Senior Brother Liangren because he is a monogamist, and he only loves Yue Qinhua. If you continue to force your feelings like this, they will eventually become your demon heart, and you will never be able to move forward on your path of cultivation.”

”I know that, but—” Jing Qiuyue didnʼt continue her words and clenched both her fists. ”Can I stay in the pavilion with you?”

”Eh?” Zhang Fei was taken aback by her wish. ”Why do you want to live in the pavilion? I assume you might have some information about our lifestyle there, correct? Moreover, you—”

”Donʼt say anything else.” Jing Qiuyue placed two fingers in Zhang Feiʼs mouth. ”Just like Aunt Lingyan, I want to cultivate there, and I donʼt care about the lifestyle of you all.”

Zhang Fei remained silent and led Jing Qiuyue directly to the pavilion, but she quickly selected an empty room because she felt uncomfortable seeing the naked women.

Zhang Fei immediately went to check on Shi Xi, who had just finished her transformation. ʼScan her, May.ʼ

Zhang Fei nodded in satisfaction and helped Shi Xi out of the capsule. Thereafter, Feng Yichen helped her extract some things from the Black Tortoise Beast, and he asked Angela to enter the capsule.

[Master, I have extracted ten drops of Shi Xiʼs bloodline, and I will implant it into your body after Shi Wu and Angela become beasts.]

ʼAll right, I will ask for Xinxinʼs bloodline later, so you can implant their bloodlines into my body at the same time.ʼ Zhang Fei then spoke to Shi Xi. ”I will take you to see Serpentera and Tian Kui now, and they will help you inherit the power of the white tiger.”

”Yes, Master.”

.

Soon, they had arrived at the Starry Sky Realm, and Zhang Fei immediately handed over the white tigerʼs beast core to Serpentera. ”Can Xiʼer inherit all of its powers?”

”Hmm?” Serpentera first observed the white tigerʼs beast core before observing Shi Xiʼs body. ”Fortunately, this girl already has a strong physique thanks to her training and your Yang Qi, and her physique has also become even stronger after she became a beast. Therefore, she can directly inherit all the strength of the beast, but I will help her gradually, so it will be easier for her to adapt to her new strength.”

”Before that, you have to merge the beastʼs soul with hers.” Tian Kui spoke.

Zhang Fei turned to Shi Xi, who immediately released her soul. He then took out the white tigerʼs soul from his soul space and used the soul manipulation ability to merge their souls together, which increased her soul level several times until it reached the initial stage of the earthly soul level.

After Shi Xi returned her soul to her body, Serpentera asked her to sit in front of him, and he began to transfer the white tigerʼs strength to her.

”How long will the process take?”

”The process will take a few hours, so you can attend to your other business first and return here later.”

”All right.” Zhang Fei went straight back to the pavilion.
