Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 936: Blackthorn Abyss Realm

Upon their arrival at the pavilion, Zhang Fei immediately took Ru Xue and Zhang Lin to his room, where he engaged in dual cultivation with both of them. The two women were the strongest in bed among all his women, mainly due to their demon dragon races, even though they hadnʼt yet broken through to the Seven Divine Realms.

Ru Xue is the Celestial Demon Dragon, and Zhang Lin is the Abyssal Leviathan Dragon; not even Feng Yichen and Huli Zhishen can match them in terms of stamina when having sex with Zhang Fei.

Zhang Fei asked his other women to prepare, and he would dual-cultivate with them after he finished with Zhang Lin and Ru Xue. His five clones were also busy with their respective partners, especially since he couldnʼt wait for his demon rank to reach emperor rank and evolve into a transcendent lust demon.

In hiding, Xereth suddenly opened his eyes and listened to the incoming voice message from one of his subordinates, who had managed to find Alderʼs hideout after hunting him for the past six months.

”I canʼt leave this matter to those foolish demons anymore, or I will really die. Moreover, my strength has been recovered by three-quarters, so I must capture that wolf demon myself.” After getting Alderʼs location, Xereth immediately deactivated the barrier and flew out of the realm. ”Once I succeed in capturing him, I will go to the lower realms to look for those demon seeds.”

.

.

.

Serpentera and Tian Kui, who were still in the Starry Sky Realm, immediately noticed Xerethʼs movements. ”What is the demon planning now?”

”Hmm?” Serpentera raised his eyebrows as he continued to monitor Xerethʼs movements. ”It seems he is targeting that little wolf, especially since one of his subordinates has been hunting him for months.”

”Are you going to save that wolf?”

Serpentera nodded at him. ”From what I heard, his daughter is Zhang Feiʼs future wife, so I canʼt let him die. Moreover, he is hiding in a realm not far from here, so itʼs not a difficult matter for me.”

”Letʼs go then.”

.

.

.

In less than an hour, Serpentera and Tian Kui had arrived in another realm, and they paralyzed Xerethʼs subordinate without killing him. They found Alder recovering from his injuries, which he had received from the demons of the Blackthorn Abyss Realm six months ago.

”Hey!” Startled, Alder looked up at Serpentera and Tian Kui. ”What a foolish weakling!”

Alder smiled bitterly hearing Tian Kui say that. ”How did you two find me in this realm, Seniors?”

”The three mortal realms are too small for our senses; itʼs too easy for us to check the entire area from end to end.” Serpenter then landed in front of Alder. ”You shouldnʼt force yourself, and you can ask Zhang Fei for help. Iʼm sure that he wouldnʼt mind helping you, especially with his relationship with your daughter.”

”I know that, Senior.” Alder replied with a soft sigh. ”However, Zhang Fei is still focused on his cultivation, so I would rather not bother him with my problems.”

Serpentera nodded in understanding. ”That kid has just completed his breakthrough to the Quasi Divine Realm, and he should be resting right now. Moreover, he wonʼt be breaking through anytime soon, so you should discuss your problems with him, and he can help you solve them.”

”By the way, we should leave now because Xereth will arrive in this realm soon.” Alder was shocked to hear that from Tian Kui, but Serpentera immediately grabbed his shoulder, and the three of them quickly left the realm.

Before long, they were back in the Starry Sky Realm, and Serpentera immediately helped Alder recover from his injuries. ”What exactly is Xereth looking for from you?”

”My daughter.” Alderʼs answer surprised Serpentera and Tian Kui, especially since neither of them had ever met Tasha. ”My daughter is the ancient sun wolf demon, and she—”

”What?” Serpentera and Tian Kui were shocked to hear that. ”Is it true that your daughter is the ancient sun wolf demon?”

Alder nodded at them. ”Originally, my wife was not a wolf demon, and she was a descendant of the ancient sun wolf. I met her when I wandered to other demon realms, and she lost her memory at that time. Since she didnʼt remember her origin, I took her on an adventure until we fell in love with each other. In the end, she turned into a demon wolf, and she regained her memories after she gave birth to our daughter. After she remembered everything, she told me that she was a descendant of that wolf race.”

”Then, why do they want to capture your daughter?”

Alder released a soft sigh. ”When our daughter was born, she was already different from other wolf demons, and her demon form was similar to my wifeʼs form before she became a demon. At first, we didnʼt have any problems, but the situation changed after she grew up and started cultivating, which awakened the ancient sun wolf bloodline within her.”

”Her awakening caused an unusual phenomenon in your home realm, right?”

”Thatʼs right.” Alder then shared his memories of when Tasha awakened her bloodline with Serpentera and Tian Kui. ”A month after the phenomenon, my demon emperor ordered his subordinates to capture our daughter, and we were too overwhelmed to fight them at that time. Our situation forced me to choose between my wife and my daughter, and my wife asked me to save our daughter, which I did without hesitation. Despite numerous difficulties, I managed to save our daughter, and I took her to hide in the Netherworld Realm for over a thousand years. At first, I didnʼt know the reason my demon emperor did that, but I eventually found out that he was one of Xerethʼs subordinates when I tried to save my wife for the first time.”

”Oh? So, why does Xereth want your daughter?”

”Youʼve gone senile, Old Kui.” Tian Kui looked at Serpentera with his eyebrows raised. ”The ancient sun wolf race should have been wiped out thousands of years ago, and you should know the reason behind their extinction.”

”Those four evil beasts.”

”Thatʼs right.” Serpentera nodded in response. ”Even though they are not as strong as our two races, the ancient sun wolves are still powerful, and they have hidden potential within them. The primordial nihility beast ordered those four to wipe them out, but since they could not descend to the three mortal realms, they ordered Xereth to hunt down those who live here.”

Tian Kui nodded in understanding. ”Then, why didnʼt Xereth kill this wolfʼs wife?”

”Isnʼt that obvious?” Serpentra asked back, shaking his head. ”If Xereth killed his wife, this wolf would never return there, and he would have a hard time finding their daughter. Therefore, he kept his wife alive to lure him back, and he wanted to eliminate all three of them at once, but I donʼt understand how his wife could have survived the massacre.”

”According to my wifeʼs story, a mysterious person saved her and several members of her race, and that person sent them to random places.” Alderʼs answer made Serpentera and Tian Kui exchange surprised glances, and they wondered about the identity of the mysterious person. ”She does not know the identity of that person, especially since that person has never appeared in person.”

Serpentera nodded in understanding. ”As I said before, you should ask Zhang Fei for help to settle this matter. He will definitely help you for your daughter and himself, especially since he canʼt wait to raise his demon rank to emperor rank soon.”

”All right, I will talk to Zhang Fei after he comes out.”

.

.

.

Meanwhile, Xereth had just arrived in the previous realm; he was furious when he couldnʼt find Alder there. In the end, he killed his subordinate, who was still unconscious.

Xereth tried to detect the aura of Serpentera and Tian Kui, but the two ancient beasts were simply too powerful and experienced for him, making him unable to find anything there.

”Could it be that those two powerful beasts saved that wolf? Tch! If he was in their hands, I couldnʼt catch him now.” Xereth then looked into the distance. ”The Abyssal Realm should not be far from this realm, but I canʼt break their barrier with my full strength, so I wonʼt be able to destroy it with my strength not fully recovered. The only thing I can do now is go to the planet in the lower realm or the Wasteland Realm, but the Abyssal Demon Heart still hasnʼt appeared, so thereʼs no point in me going to that realm.”

Xereth then left the realm at full speed, and his destination was none other than the Diyu Realm, especially since the ten demon lord seeds were supposed to be there. Unfortunately, he did not know that the ten seeds already had their masters, who were Zhang Fei and several of his women.

.

.

.

After he spent time with his official and unofficial women for two days, Zhang Fei decided to stop dual cultivating with them and left them to rest.

When Zhang Fei came out of the room, he saw Ming Yanyu, Wang Zhuxian, and Ning Zhuanʼer chatting happily in the garden. Despite their familiarity with the pavilionʼs inhabitants, the three of them did not adopt their naked lifestyle.

Not far from the three young women, Zhang Fei saw Jiang Tingxi was painting the Zhou imperial palace, so he did not disturb them and let her vent her longing. As usual, Tantai Lingyan locked herself in her room, and she had hardly stopped cultivating since he brought her to the pavilion the first time.

Zhang Fei then went to Xian Changyueʼs room, but he found her sleeping soundly on her bed. In the past year, based on the flow of time in the pavilion, he had repeatedly tried to convince her to become his woman, but she remained firm in her determination not to marry.

Xian Xianqin repeatedly urged Zhang Fei to use his demon abilities on Xian Changyue, but he never did, and he wanted her to accept him of her own free will.

Zhang Fei did not wake Xian Changyue, left her room again, and entered the Sealed World Pearl.

Zhang Fei stood in front of the barrier of one of the five sealed areas, and he could hear the sound of the beasts more clearly from within. Unfortunately, despite his cultivation having reached the Quasi Divine Realm, the barrier remained closed, which left him feeling confused.

[Master, I think the barrier will only open after you break through to the Seven Divine Realms.]

”Yeah.” Zhang Fei gave a light nod before sitting cross-legged, and he tried the time acceleration feature using all his soul power. To his surprise, he sensed a significant change within the pearl, and his soul power was not drained as quickly as before. ”Hmm? How much time did I manage to speed up, Mei?”

[The time flow is two times faster than the outside world, and your soul power remains at 90%, Master.]

Zhang Fei was surprised again, especially since it made the flow of time in the pearl equivalent to that in the training space. He then tried to increase the speed again, continuing until his soul power became depleted, which made him feel dizzy.

[Four times faster than the outside world in total, Master.]

”Four times faster, huh?” Zhang Fei muttered with a delighted smile. ”The difference between Heavenly Soul and Ancestral Soul is too stark, Mei. Back then, I could only speed it up by a few hours, but I was already able to speed it up that much. If I reach the perfection stage, I might be able to speed it up even further. Unfortunately, achieving it is not easy, so I need to put in more effort.”

[Rather than thinking about that, I think you should go hunt demons and absorb their demon essence, Master. You only need about 180 million more demon essence, and you will evolve into a transcendent lust demon.]

Zhang Fei nodded at her, and he immediately left the Sealed World Pearl before leaving the training space.

”Hmm?” Zhang Fei was surprised when he arrived at the Starry Sky Realm, especially when he saw Serpentera helping Alder recover from his injuries. He immediately approached them. ”What happened to him?”

”Six months ago, he tried to save his family, but he was ganged up on by demons from the Blackthorn Abyss Realm and one of Xerethʼs subordinates.” Zhang Fei frowned after Tian Kui said that. ”That demon almost managed to capture him before, but we saved him and brought him here. By the way, that demon is on his way to the middle realms, but we donʼt know his destination yet.”

Zhang Feiʼs expression turned serious after hearing that. ”Iʼm sure Xerethʼs destination is either the Wasteland Realm or my home realm, but Iʼm sure he wonʼt go to the Wasteland Realm because the Abyssal Demon Heart hasnʼt appeared yet, so Iʼm sure heʼll target my home realm first.”

”Are you going to stop him?”

”I must take action to prevent Xereth from destroying my home realm, as it will significantly impact my future.” Zhang Fei glanced at Serpentera and Alder before asking Tian Kui. ”Can you help me stop him? With my current strength, I am definitely not his opponent, so I need your help.”

”Help him, Old Kui.” Serpentera spoke as he pulled his Qi back from Alderʼs body. ”Kid, help this wolf to save his family, and you can use those demons to increase your demon rank.”

Zhang Fei nodded in agreement. ”I have no problem with that, but I would rather not waste too much time. Therefore, I hope you can take us there, and I will deal with them as soon as possible.”

”Letʼs go then.” Serpentera immediately stood up, grabbed Zhang Fei and Alder by the shoulders, and led the two of them to leave the Starry Sky Realm.

On the other hand, Tian Kui went after Xereth.

”You two can sort them out yourselves.” Serpentera instantly disappeared from their sight.

Zhang Fei then asked Alder. ”Do you know where your family is imprisoned?”

”Over there.” Alder pointed toward the black tower, located far to the north of them. ”The demon emperor of this realm and his subordinates live there, and they imprison my family in the lowest dungeon of that tower.”

”The lowest dungeon?”

Alder nodded at him. ”There are a total of ten dungeons below, and the bottom one is a special dungeon to lock up powerful demons, including the former demon emperor.”

”Oh?” Zhang Fei turned to Alder with surprise. ”What actually happened? Why did the current demon emperor imprison his predecessor?”

”The predecessor was too evil, and he was a tyrant who did not hesitate to sacrifice anyone for his ambition.” Alderʼs answer did not surprise Zhang Fei, especially since he had met many of those with similar characters, such as Zhou Xiaochuan. ”Back then, the current demon emperor was his confidant, but he and the others rebelled and overthrew him, especially after he killed several of their families.”

”Tell me about the tower.”

”The current demon emperor lives on the top floor, and all his confidants live on each floor below him. However, we cannot enter the tower directly because there is a strong barrier there, so we have to find another way to get in there.” Zhang Fei nodded in understanding to Alder. ”There used to be a secret passage, but they destroyed it after they found me sneaking in through it.”

”Is there a city in the tower area?”

”The Blackthorn Imperial City.”

Zhang Fei transformed into his lust demon lord form, grabbed Alderʼs shoulder, and used his body modification ability on him, preventing the demons from recognizing him. ”Letʼs go there.”
