Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 935: Pass The Tribulation

*Rumble... Rumble...*

The sky rumbled after Zhang Fei issued his challenge, and the lightning guardian immediately thrust his lightning spear at him.

Zhang Fei deflected the spear with his sword, but the lightning guardian tried to electrocute him. Fortunately, his lightning elemental had reached the perfection stage, and Lei also helped him, making the lightning insignificant to him.

Zhang Feiʼs five clones surrounded the lightning guardian, and they used different techniques to attack him. They shot the hellflame frost lotus, the annihilation flame, the tempest spear, the ethereal demon claw, and the black hellflame towards the lightning guardian.

Zhang Fei himself did not remain silent, and he flew backwards before channeling all his elements into his sword, swinging it toward the lightning guardian. In that instant, a sword Qi combined from all his elements shot toward him.

*Boom... Boom...*

Several consecutive explosions sounded from the air, and the lightning guardianʼs body partially disappeared. However, it quickly recovered again, especially since his body was made from Zhang Feiʼs lightning tribulation, which meant his body would never be destroyed as long as his lightning tribulation was still ongoing.

.

.

.

Seeing that, Lei Que, Long Jishan, and Hong Xinxin immediately helped Zhang Fei and his clones. They used their abilities to attack the lightning guardian, but he absorbed their attacks and used them to strengthen himself, especially since they were lightning possessors.

”Foolish people.” The three of them turned to Tian Kui and Serpentera, who suddenly appeared beside them. ”Only a fool will attack the lightning guardian with lightning attacks.”

”Old Kui is right, you guys.” Serpentera looked at the lightning guardian. ”That thing is not an ordinary creature, but he is the embodiment of the heavens who deliberately descended by using that kidʼs lightning tribulation. If you attack him with lightning elements, he will not weaken and will become strong instead. Therefore, you guys should stop trying to help him, but instead, you should help him by absorbing this lightning to strengthen yourselves.”

”How should we do it, Senior?”

”There.” Serpentera pointed to Zhang Fei and his clones, who had already started fighting fiercely with the lightning guardian, but their attacks had no effect on him at all, especially since he was constantly recovering his body. ”You guys should go to their side, but you all must be careful because the lightning guardianʼs attacks are not easy to handle, and you will be injured if you carelessly absorb them.”

”Letʼs go there!” Hong Xinxin immediately flew away, leading Lei Que and Long Jishan toward Zhang Fei and his clones. As Serpentera instructed, they did not attack the lightning guardian, but instead, they helped them by absorbing his lightning to weaken him.

Serpentera nodded in satisfaction as she watched the actions of Hong Xinxin and the two beasts. ”I never dreamed I would witness such a phenomenon during a breakthrough.”

”If this kind of phenomenon occurred in the Paradise Realm, those old fogeys would immediately notice it, and they would flock to hunt him down.” Tian Kui spoke with a solemn expression. ”This kid is overpowered for the three mortal realms, but he is just a speck of dust in the vastness of that realm. If he were to face one of them one day, he wouldnʼt even have the chance to blink and have his head chopped off instantly.”

Serpentera nodded in agreement. ”You are right about that, but this kid is not a weak persimmon, and he is mature enough to face the worst situations. Moreover, he has many tricks up his sleeve, so I believe he will be able to adapt to the situation in that realm more easily. Perhaps we will hear his name from all corners of the Paradise Realm in the future, and the leaders of all domains will bow their heads before him.”

”Hahaha! If I hadnʼt witnessed all of his actions and this phenomenon, I would definitely laugh at your confidence in him.” Tian Kui then asked. ”What do you think if we acknowledge him as our master?”

Serpentera looked at Tian Kui with a shocked expression. ”Are you really thinking about recognizing him as your master?”

”Why not?” Tian Ku looked at Zhang Fei with a light smirk. ”This kid is not inferior to your late master, and he should be able to surpass him in the future. Furthermore, he is the successor of the ten-tailed fox, so I think recognizing him as our master is not a shameful choice, but instead, we will be proud to choose him as our master, and we will help him deal with those people.”

”Youʼre right.” Serpentera gave a light nod. ”Letʼs wait for him to ascend to the paradise realm, and we will decide this matter after he arrives there.”

”Yeah.”

.

Time passed quickly, but Zhang Fei was frustrated because he and his clone had not yet succeeded in defeating the lightning guardian, mainly because his body kept regenerating. Even after Hong Xinxin, Lei Que, and Long Jishan absorbed his lightning repeatedly, he was still as strong as before.

”Master, you will never win if you keep fighting him like this.” Lei spoke as he observed the lightning guardian.

”What do you think I should do, Lei?”

Lei immediately conveyed his idea. ”Let your clones and the others deal with this lightning guardian, and I will help you absorb the power from the source of your lightning tribulation, which will weaken him quickly.”

[Master, I think you should follow Leiʼs method and absorb that power, but it would be better if you absorbed a large amount at once, even though it will cause you extreme pain.]

”Letʼs go, Lei!”

Seeing Zhang Fei go to the source of his lightning tribulation, the lightning guardian immediately flew after him, but his five clones swiftly blocked him and used their respective techniques to attack him. Around them, Hong Xinxin and the two beasts continued to absorb the lightning power released from his body, and they used it to strengthen themselves.

Zhang Feiʼs first clone suddenly did the unexpected by entering the lightning guardianʼs body, especially since his body was not a real body but a lightning body. His actions caused him to be shocked by lightning strikes repeatedly, which made him quite painful, and he vomited a little blood.

Fortunately, Zhang Feiʼs regenerative healing factor immediately kicked in, and it quickly healed his injury. Without delay, he absorbed the lightning power from within the body of the lightning guardian, who continued to attack him with lightning shocks.

Zhang Feiʼs four other clones also directly attacked the lightning guardian to preoccupy him, so he wouldnʼt be able to go to his real body. Meanwhile, Hong Xinxin and the two beasts also speed up their absorption rate, and they relentlessly absorb the lightning from the lightning guardian.

.

.

.

Meanwhile, Zhang Fei had arrived at the source of his lightning tribulation, and Lei once again entered the lightning ball. ”Lei! Donʼt do it one at a time! Do it as much as possible at once!”

”But, master, you—”

Zhang Fei immediately interrupted. ”Itʼs okay, donʼt worry about me, and Iʼll endure the pain.”

”Yes, Master.”

*Zap... Zap...*

”Hiss!” Zhang Fei hissed in pain as the lightning struck him, but he would rather not waste time with the lightning guardian, and he endured the pain with all his might. ”Do it again! Donʼt stop!”

*Zap... Zap...*

”Hiss!”

.

.

.

”That lightning guardian is truly troublesome.” Huli Zhishen spoke with a frown. ”Zhang Fei was too reckless in absorbing the lightning from the source of his lightning tribulation, and he also used one of his clones to weaken his opponent from within.”

”Do you think he will last long, Ancestor?” Huli Xianniang asked.

Instead of Huli Zhishen, Liu Qingyu answered Huli Xianniang. ”Feiʼer has his regenerative healing factor that he copied from Ashreth. All this time, his recovery speed has always been good, and all his injuries have always healed quickly. Moreover, he also has a special technique that he created from his light element, so I believe he will be able to survive his lightning tribulation until the end.”

”Hmm?” Huli Xianniang turned to Zhang Lin and the others, and none of them doubted Zhang Feiʼs ability to withstand his lightning tribulation. ”Letʼs wait until the end.”

”Haha.” Liu Hua softly laughed. ”Rather than thinking about that, you should prepare yourself, Sister Xianniang. Once his lightning tribulation is over, Feiʼer will definitely want to dual cultivate with us right away to speed up his recovery.”

”What do you mean by that? Why does he want to dual cultivate after passing such a powerful lightning tribulation?” Huli Zhishen asked in confusion.

Zhang Lin explained to them directly. ”Grandma Zishen, my big brother is a lust demon, remember? Some time ago, he obtained a new technique, which is healing through sex.”

”Hmm?” Huli Zhishen and the others turned to Zhang Lin with surprise, especially since Zhang Fei didnʼt tell them about it.

”Hehe.” Zhang Lin giggled in response. ”His ability allows him to recover from his injuries through sex, and the effect will be faster if he has sex with a strong woman. In fact, his ability does not only apply to himself, but he can also use it on others. He never discusses or uses this ability, especially since none of us have ever suffered a serious injury. Even though he has gone through many lightning tribulations before, he has not suffered serious injuries from any of them.”

”I see.” Huli Zhishen nodded in understanding. ”Zhang Feiʼs three identities give him too many advantages, especially his identity as a lust demon lord.”

Lillea then spoke to them. ”Zhang Fei is still a lust demon lord now, but his demon rank will reach the emperor rank soon. Once he reaches that rank, he will transform into a transcendent lust demon. At that time, he will gain many new abilities related to sex and charm, and the effects of his old abilities will also increase significantly.”

”What will happen if the effect of his touch ability increases?” Huli Haohao asked.

Feng Qingmeng and the others shivered at the thought of it, especially since Zhang Feiʼs enhanced demon touch was already too potent against them. Every time he uses it on them, their lust becomes uncontrollable, and they will immediately be carried away by sexual pleasure.

”If the ability to touch increases again, we probably wonʼt be able to think rationally anymore, and we might become slaves to our lust.” Qing Yi and the others nodded in agreement with Janette. ”However, his most frightening ability is not his ability to touch, but his ability to manipulate our sexual hormones, especially since almost no one can resist its effects, except for Big Sis Yao and Jiang Yinghua.”

Ru Xue smiled bitterly as she remembered the beginning of her relationship with Zhang Fei. ”Back then, Feiʼer had just risen from the dead, and he was in the process of his awakening to become a lust demon. He unknowingly used his hormone manipulation on me, and it caused me to only think about sex, which eventually led to me having sex with him without realizing it.”

”Who among you has experienced his hormone manipulation besides Ru Xue?”

Ye Lian and the others shook their heads because Zhang Fei never used his hormone manipulation on them, but he only used his demon charm and demon touch on them.

However, Murong Qianying and Shang Yumei raised their hands, especially since Zhang Fei repeatedly used his hormone manipulation on them when he intruded into the Wasteland Realm. ”His ability is truly terrifying; I donʼt remember anything once he used it on me, and I only realized it after I came back to my senses.”

”Me too.” Shang Yumei said with a nod. ”Back then, I wanted to seduce and subdue him, but instead, he subdued me using his hormone manipulation, and I was completely powerless to resist its effects.”

”Hey! What do you think will happen if our husbandʼs demon charm increases again?” Boitata suddenly asked.

Liu Qingyu let out a soft sigh, especially since she herself had experienced the effects of Zhang Feiʼs demon charm, which lured her into having an affair with him. ”Back when we first met, his demon charm was already terrifying, and I quickly fell for his temptation, even though I had a husband at the time.”

”Me too.” Zhong Yan, Zhao Ziqin, Ye Lian, Qing Yi, and Lian Xing said in unison. ”We quickly fell for his charm once he used it on us, even though he was still an ordinary lust demon at the time. After he was transformed into a lust demon lord, its effects became even more terrifying.”

”If he evolves into a transcendent lust demon, all women will probably fall prey to his charm without them realizing it.” Liu Hua then pointed at Chu Qing. ”Sheʼs the only woman who wasnʼt affected by Feiʼerʼs demon charm, but she was attracted to her little fox form.”

”Hehehe.” Chu Qing giggled at that. ”Feiʼs little fox form is too cute, and I fell in love with him the first time I saw him.”

”You even kissed him when he was in his little fox form.” Chu Ying said with a shake of her head.

”Big Sis, kissing Zhang Fei while heʼs in his little fox form isnʼt bad, and itʼs quite fun.” All of them turned to Chu Qing with looks of astonishment. ”Actually, I—”

”She fantasized about having sex with Big Brother in his fox form.” Zhang Lin hurriedly continued Chu Qingʼs words, causing the jaws of the women to drop, especially the human women.

Chu Qing shrugged slightly. ”Whether he uses his human, demon, or beast form, Fei is still himself, so I have no problem with that.”

”You really are a crazy young girl, Qingʼer.” Lian Xing commented with a shake of her head.

Instead, Chu Qing put on a proud smile. ”Honestly, I want to transform into a beast, and I can experience that kind of thing with Fei.”

Chu Qingʼs words made them all facepalm, but Huli Zhishen immediately said. ”That kind of thing might be strange for humans and demons like you, but itʼs very common for beasts like me, especially before we can change into our human form.”

”Did you guys hear that?” They decided to ignore Chu Qing, especially since she was too crazy to think about such things. Even the most perverted Zhang Lin had never thought like that.

*Boom*

A few hours later, a huge explosion suddenly sounded from the sky, and they all turned their heads there, finding the lightning guardianʼs body in disarray. ”Apparently, he will soon complete his lightning tribulation.”

.

.

.

Up in the sky, Zhang Feiʼs condition was not good as he continued to absorb the power from the source of his lightning tribulation, and his first clone also unexpectedly absorbed the lightning power from the lightning guardianʼs body.

Their actions made the lightning guardian continue to weaken, and his bodyʼs recovery was not as fast as before, allowing the other clones to deal with him more freely.

Zhang Fei turned to the lightning guardian. ”How much do you have left, Lei?”

”Fifty percent, Master. Thus, you must hold on for the next few hours.”

Zhang Fei nodded in understanding. ”Donʼt mind me and do it faster than this.”

”Yes, Master.”

.

.

.

When night fell, the lightning ball looked weak and almost faded, as did the lightning guardian, whose body was no longer intact.

Since it had weakened a lot, Zhang Fei immediately touched the lightning ball and used his absorption technique, and he absorbed the remaining power inside.

On the other hand, Lei continued to push the remaining power into Zhang Feiʼs body to speed up the process, and the lightning ball disappeared completely sometime later.

Zhang Fei breathed a sigh of relief after the lightning ball and lightning guardian disappeared, but he was sure that the heavens would not stop trying to kill him, and they would definitely try again when he broke through to the Seven Divine Realms.

Hong Xinxin immediately flew toward Zhang Fei, returned to her human form, and supported him. ”Congratulations! You have successfully passed your lightning tribulation.”

”Yeah.” Zhang Fei immediately swallowed some healing pills and used his light element to heal himself. ”Letʼs go back.”
