Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 664: Discussion

Zhang Fei decided to take Xian Feng to the Xian Imperial Sect, and the Xian Emperor asked Xian Luo and Chao Yuanfeng to join them.

Beside them, Zhang Fei decided to pick up Yun Shang and Guo Xuehua, especially since they couldnʼt possibly face Zhou Xiaochuan and Huangfu Shou with their small numbers. However, he felt that they still needed other help, so he went to see Fa Zhen and Duan Zhao.

Although they did not want to get directly involved in the affairs between the kingdoms, Fa Zhen and Duan Zhao were also curious about Zhang Feiʼs plans, so they decided to join them.

Zhang Fei then called Feng Yao and Xian Changyue out of the training space. The presence of the Phoenix Princess shocked and excited them, especially since she was much stronger than all of them.

After they all gathered, Zhang Fei immediately told them about his plans to deal with Zhou Xiaochuan and Huangfu Shou. He also informed them about Huangfu Ziyuan, Huangfu Lian, Zhou Shenxin, Zhou Hanling, Zheng Mohei, and Ximen Yan, a revelation that shocked everyone except for Feng Yao and Xian Changyue.

Xian Feng and the others stared at Zhang Fei in stupefaction and shock, especially since all six of them had vital roles in their respective kingdoms, except for Zhou Shenxin.

”Do you intend to unite all the kingdoms and form a new kingdom?” Yun Shang posed this serious question.

”Emperor Yun, I have no interest in becoming an emperor. I am taking all these actions to ensure the peace of life for myself and those closest to me.” Not only did Zhang Fei want a peaceful life, but they all wanted the same thing. Unfortunately, the Huangfu and Zhou Kingdoms always brought problems to them, and they would never be able to find peace as long as both of them existed. ”I am not interested in matters between kingdoms, especially since this realm is not our last. I will take them to the upper realms in the future. We need strength to be able to go there, so we want to focus on our cultivation without any distractions. Unfortunately, Zhou Xiaochuan, Huangfu Shou, Ximen Changtian, and Ximen Gongfu continued to target me. Therefore, I have decided to eliminate them, starting with the Huangfu and Zhou Kingdoms, as they are the closest to us. Since you canʼt go near their island without turning into a demon, Iʼll handle both demon kingdoms.”

”Arenʼt you the same as us, Zhang Fei?” Xian Luo suddenly asked. ”You are a human like us, so the demon aura will turn you into a demon like them, right?”

Chao Yuanfeng, Fa Zhen, and Duan Zhao also looked at Zhang Fei in confusion. After all, the four of them did not know about his other two identities; only Xian Feng, Xian Xianwu, Yun Shang, and Guo Xuehua knew about both.

”Hehe.” Zhang Fei unleashed his light element and combined it with his light element law, resulting in an intensely bright room. ”I donʼt know the strength of the demon aura on their island, but I am confident that it wonʼt affect me. However, I will not attack them directly, and I will wait for Zhou Xiaochuan to create chaos in the two demon kingdoms.”

”Isnʼt Zhou Xiaochuan their ally? Why would he cause chaos in their kingdoms?” Chao Yuanfeng asked.

”Senior Chao, the situation is not as simple as you imagine.” Zhang Fei then told them something else. ”Zhou Xiaochuan has a relationship with Ximen Changtian and Ximen Gongfu not because of his own will but because he is the slave of a powerful demon, and his master wants to rule their kingdom for a special reason.”

”A powerful demon?”

”Ju Yingzhi came from the upper realm, and she came to this realm in a severely injured state, so she needed the demonic resources of the two realms to recover from her injuries.” Zhang Feiʼs answer surprised them all. ”Even though her strength is not 100 percent, she is still much stronger than all of you. She couldnʼt act alone for some reason, so she used Zhou Xiaochuan as her pawn. Fortunately, Feng Yao helped me capture her, and I sent her to another realm. Thatʼs why I no longer fear the Zhou Emperor, and I will patiently wait for him to carry out her orders before infiltrating both demon kingdoms.”

Xian Feng thought for a while before conveying his concerns. ”How are we going to attack the Zhou Kingdom? If I move my troops on a large scale, Zhou Xiaochuan and Huangfu Shouʼs spies will immediately learn about our movements and report this matter to them. Furthermore, my troops will need to make a detour to the Yun Kingdom to reach their destination, which will present an opportunity for the Huangfu Kingdom to attack us.”

”If that happens, this kingdom will have a hard time fighting back against the Huangfu Kingdomʼs troops.” Yun Shang added.

”Why should we go to open war with the Zhou Kingdom when we can use other means to weaken them gradually?” Xian Feng and the others turned to Zhang Fei, who immediately used his warp portal and created several portals through portal manipulation. ”I can send them through these portals, and we only need to send the strongest selected people to weaken them without them knowing.”

They sighed heavily and looked at Zhang Fei strangely, especially since he was the only one who had such an ability.

Fa Zhen then asked him. ”What exactly are your goals for the Zhou Kingdom, Kid? You want to fight them, but you donʼt want to destroy them, so I think you have other ideas about them.”

Duan Zhou also asked Zhang Fei, ”Do you want to use the Zhou Kingdom as your new base?”

”Youʼre right, Old Fa.” Zhang Fei replied. ”I donʼt want to use the Zhou Kingdom as my base; my base will remain in this kingdom. Instead, I want Zhou Shenxin to ascend as the Empress of the Zhou Kingdom to replace Zhou Xiaochuan.”

”Huh?” All of them gasped in shock, especially since Zhou Shenxin did not have an important role in the Zhou Kingdom, and the people of the kingdom would also reject her if she ascended as their empress.

”Zhou Shenxin is his future wife, so Zhang Fei wants her to succeed her father to lead the Zhou Kingdom.” Xian Changyue suddenly spoke.

”Hahaha.” Xian Feng laughed out loud as he realized Zhang Feiʼs plan. ”You want to unite all the kingdoms through marriage, huh? My daughter will marry you in a week, and Yun Xinyue has fallen in love with you, so Iʼm sure that she will also be your wife sooner or later. If Zhou Shenxin also becomes your wife and ascends to become the empress, the three kingdoms will be tied to you.”

”Honestly, I have no thoughts of uniting the kingdoms in marriage. I want Qinʼer, Xinyue, and Shenxin as my wives simply because I like them.” Zhang Fei then told them. ”The Zhou Kingdom will never change if other people replace Zhou Xiaochuan, and his successor will probably be even more vicious than him. Therefore, I want Shenxin to take over the throne, and I will help her from behind to change the situation; only then will we not have to be enemies with them anymore.”

”I think that is indeed the best choice for us.” Guo Xuehua said with a nod. ”If Zhou Shenxin becomes Zhang Feiʼs wife and the empress of the Zhou Kingdom, the three kingdoms can build a better relationship, and it will greatly reduce the tension. After that, we can attack the Huangfu Kingdom together and liberate the Bai Kingdom from Huangfu Shouʼs control, and the situation will be truly peaceful if it succeeds.”

”Are you also thinking about taking the daughters of Bai Yaowei and Huangfu Shou as your wives?” Zhang Fei turned his head toward Yun Shang. ”If you do that, we can stop the war once and for all. With no war, the five kingdoms can achieve balance, and everyone can live in peace.”

”Actually, Bai Shouyi is interested in me, but I am not interested in her, so I donʼt have that intention.” Zhang Fei suddenly remembered something. ”Anyway, I have already freed Linghu Yincheng from Huangfu Shouʼs control, and I have sent her to her three children. However, I have not been able to free Bai Yaowei, especially since the thing controlling him is extremely deadly. The only way to free him is to defeat the person behind the Huangfu Emperor, but Li Tiannan is going to the upper realms to find a cure for Huangfu Xiaomei and Huangfu Xiaoying, who are affected by something in the Star Tower.”

”Where did Li Tiannan come from? How could he make Huangfu Shou obey him? What is the reason he supports him?”

”Li Tiannan is a cultivator from the upper realms, specifically the Grand Royal Realm.” Zhang Fei then turned to Feng Yao. ”Do you know about that realm?”

Feng Yao nodded before explaining. ”Almost similar to this realm, the Grand Royal Realm has many kingdoms, but the situation there is much harsher, and wars occur every day without stopping. The Li Clan is a subsidiary clan of the Huangfu Clan in that realm, and the Huangfu in this realm are their direct descendants.”

”What?” Not only were they shocked by Feng Yaoʼs revelation, but Zhang Fei was also shocked to hear it.

”Haha.” Feng Yao softly laughed at Zhang Feiʼs expression. ”I told you not to underestimate the upper realm cultivators; they have done so many things the middle realm cultivators donʼt know about. The ancestors of the Huangfu Clan left many descendants in various realms, and they placed people from their subsidiary clans to protect them.”

”What is their purpose in doing that, Senior?”

”To ensure the survival of their clan.” Feng Yao then told them a few things about the Huangfu Clan in the Grand Royal Realm. ”Zhang Fei, if you want to fight the Huangfu Clan in this realm, you canʼt do it openly, or you will become the target of their ancestors.”

Zhang Fei frowned. ”Why didnʼt you tell me about them before?”

”Are you afraid of them?” Feng Yao responded to his question with a playful smile.

”No.” Zhang Fei shook his head in response. ”They are indeed powerful, but I donʼt need to be afraid of them. If I canʼt defeat them, I just need to retreat and enter seclusion. Once my strength increases, I will fight back against them. How strong are they compared to the Shang Clan?”

”The Huangfu Clanʼs strength is on par with the Murong Clan, so the Shang Clan is several times stronger than them.”

”Since they are weaker than the Shang Clan, I am even less afraid of them, but I will not underestimate them either. Since Huangfu Shou is their direct descendant, I had to rethink my plans against them, and I had to use other means to destroy them.” Zhang Fei then turned to Xian Feng and the others. ”You have all heard the situation, so we will focus on the Zhou Kingdom for now. However, I have a slight change of plan for Zhou Xiaochuan. I need to keep him alive to help Shenxin, or else Huangfu Shou will attack her if her father dies.”

”When are we going to move against the Zhou Kingdom?”

”You all should first select the best people from your two kingdoms, and you can inform me once they have been selected. Once they are ready, I will send them to the Zhou Kingdom, and we will begin our operation to weaken them.” Xian Feng and Yun Shang agreed with Zhang Fei and immediately thought of the names of people they could send to the battlefield. ”I still have other matters, so I will send you all back.”

After he sent Feng Yao and Xian Changyue back to the training space, Zhang Fei immediately sent Yun Shang, Guo Xuehua, Fa Zhen, and Duan Zhao back to their respective places. He then picked up Chu Xing and Wei Luan at the Xian Palace and took them to the Sky Jade Realm.

”Are you going to send Qifeng and Qinglin there, Brother?”

”The battlefield is the best place to temper ourselves, so I will send Qifeng and Qinglin there, and I will also send some other people.” Xian Luo then turned to Chao Yuanfeng. ”Old Chao, please call your disciples back, and we will send them there. Besides, I will talk to the other elders, and I will ask them to send their disciples.”

”Yes, Sect Master.” Chao Yuanfeng immediately contacted Ximen Chuixue and the others.

Afterward, Xian Feng returned to his palace, and Xian Luo met with the elders of the Xian Imperial Sect to prepare everything.

Three women are at the tailorʼs shop, with Xian Xianqin looking pleased as she chooses a wedding dress for her upcoming wedding with Zhang Fei. ʼHehe! To please him, I must find the best one.ʼ

Shi Qingzhuang smiled at her daughterʼs attitude. ”Why did Zhang Fei suddenly decide to marry you? Have you two taken a step further?”

*Puff*

Smoke emerged from Xian Xianqinʼs head as her face turned red, proving that Shi Qingzhuangʼs guess was correct.

”Haha.” Shi Qingzhuang softly laughed and cared for Xian Xianqinʼs head. ”What have you done with him?”

”Tell us, Qinʼer.” Yao Yin was also curious about that.

”Ugh! You two!” Xian Xianqin became more and more embarrassed, but she then told them about the progress of her relationship with Zhang Fei in a low voice.

”That kid is crazy.” Shi Qingzhuang expressed her opinion by shaking her head. ”If he gets out of control and eats you directly, he will immediately explode due to your virgin Yin Qi, and all of you will suffer.”

Xian Xianqin nodded to her mother. ”At first, I was also concerned about that, but my worries were unfounded because he was able to control himself.”

”Why did you allow him to do that? Didnʼt you only want to do it after you got married? Was it painful the first time?” Yao Yin inquired with curiosity.

”After he brought Qiang Ying back to me, my heart was truly relieved. I couldnʼt wait to be his woman, so I let him do it.” Xian Xianqin turned to Yao Yin. ”If you want to know whether it hurts or not, you can try it with my brother.”

Yao Yin blushed with embarrassment. ”Weʼre getting married in a week, so Iʼll wait for that day to come.”

Shi Qingzhuang was thrilled to see her daughter-in-law, and she felt pleased because her two children had found partners of their choice. ”So which wedding dress will you choose?”

”That wedding dress.” Xian Xianqin pointed to a simple red wedding dress on the clothes rack. Zhang Fei and I prefer simple ones, and this one is the simplest among the others, so I want to wear it for our wedding.”

Shi Qingzhuang immediately took the wedding dress; she and Yao Yin observed it for a while before matching it to Xian Xianqinʼs body.

”Mother, I think this wedding dress suits Qinʼer.”

”You are right, Yinʼer. Qinʼer will look beautiful and elegant in this wedding dress.” Shi Qingzhuang then instructed the shopkeeper to measure Xian Xianqinʼs body and asked her to complete the dress within five days.

After everything was settled, Shi Qingzhuang took the two women to other places, especially since they still had to prepare many additional things.

After he sent Wei Luan and Chu Xing to the Hidden Sea Palace, Zhang Fei first went to see Shen Hao at the Yin-Yang Pavilion Sect. The old man gave him a lot of jewels of three different colors from the sales of his shop in Southern River City, and he also asked him to add more stock to his shop.

After that, Zhang Fei went to Heavenly Sword City in the Western Region to meet someone from the Demon Fox Group. There, he collected the sales from his shop and restaurant.

After some time, Zhang Fei reached the Central Region, precisely where the Fallen Moon Cave was located. Unlike on his previous visit, the ice had receded from the area, and he sensed that the caveʼs Qi was already thinning.

”Did you come here to pick up your big sister?” Feng Jinqiu, who had just arrived, questioned him.
