Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 684: Capture Intruders

Two groups of people had just arrived at an area a short distance from the north gate of the Xian capital. A sexy and ravishing middle-aged woman led one group, clad in black. A burly middle-aged man, with a scar on his left cheek, led the other group, dressed in purple.

The middle-aged woman then ordered her members to infiltrate the Xian capital. Without wasting any time, they used their concealment techniques and carried out her order immediately.

Unlike them, the people dressed in purple did not infiltrate the Xian capital directly; instead, they took a destination and rushed toward the cityʼs water source.

The middle-aged man tilted his head to the side and inquired. ”Are you sure Xian Feng succeeded in capturing our disciples, He Ya? Didnʼt they leave with Prince Lian? Moreover, I heard that Emperor Shou ordered Huangfu Ziyuan to protect them, so they should be fine. Perhaps they simply havenʼt accomplished their mission, which is why they havenʼt returned to our sect.”

”Youʼre not wrong about that, Du She. They havenʼt finished their task in almost two weeks.” He Ya answered as she focused her gaze toward the Xian royal palace. ”Emperor Shou felt that Prince Lian and Huangfu Ziyuan were hiding something from him, so he contacted me and ordered me to track their whereabouts. At first, I didnʼt believe that Xuan Cunhua would fail in carrying out her task, especially since I was sure that Xian Feng and his aides wouldnʼt be able to track her using my concealment technique. However, Iʼve tried to contact her several times, but she never responded to my messages.”

Du She nodded in response. ”I also sent a message to Meng Yunjie before we left for this kingdom, but she still hasnʼt replied to my message. If Xian Feng really managed to capture them, Iʼm sure he imprisoned them in his palace dungeon.”

”I think so too. Thatʼs why I ordered my other disciples to check there and ask them to release Xuan Cunhua and Meng Yunjie if they are imprisoned there.” He Ya then asked Du She. ”What poison did you give your other disciples?”

”Emperor Shou didnʼt want them to die, so I didnʼt use my seven-colored poison, and I ordered them to mix my crimson fang poison into their water source.” Du She answered while taking out a clear bottle. ”This poison is enough to paralyze all their nerves, so we donʼt need to fight them. After Xian Feng and his family are exposed to my poison, we will immediately bring them to our emperor, and our sects will receive a luxurious reward from him.”

”Iʼve found Prince Lian and Huang Ziyuanʼs location, so weʼll go there to meet them now.” After she said that, He Ya grabbed Du Sheʼs shoulder and used her vanishing mirage steps, taking him away to the location of the two men.

A while later, He Ya and Du She arrived at the residence rented by Huangfu Ziyuan, and they immediately met him and Huangfu Lian.

ʼThese foolish people! They shouldnʼt have come to us!ʼ Huangfu Ziyuan and Huangfu Lian promptly notified Zhang Fei about their arrival.

After he got the information, Zhang Fei immediately checked his map to check on them. He was certain that He Ya and Du She would not come alone, so he notified Xian Feng, who promptly instructed Old Feng and his other aides to track the whereabouts of the two intrudersʼ disciples.

Then, Zhang Fei immediately met Shang Yumei and took her away to the residence, but they did not immediately capture He Ya and Du She. Instead, he brought her into an invisible state, eavesdropping on their conversation from the roof.

”Why did you two come here?” Huangfu Ziyuan asked them.

Du She shrugged before responding. ”Isnʼt this your fault? Emperor Shou ordered you to help Prince Lian capture a brat with cultivation in the 2-Star Earth Realm, but you still havenʼt succeeded in doing so. Therefore, he sent me and He Ya here to help you, and our disciples have moved now.”

”What are you two planning?” Huangfu Lian asked, looking calm but also tense in his heart.

He Ya answered him first. ”Prince Lian, we have contacted our disciples, but they have not given us a reply. I ordered my disciples to infiltrate the Xian Palace, especially since I was certain that Xian Feng had already captured and imprisoned them there.”

”I ordered my disciples to mix my crimson fang poison into their water source, and they would be paralyzed after they drank the water.” Du She casually replied.

ʼThis guy is looking for death!ʼ Huangfu Ziyuan and Huangfu Lian screamed in their hearts.

As they expected, a powerful aura immediately descended and suppressed He Ya and Du She, causing both of them to fall to the floor directly.

Du She was completely shocked by the pressure, especially considering he couldnʼt move a single finger. ʼFuck! Where did this powerful pressure come from? Xian Feng is not stronger than Emperor Shou, so he canʼt possibly suppress us to this extent.ʼ

ʼShit! I should have guessed that these two men were bait! But who owns this powerful pressure?ʼ He Ya inwardly muttered with an expression full of shock.

*Tap... Tap...*

Huangfu Ziyuan and Huangfu Lian were surprised to see the ownerʼs footsteps, making them wonder, ʼWho is this woman? How could her aura be so oppressive?ʼ

Shang Yumei looked at Huangfu Ziyuan and Huangfu Lian with disdain. She then kneeled beside He Ya and Du She, sealing their cultivation, making both of them even more helpless. ”What are you going to do with them, darling?”

”I expected them to come sooner or later, but I havenʼt thought of a plan for them yet.” He Ya and Du She immediately looked at Zhang Fei in shock. After all, his cultivation was still at the 2-Star Earth Realm, but he was able to obtain the heart of a powerful cultivator like Shang Yumei. ”I donʼt need this guy, but I canʼt kill him either, especially since heʼs one of Huangfu Shouʼs confidants. Even so, I can use him to do something against the evil emperor, and he will definitely never notice.”

”Are you going to enslave him?” Shang Yumeiʼs question made Du She trembled heavily, especially considering how miserable being a slave was for him.

”No.” Zhang Fei then squatted at Du Sheʼs side. ”You are curious about my other abilities, right? I will show you the most interesting one, and you will definitely be shocked.”

”Is that one of your abilities as a lust demon?” Shang Yumeiʼs question shocked the four people, especially since they could not feel the demon aura from Zhang Feiʼs body.

”Yeah.” Zhang Fei nodded and touched Du Sheʼs body. However, he first turned to Huangfu Lian. ”Which of your fatherʼs concubines has a cultivation equal to this guyʼs?”

”Huh?” Zhang Feiʼs question confused Huangfu Lian, but he told him anyway. ”Ruo Yanxi has the same cultivation as Du She, and my father is very fond of her.”

”Show me her image.” Huangfu Lian immediately approached Zhang Fei and shared his memories of Ruo Yanxi with him. ”Oh? It is unsurprising that your father is fond of her. Although she is quite attractive and seductive, she is still inferior to Yumei.

Shang Yumei snorted. ”Humph! You shouldnʼt compare women from this small realm with me, especially since they will never be able to match me.”

”Hahaha! You are indeed my sexy and seductive little fox, and I always enjoy myself with you.” Zhang Fei then looked at Du She, whose face had turned pale with fear. He then took a cloth and stuffed it directly into his mouth, aware that the process would be extremely painful and he didnʼt want people to hear his screams. ”Iʼll do it now.”

”Hmm.” Du She instantly grimaced as Zhang Fei used the body modification ability on him, which caused his entire body to be engulfed in excruciating pain. ʼUgh! What did he do to me?ʼ

Shang Yumei raised her eyebrows slightly as she watched Du Sheʼs body begin to change. His muscular body gradually shrank, causing several other parts of his body to undergo changes, including the disappearance of his Adamʼs apple.

Huangfu Lian and Huangfu Ziyuan took a deep breath, and their expressions looked horrified as they watched Du Sheʼs change. He Ya, who was still under the pressure of Shang Yumeiʼs aura, also looked horrified.

Half an hour later, Huangfu Lian and Huang Ziyuan instantly collapsed onto their buttocks, their gazes fixed solely on Du She. Their bodies trembled, and cold sweat drenched them.

He Ya and Shang Yumei were also shocked to the point of being speechless, and the atmosphere in the residence became completely silent.

”Hahaha.” Zhang Feiʼs laughter brought them back to their senses.

Shang Yumei immediately gave Zhang Fei a sharp look. ”Your abilities are too insane! Itʼs no surprise that you can deceive everyone about your age. You have the ability to transform a man into a woman.”

”Amazing, right? No cultivator has such an ability, and only a few types of demons have it.” Zhang Fei then turned to Huangfu Lian. ”Explain to me about Ruo Yanxiʼs character and demeanor.”

After Huangfu Lian explained to him in as much detail as possible, Zhang Fei immediately altered Du Sheʼs memories so that Huangfu Shou would not suspect him.

”Release him, Yumei.” Shang Yumei immediately withdrew her aura back from Du She. ”Go back to the Huangfu Kingdom! You must kidnap the original Ruo Yanxi, hide her in a safe place, and then take her place by Huangfu Shouʼs side. Additionally, you can administer the mildest poison you have to him, especially since I still need him alive.”

”Yes, Master.”

After Du She left, Huangfu Ziyuan and Huangfu Lian exchanged strange glances. They were sure that Huangfu Shou would never know that Ruo Yanxi by his side was not the real one, and imagining them doing intimate things made them feel strange.

Zhang Fei then turned to Huangfu Ziyuan and Huangfu Lian with a smirk. ”Does one of you want to be a woman? That way, you two can have fun with each other.”

”No! Please! We will obey all your orders, but donʼt do that to us.” Huangfu Ziyuan and Huangfu Lian speak with trembling voices.

Zhang Fei then turned to He Ya, but he did not enslave or change her memories. He simply duplicated her soul before merging it with his. ”Release her and unseal her cultivation, Yumei.”

”Are you sure thatʼs enough?” Shang Yumei inquired as she lifted He Ya to her feet.

”Yeah.” Zhang Fei nodded before speaking to He Ya. ”I didnʼt kill you because I needed you, but I can tell you that your life is in my hands now. I can kill you whenever I want, so you better think twice before going against me.”

He Ya took a deep breath. ”What do you need from me?”

”From now on, your Black Feng Sect is mine, and you must act according to my orders.” He Ya nodded to Zhang Fei. ”For the time being, I want some of your disciples to infiltrate the Huangfu royal palace to monitor Huangfu Shouʼs movements, and I want you to imprison Ruo Yanxi in the sect.”

”Yes... yes...”

”I will release your subordinates, including Xuan Cunhua. You can wait for them outside the capital.” After that, Zhang Fei took Shang Yumei back to the Xian royal palace, which relieved Huangfu Ziyuan and Huangfu Lian.

He Ya then asked them. ”Why donʼt you two report this to Emperor Shou?”

”Do you think we can do that?” Huangfu Ziyuan asked back with a frown. ”Zhang Fei has planted his slave mark into our souls, preventing us from leaking any information about him.”

Huangfu Lian also spoke to He Ya. ”If you and Du She hadnʼt met us, you guys would never have experienced such a terrible fate. Moreover, Zhang Fei is a madman, and his abilities are too absurd. Even if he didnʼt enslave you, I dare to bet that you wouldnʼt be able to do anything to defy his order.”

He Ya had already realized this, so she said nothing and left the two menʼs place. She waited for her disciples outside the Xian capital, as Zhang Fei had ordered.

When they arrived at the Xian royal palace, Xian Feng immediately informed Zhang Fei that his subordinates had captured all the disciples from both sects. ”What are your plans for them? What about Du She and He Ya?”

”You can release all the disciples of the Black Feng Sect and let them meet He Ya outside the capital.” Zhang Fei then informed Xian Feng of his plans for the sect. ”As for the disciples from the Venomous Serpent Sect, I donʼt need them, so you can execute them if you want, including Meng Yunjie.”

Xian Feng nodded in understanding. ”All right, I will release all the sects of the Black Feng Sect, but I will not execute the disciples of the Venomous Serpent Sect, and I will only imprison them.”

”You are an emperor, but your heart is too soft.” Shang Yumei expressed her thoughts with a shake of her head. ”Zhang Fei is much younger than you, but he is much more decisive and vicious than you. If you go to the upper realms with such a weak mentality and a weak heart, you will suffer losses yourself, and the people around you will also perish.ʼ

”Yumei has always been like this, so you shouldnʼt mind her words. Anyway, Iʼll take a short rest, and Iʼll prepare for my wedding with Qinʼer later.” Zhang Fei immediately took Shang Yumei away with him, but she repeatedly looked at Xian Feng with a look of disdain, especially since he was too weak for an emperor.

”She was right, and I was indeed too weak as an emperor.” Xian Feng then turned to leave and ordered his aides to bring all the disciples of the Black Feng Sect to meet He Ya outside the capital.

Before long, all the disciples of the Black Feng Sect, including Xuan Cunhua, stood in front of He Ya. Their expressions were filled with fear, and they feared that their sect master would punish them.

”Master, I—”

”You donʼt have to say anything.” He Ya immediately stopped Xuan Cunhua before rubbing her head. ”You are my best disciple, and Iʼm glad nothing bad happened to you.”

Xuan Cunhua felt relieved after hearing that. ”What are we going to do now, Master? Why did Emperor Xian suddenly release us from prison?”

”From now on, our sect is in Zhang Feiʼs control, so we will only move based on his orders.” He Yaʼs answer shocked all of them. ”You guys didnʼt witness what he did to Du She before, but I can tell you all that he is far more terrifying than Emperor Shou. You should not think about leaving our sect, especially since he has a way to find you all. If you do that, Iʼm afraid he will hunt you down and kill you all.”

The disciples glanced at each other before nodding to He Ya. Xuan Cunhua then asked their master. ”Does that mean Zhang Fei will be coming to our sect soon, Master?”

”Thatʼs for sure, but I donʼt know when heʼll come.” He Ya then turned to several other disciples. ”Ji Gou, we will return to our sect now, but I want you to bring Zi Liang and Chang Qi to infiltrate the Huangfu royal palace. However, your only responsibility is to monitor Emperor Shou closely, and you must immediately report to me if he makes any movements.”

”Yes, Master.”

”Letʼs go back.”

The day was getting late, but the Xian capital was becoming more lively and bustling, especially since the guests from the surrounding cities and other kingdoms who would attend the wedding had started to arrive.

One of these groups was the Han Clan from the Bai Kingdom. Since Zhang Fei told her that he was going to marry Xian Xianqin, Han Yuanzhi decided to take some of her family members to the Xian capital using their fastest flying artifact.

However, none of the other guests knew that Zhang Fei was going to marry Xian Xianqin, especially since he had asked Xian Feng and Shi Qingzhuang not to spread the news. Moreover, they were going to get married at the same time as Xian Xianwu and Yao Yin.
