Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 689: Shang Ziyuan

*Bam... Bam... Bam...*

On top of the flying artifact, Kong Zhi kept kicking its side while continuing to curse. ”Bastard! How could all the demon beasts have been on the rampage for so many days? They are clearly targeting us and want to kill us.”

Like Kong Zhi, Zhou Xiaochuan also felt that the situation of those demon beasts was too strange. Their berserk state usually lasted only a few hours, but they went into berserk mode for several days nonstop. ʼWhat exactly happened to those demon beasts? Moreover, Xin Yanluo is clearly on the island, and she should know our situation, yet she did not move to save us. Could it be that she purposefully incited them to kill me? Did her master order her to do that? What did I do wrong?ʼ

Zhou Fanzhi, Zhou Fenghu, and the others were also frustrated by their previous situation. Furthermore, they sustained significant internal injuries, and their external injuries were equally severe.

”Hey! Xiaochuan! Are you still unable to contact Zhou Shenxin?” Kong Zhi asked with a frown.

Zhou Xiaochuan shook his head in response. ”I have sent messages to her too many times, but she still hasnʼt responded to me. If my guess is correct, she has probably fallen into Zhang Feiʼs hands, so she canʼt reply to me. I have sent someone else to look for her in the Xian Kingdom, but he hasnʼt arrived there yet, so we can only wait.”

”Who exactly is Zhang Fei?” Kong Zhi muttered to himself. ”Zhou Shenxin has already mastered the soul whisper art to a high degree, and her cultivation has reached the 5-Moon Divine Transcend Realm. Thereʼs no way a brat with a cultivation at the ten mortal realms like him can fight her, let alone capture her.”

”Unfortunately, I donʼt have clear information about Zhang Fei, but he was able to defeat Zhou Fang, and he even fought with Zhou Tong before.” Kong Zhi looked at Zhou Xiaochuan with a frown. ”His identity is too mysterious, so we canʼt underestimate him. I thought about looking for him myself, but Iʼll do it after my injuries recover.”

Kong Zhi nodded slightly. ”In that case, I will join you to capture Zhang Fei, and I will use my soul technique to force that brat to reveal all his secrets to us.”

”All right.”

Without them realizing it, Zhou Hanling, who was sitting a little far away from them, looked at them with an evil smile. ʼHahaha! You guys are too naive if you want to capture my master! You donʼt even realize that it was my master who caused those demon beasts to go berserk.ʼ

After that, Zhou Hanling sent a voice transmission to Zhang Fei, informing him about Zhou Xiaochuan and Kong Zhiʼs plans to capture him.

”Hmm?” An old man sitting behind a desk raised his eyebrows as two people walked into his room. ”Oh? Why did you two come to me, Shang Huaqiang and Fei Qinyuan? Donʼt you two have more confidence in Gong Renʼs abilities than mine?”

”Senior Cheng Gaoji, you donʼt have to be so sarcastic to us.” Fei Qinyuan spoke casually as she walked to the table and placed a fiery crystal on it. ”We all know that your abilities are still below Senior Gong Renʼs, and you already admit it, right? Anyway, he refused to sell his teleportation portal to us because of his relationship with the Phoenix Race, especially since Princess Yao was the one who thwarted our plans. Thatʼs why we came for you to buy one, and this Sunfire Crystal Core should be enough to buy one, right?”

”Hmm?” Cheng Gaoji immediately took the Sunfire Crystal Core and observed it seriously to ensure its authenticity. ”How could the two of you be enemies of the Phoenix Princess?”

”We have never had any enmity with Princess Yao, but she suddenly interfered in our affairs, and she destroyed the portal to our target realm.” Cheng Gaoji looked up at Shang Huaqiang with a questioning look. ”You definitely wonʼt be interested in that realm, especially since itʼs located in the lower realms. Even so, we have some goals there, so we want to take it over.”

”Tell me the truth, or I wonʼt sell you my teleportation portal to you two.”

Shang Huaqiangʼs face darkened upon hearing that, but Fei Qinyuan immediately grabbed his hand to calm him. ”A few hundred years ago, we received information about the existence of a powerful beast in that realm. The beast died long ago, but it left its inheritance there, and we want to get it.”

”What kind of powerful beast? Is it one of those mythical beasts?”

Fei Qinyuan nodded at him. ”The beast is the ancestor of the heavenly fox race, the one and only ten-tailed fox.”

”What?” Cheng Gaoji exclaimed as he rose from his seat. ”Are you sure that the beast is the ten-tailed fox?”

”Yes.” Fei Qinyuan then told him. ”The Sky Jade Realm used to be the Heavenly Wilderness Realm, and the ten-tailed fox moved it from the upper realms to the lower realms. Since then, it stayed in that realm to protect it, but it eventually died by splitting itself into the two ancestors of the heavenly fox, Tian Baitian and Tian Baixing. Over the past hundreds of years, many people, including other mythical beasts, have tried to find it. Unfortunately, none of them found its inheritance, and they only found its statue. Even though we are not sure about the existence of its inheritance, we do not want to give up looking for it.”

”Where did you two get that information?” Fei Qinyuan just smiled at Cheng Gaoji. ”I will sell my teleportation portal to you two, but I donʼt just want this Sunfire Crystal Core; I also want a part of the ten-tailed foxʼs inheritance. If you donʼt agree, you can find someone else to buy one.”

”I agree.” Shang Huaqiang turned to his wife with a frown, but Fei Qinyuan immediately explained. ʼWe donʼt know whether the ten-tailed foxʼs inheritance is still in that realm or not, and Princess Yao might have taken it after the last incident. Moreover, Cheng Gaojiʼs status is different from ours, and he can set foot in the Sky Jade Realm directly. It would be better if we let him help us check into that realm directly, and we will order those demons to invade that realm once he finds the inheritance.ʼ

Shang Huaqiang gave a light nod. ʼHowever, this old man is too greedy, so we have to think of a way to prevent him from getting his hands on that inheritance, and we have to keep everything for ourselves.ʼ

ʼDonʼt worry, Iʼve thought about it, and this old man wonʼt get anything.ʼ Fei Qinyuan then extended his hand to Cheng Gaoji. ”Please give me the teleportation portal, and you will immediately draw up our next plan. You can go directly to the Sky Jade Realm to track down the inheritance, and we will send those demons to take over the realm once you find it.”

Cheng Gaoji immediately gave the teleportation portal to Fei Qinyuan. ”You two can go back now, and I will go directly to the Sky Jade Realm. If I succeed in finding the inheritance, I will contact you two directly.”

”I will wait for good news from you, Senior Cheng.”

Following the departure of Fei Qinyuan and Shang Huaqiang, Cheng Gaoji promptly made preparations. Naturally, he knew that the two people would not let him get the inheritance so easily, so he also prepared himself to face their hidden plans against him. After he prepared everything, he immediately left the Xianjin Realm for the Sky Jade Realm.

After their flying artifacts left the Xianjin Realm, Shang Huaqiang unexpectedly received a voice transmission. ”What the heck is going on? Since when were the two of them in a relationship?”

”What happened? Who are the two people youʼre referring to?” Fei Qinyuan asked her husband.

”Shang Baixi is in a relationship with Shang Xiaoyin, and they have already escaped from the Wasteland Realm to avoid exposing their relationship.” Shang Huaqiangʼs answer shocked Fei Qinyuan. ”I remember my sister sent him to help her daughter snatch a fox brat from Shang Yaolin, but I never knew that he had such a relationship with her.”

”I personally never knew or heard that the two of them were in a relationship.” Fei Qinyuan said with a nod. ”Since when were Shang Baixi and Shang Xiaoyin in a relationship? How did my sister-in-law know about their relationship?”

”Shang Jiali returned home and told her mother about their relationship, and Shang Jingyi immediately told my sister about it.” Fei Qinyuan naturally knew that Shang Jiali was one of Shang Xiaoyinʼs three friends. ”Anyway, I feel that there is something strange about the situation in the Wasteland Realm, especially since my sister told me that the little girl wants to marry Shang Wuzi.”

”Huh?” Fei Qinyuan was surprised to hear that. ”Wasnʼt Zhang Wuzi always infatuated with Shang Xinyu? Why did he suddenly change his mind and want to marry Shang Jiali?”

Shang Huaqiang shook his head. ”Shang Jialiʼs decision coincided with the change in Shang Baixi and Shang Xiaoyinʼs relationship, so I think something is going on in the Wasteland Realm that we donʼt know about, or else the four of them wouldnʼt have acted like that.”

”I also feel that the changes in the four of them are too strange.” Fei Qinyuan then asked. ”Are you planning to send people to that realm to investigate this matter?”

”My sister decided to go to the realm, so I will let her handle this matter herself.” Shang Huaqiang suddenly remembered something. ”Two weeks ago, my sister told me that Hun Di came to the Wasteland realm, and he took some of our people with him to another realm.”

”Who?”

”Shang Yingyue, Shang Yaolin, and Shang Guangming.”

Fei Qinyuan was not surprised that Hun Di brought Shang Yingyue with him, especially since she was his disciple. However, she was confused about why he brought Shang Yaolin and Shang Guangming with them, especially since the two had no relationship with him. ”Which realm did they go to?”

”Shang Yingyue didnʼt tell my sister about their destination, and she only asked for permission to go with her master and bring those two with them.” Shang Huaqiangʼs answer made Fei Qinyuan fall into thought. ”Forget it! We donʼt need to think about them and let my sister handle everything, and we just need to focus on our goals in the Sky Jade Realm.”

”Yeah.” However, Fei Qinyuan felt uneasy about the sudden change in the situation in the Wasteland Realm, so she contacted her Fei Clan members to investigate the realm. ”Who are we going to send to the Netherworld Realm this time?”

Shang Huaqiang immediately thought of a few names from his Shang Clan. ”I will no longer send our younger generation; instead, I will send a few seniors from the branch clans. I always feel like Shang Chongyun, Shang Chenguang, and Shang Tinglong will betray us one day. Therefore, I will send them there so they wonʼt be able to plan anything against us.”

”Shang Chongyun is Murong Qianyingʼs husband, and her Murong Clan has never liked you.” Shang Huaqiang nodded to Fei Qinyuan. ”Shang Tinglong is his brother, and he is very loyal to him. Moreover, Ran Keqing and her Ran Clan prefer the Murong Clan over us, so I believe we can seize this opportunity to eliminate them.”

”Yes.” Shang Huaqiang then asked her. ”What do you think about Murong Qianying? What should we do to get rid of her and her Murong Clan?”

”Hmm?” Fei Qinyuan raised an eyebrow in thought. ”Murong Qianying and her Murong Clan are too close to Hong Xinxin and her Hong Clan. If we make a move against them, Iʼm sure Hong Quan and Hong Chong will protect them. Both of them are stronger than us, so we have to ask for help from our seniors to fight both of them. If possible, we can ask them to kill both of them, and the Hong Clan will collapse without them.”

Shang Huaqiang nodded repeatedly in response. ”Once we arrive in our realm, we will meet our seniors directly. I hope they are willing to help us so we can solidify our clanʼs position there, and other clans will definitely not dare to think about going against us.”

”All right.” Fei Qinyuan immediately agreed with that. ”Iʼm tired of dealing with those clans, and we should try to eliminate them quickly, starting with the Murong Clan.”

”Yeah.”

.

Ning Menghao, who was thinking about something, became tense as soon as a middle-aged woman walked out of the portal room. ʼCrap! Why did she come here by herself? Does she already know about the disappearance of Shang Baixi and Shang Xiaoyin?ʼ

The middle-aged woman is none other than Shang Xiaoyinʼs mother, Shang Ziyuan. Despite her old age, her appearance is no less than a woman in her twenties, and she is no less sexy than Murong Qianying or Hong Xinxin, even though her figure is not as curvy as theirs.

Shang Ziyuan wore a tight black dress that exposed a large amount of skin around her neck and shoulders. Any man would drool over the two huge, round bumps on her chest. Her long, silky, dark hair falls to her waist. A black veil covered her face, preventing any men from seeing it.

Shang Ziyuanʼs black eyes looked calm and mellow, but they caused Ning Menghaoʼs body to tremble uncontrollably until cold sweat flowed from his forehead. ”Aunt... why did you suddenly come to this realm?”

Shang Ziyuan stretched her right palm forward, sucked Ning Menghao toward her, and tightly strangled his neck. ”Why didnʼt you report to me about Shang Baishiʼs relationship with my daughter? Why did you let them leave this realm?

Although Shang Ziyuanʼs voice was gentle, Ning Menghao could feel the anger in her tone, and the murderous aura emanating from her body caused him to tremble even more. ”Ahh... Aunt... let go of me first... I can explain everything.”

”Explain to me now.”

”When... when I arrived in this realm... Shang Baishi and Shang Xiaoyin had already left... so I couldnʼt stop them.” Shang Ziyuan narrowed her eyes at Ning Menghao, and it was clear that she did not believe him. ”If... if you donʼt believe me... you can ask your daughterʼs friends... I learned about their departure from Shang Jiali and Shang Wuzi.”

”Why didnʼt you report it to me right away?” Shang Ziyuan tightened her grip on Ning Menghaoʼs neck, causing his face to become very red. ”If you had reported it to me right away, I could have sent someone to chase after them, but you chose to keep their departure a secret from me. Itʼs been two weeks since they left, and the universe is so vast, which means you deliberately caused trouble for me.”

ʼShit! Iʼm definitely going to die!ʼ Ning Menghao tried to plead. ”Aunt... please spare me... I didnʼt mean it... Ugh...”

”Do you really think Iʼll spare you after all this?” Shang Ziyuan then put her left hand on Ning Menghaoʼs chest. ”I warned you not to think of betraying me, but you didnʼt listen to my words.”

”No... Ugh... please... spare me... Aunt.”

”Too late.”

*Boom*

*Splurt*

Ning Menghaoʼs chest exploded as soon as Shang Ziyuan used her strength, causing his blood to spurt out and wet the room. Despite this, the blood did not spill onto her body in the slightest, and she immediately threw his corpse aside.

Shang Ziyuan immediately left the room, and her presence caused the representatives of the other clans to tremble in fear. However, she ignored them and left the fortress for the residence of the Shang Clan.

Murong Yinghua immediately contacted Murong Qianying, informing her of Shang Ziyuanʼs arrival and Ning Menghaoʼs death. ʼThis is really bad! The situation on this island will be chaotic with her here!ʼ

A while later, Shang Ziyuan arrived at the Shang Clan residence, but he became even more furious after he couldnʼt find Shang Yifen and Shang Xinyu there. She then searched the entire northern island, but she was unable to locate them, particularly since the two women were in the secluded house with Zhang Xiaolong [3] and the others. ”Where did those two damn girls go? Did they run away from this realm, too? The fox brat isnʼt here either, but heʼs Hun Diʼs disciple, so he probably went with them.”
