Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 940: Mythical Beasts Moving

After he sent all those people away, Zhang Fei [5] immediately went to meet Feng Xishui and Feng Yongchen to discuss something.

”Senior Xiushi, several of my subordinates have contacted me, and they have started to establish my demon fox group on several planets in the lower, middle, and upper realms.” Feng Xiushi turned to Zhang Fei [5], who gave him a storage ring containing many teleportation devices. ”I will use these devices to connect the planets in the middle and upper realms to this realm, and I will connect the planets in the lower realms to the Nine Stars Realm so I can more easily take care of everything.”

Feng Xishui immediately accepted the storage ring. ”Are you going with me?”

”Yes.” Zhang Fei [5] nodded at him. ”My soul and body cultivations are still far from breaking through; my alchemy and blacksmithing are good now. Regarding my cultivation, both my real body and other clones are currently in seclusion, so I will manage other things for now. However, it will take too much time if I go there by myself, so I need your help to go to all those realms faster.”

”All right.” Feng Xishui then spoke to Feng Yongheng. ”You can handle all the clans for now, and Iʼll come back after weʼve sorted everything out.”

Feng Yongheng nodded in response. ”The situation in this realm has calmed down since the Dragon, White Tiger, and Black Tortoise clans became this kidʼs subordinates, so I can handle them myself.”

Thereafter, Zhang Fei [5] took Feng Xishui to the Sky Jade Realm, but the ice phoenix, Feng Jinqiu, suddenly appeared before them. ”Hmm? It has been two years since I last saw you, and your cultivation has now reached the Quasi Divine Realm.

”Haha.” Zhang Fei [5] laughed at that. ”There have been many things I have gone through in the past two years, and I have spent almost all of my time in seclusion. Therefore, you donʼt need to be surprised that my cultivation has reached this stage.”

Feng Jinqiu nodded in understanding. ”However, it is impossible for you to reach this stage through ordinary means, and you must have used outside help to assist you.”

”Youʼre right.” Zhang Fei [5] showed one true foundation pill to Feng Jinqiu. ”I got the recipe from Senior Jingxia, and I ordered my slave alchemists to continue concocting them. Unlike other pills, this pill helped me stabilize my foundation without leaving any sequelae. By the way, this realm is completely safe now, so itʼs time for you to return to the Phoenix Realm. However, you should not go back there immediately, and I will send you to my private training ground.”

”Hmm?” Feng Jinqiu momentarily raised an eyebrow before nodding in agreement. ”You are the leader of our Phoenix Clan now, so I will follow your orders.”

”No.” Zhang Fei [5] shook his head. ”Empress and Emperor Feng did hand over the Phoenix Clan to me, but I am still not the true leader of your clan. You should go back to the sect and take care of some things first, and I will send you there afterward.

”All right.”

Sometime later, Feng Jinqiu had settled matters in the sect, and Zhang Fei [5] sent her into the training space. After that, Feng Xishui returned to his phoenix form, and he took him to leave the Sky Jade Realm.

”Mhmm...” Alder and Tasha were startled by the moan, and they immediately approached Lang Taiyin, who was starting to open her eyes.

”Mother!” Tasha hugged Lang Taiyin and cried loudly. ”Hua... Mother... Huaaa... I missed you so much.”

Even though she hadnʼt seen her daughter for over a thousand years, Lang Taiyin couldnʼt possibly not recognize Tasha, especially with her screams and cries. She hugged her daughter, and tears of longing also flowed from the corners of her eyes. She kissed her head, rubbed it, and spoke to her. ”Shaʼer, I always missed you, even though I slept for so long. Iʼm glad to see you again, and youʼve grown up now.”

”Hua... Mother....” Tasha cried louder, rubbing her face against her motherʼs chest.

Lang Taiyin inwardly sighed before looking at Alder, who had also started crying. ”I missed you so much, husband.”

”Yeah.” Alder sat down beside his wife and grabbed her hand. ”I missed you so much, Wife. Iʼm sorry that I caused you to suffer for so long, but I was only able to save you now.”

Lang Taiyin shook her head slightly. ”Even though they captured me, I didnʼt suffer at all because they put me to sleep. I am truly proud to have a husband like you; you kept your promise to me to save and raise our daughter.”

”Tasha is our daughter and hope; naturally, I have to save her from their hands.” Alder then rubbed his daughterʼs head. ”Sheʼs always thought about you for over a thousand years, but I never managed to save you after I tried several times. Even so, itʼs all in the past now, and those people are dead. No one will ever be able to separate us again, and the three of us will stay together forever.”

Lang Taiyin nodded with a smile. ”How did you finally manage to save me? Where are we now?”

”Honestly, it wasnʼt me who saved you, but someone helped me do it.” Alder immediately explained to his wife about Zhang Fei, about their daughter, and about several other things. ”Our daughter fell in love with him after they lived together for a few years, and he was a great young man, so I allowed her to be with him.”

”I see.” Lang Taiyin nodded in understanding. ”Since you have decided so, I will follow your decision. I want to see Zhang Fei now, so I hope you can call him here.”

Alder immediately explained. ”Zhang Fei is currently in seclusion with his other wives, and I am unsure when he will emerge because he is focused on breaking through to the Seven Divine Realms.”

”Okay, Iʼll wait for him to come out of his seclusion.” Lang Taiyin lifted Tasha, laid her on her side, and wiped her tears. ”I havenʼt seen you since you were young, so I want to hear everything you went through while I wasnʼt by your side, including your feelings for Zhang Fei.”

”Yes, Mother.” Tasha began to retell many things to her mother.

Alder smiled in relief seeing both of them, and he lay down beside his wife, hugging her and listening to their daughter tell her story.

At their place of seclusion, Long Jiuxiao and the others had already fully recovered from the injuries that Zhang Fei had given them a year and a half ago.

”What about your golden fox clan?”

Huli Jinhu shook his head at Wang Yitao. ”I donʼt know what that little bastard did in my realm, but many of my loyal followers have switched their support to my wife, and many of them were captured by her loyal followers, making my influence in my clan at least now.”

”What about your clan in the Sky Dragon Realm?”

Huli Jinju released a heavy sigh at Dai Yishuʼs question. ”Shouldnʼt you already know the answer? That little bastard has taken over that realm completely, and your three clans in that realm are his subordinates now.”

”Yes.” Dai Yishu nodded gloomily. ”Dai Hubaiʼs disappearance made my main clan quite chaotic, but there was still Dai Yanxu and the others to calm the situation. However, Dai Baihu had already cut ties with my main clan, and the main cause was that little bastard.”

”The situation in my Black Tortoise clan was the same.” Wang Yitao sighed heavily. ”After that little bastard defeated us and Wang Wugui, he took over my branch clan in that realm and forced Wang Guzhe to sever ties with my main clan. I had ordered Wang Xiaoling and the others to take care of them, but they did not move at all and let our branch clan fall into his hands.”

They then turned to Long Jiuxiao, who shook his head at them. ”My main dragon clan hasnʼt made a move yet, but they will move after I come out. Since weʼve recovered, and Xereth hasnʼt shown any movement either, I think itʼs time for us to take care of that little bastard first. Back then, he was able to defeat our avatars because we couldnʼt use our full power, but we can use it now, so Iʼm confident in destroying him.”

”I agree!” Dai Yishu immediately stood up. ”So, where should we look for that bastard? Should we go to the Sky Dragon Island?”

”I think so.” Wang Yitao also stood up from his seat. ”That little bastard hasnʼt returned to this realm since Xereth summoned Taotieʼs avatar in the Starry Sky Realm, but he has repeatedly shown activity in that realm, so we have to go there now.”

”Wait a minute.” Long Jiuxiao and the other two turned to Huli Jinhu. ”The Hong, Yan, and Wang Clans are that little bastardʼs accomplices. Besides them, there are several others with Gong Ren and Cheng Gaoji now, so I think it would be better if we captured them first. The Nameless One is powerful, but he wonʼt be able to fight all of us at once, especially since his contract beast isnʼt with him now. However, we should call our people to come to this realm, and we will move once they arrive.”

Long Jiuxiao, Wang Yitao, and Dai Yishu exchanged glances for a moment before agreeing to Huli Jinhuʼs idea. ”Letʼs contact our people, and weʼll capture all his accomplices as soon as they arrive.”

”Yeah.” They immediately contacted their clan members from the Dragon, Black Tortoise, White Tiger, and Golden Fox clans.

Since Huli Zhishen has sided with Zhang Fei, Huli Jinhu can only summon the remaining members of his clan. Meanwhile, Long Jiuxiao, Wang Yitao, and Dai Yishu asked the members of their clans and the remaining ancestors to come to that realm as soon as possible.
