Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 169: Against Two Clans I

In another area of the Chu Clan, Zhang Fei and Zhao Ziqin were standing side by side, and he openly explained to her about Huan Ningʼs intention to kill him, which was based on her desire to help Zhao Yun get Chu Ying.

Zhao Ziqinʼs expression became complicated after listening to everything, and she never expected that her mother had repeatedly sent people to kill Zhang Fei. ”Are you approaching me because you want to use me to take revenge on them?”

”No.” Zhang Fei immediately denied this. ”That night, I came to your clan with the sole intention of teaching your mother and big brother a lesson, but I saw you sad and lonely, so I decided to approach you. Moreover, you already knew my other identity, so I knew from the start that you were different from them, and I could see that you had a pure soul.

Thatʼs why I didnʼt have such a plan for you; I approached you because I wanted you to be my woman.”

”Did you really not plan anything against me that night?” Zhang Fei responded to her question with a head shake, and Zhao Ziqin asked him again. ”What exactly did you do to them that night? Since that day, my mother has kept herself locked up in her room, and my brother also acted strangely when I asked him about her.”

”Haha.” Zhang Fei laughed awkwardly and turned to her. ”Do you really want to know what I did to them that night?”

”Yes.” After thinking about it, Zhang Fei decided to tell her the truth, making Zhao Ziqin stare at him in shock, especially since he had done something crazy by influencing her mother and brother to have sex. ”Fei, you are truly insane! Your actions towards them were truly excessive.”

”I knew you would think that.” Zhang Fei then fell silent for a moment before speaking to her again. ”Actually, your mother is not as good as you always think, and she has even had sex with Xuan Yu in the past few days.”

”Are you serious?” Zhao Ziqin inquired with a look of disbelief.

”I donʼt need to lie to you.” Zhang Fei then explained to her about the reports of spies from the Hua Assassins who infiltrated the Zhao Clan, shocking Zhao Ziqin even more. ”I decided to talk to you about this matter because I have decided to take action against Huan Ning, especially since she has repeatedly tried to kill me and has summoned the Gu Assassins higher-ups just to kill me.”

”Are you going to kill my mother, Fei?” Zhao Ziqin inquired in a tone of uncertainty, and she was in a dilemma about whether to side with him or her mother.

”Yes.” Without any hesitation, Zhang Fei uttered those words before grabbing her shoulders. ”I know how you feel about this matter, but your mother was the one who started all this by sending those assassins to kill me, so I will never spare her.

To tell you the truth, I killed my big brother with my own hands, mainly because he kidnapped one of the people closest to me and collaborated with several people to kill me.”

As she continued to stare at him, Zhao Ziqin clenched both of her fists tightly, and her emotions were in complete turmoil after hearing his answer. After all, Huan Ning was her mother, and Zhang Fei was the man she chose to be her husband, so she didnʼt want her to die in his hands.

Zhang Fei let out a soft sigh and hugged her. ”Iʼm sorry, Ziqin. I know that my decision put you in a complicated situation, but I will never change it. Furthermore, you should already be aware that your family doesnʼt care about you and only sees you as a tool to fulfill their ambitions, so I hope you can decide whatʼs best for your future.

Even if you hate me after this, I will still kill Huan Ning.”

After he said that, Zhang Fei released Zhao Ziqin from his embrace and sent a message to Boitata to follow him. He also asked his other women to comfort her before disappearing from her sight.

Shortly after his departure, Zhang Lin, along with several other women, approached Zhao Ziqin. ”Big Sis, all actions have consequences, and your mother has tried to kill my big brother again and again, so she has to bear the consequences for her actions.”

”Linʼerʼs right, Ziqin.” Chu Ying also spoke to her. ”The source of this problem lies with your mother, and this kind of situation would never have happened if she didnʼt send those assassins to kill Fei.”

Chu Qing also stepped in to persuade Zhao Ziqin. ”Big Sis, your family doesnʼt even care about your feelings, and they forced you to marry Xuan Yu for their status, so you donʼt have to think about their fate. If you choose them, then you wonʼt be able to refuse their wishes, and you will lose Fei forever.”

”Moreover, you already know a lot about Fei, and you should already know which of them is better for you.” Ye Lian then put her arm around Zhao Ziqingʼs shoulders. ”Thatʼs why you should think things over carefully, lest you regret taking the wrong decision.”

Naturally, Zhao Ziqin understood the truth of their words, and her family never cared about her feelings. Even so, they were still her family, and she didnʼt have the heart to see them die at the hands of the man she chose, which would make her continue to feel guilty if that really happened.

”Iʼm sorry, but I want to think things over first, and I want to try to persuade my mother to stop her action, so I will return to my clan right now.”

Afterwards, Zhao Ziqin hurriedly left the Chu Clan, and none of them had any intention of stopping her. After all, they had tried to convince her, but the decision for her future lay in her own hands, and they couldnʼt force her to choose between Zhang Fei and her family.

”What do you think will happen to her?” Ye Lian questioned the three women.

Chu Ying was the first to respond by shaking her head. ”I canʼt say for sure, but they will probably lock her up in their clan, and we canʼt do anything to help her, especially since our cultivation is still too low compared to those people. If we follow her to the Zhao Clan now, then they might capture us, and we will add trouble for Fei, so we can only wait here.”

”Even so, we have to tell Fei about this matter, Big Sis. That way, he can think of a way to help her, or else Xuan Yu will take her away.” Chu Ying nodded in agreement with Chu Qing, so she immediately sent a voice transmission to Zhang Fei and informed him of Zhao Ziqinʼs decision.

Zhang Fei, who had arrived above the Li Clan, let out a heavy sigh after hearing Chu Yingʼs message. Even so, he couldnʼt blame Zhao Ziqin for deciding to return to her clan, but he chose to ignore it and focus on his goals first.

Zhang Fei then opened his map to spot the locations of the clanʼs people, and he used his divine senses to check them directly. ”Heh! They seem to still be fast asleep, so this will make it easier for me to act on them.”

[Are you going to move now, Master?]

”Yeah, Iʼll take care of them right now, and I hope none of them have sensor abilities, or it will be troublesome for me.” Zhang Fei then turned to Boitata, who was standing beside him. ”Wait here, and you only need to act if Iʼm in danger.”

”All right.” Boitata answered with a nod.

After that, Zhang Fei immediately used his invisibility ability to infiltrate the Li clan, and his first destination was Li Mingʼs room.

When he arrived there, Zhang Fei smiled faintly, approached Li Ming on his bed, and sealed his cultivation before knocking him unconscious. However, he was hesitant to use the heart fissure pills that Liu Hua gave him, especially since he didnʼt want to kill them too soon and wanted to torture them first. ʼHey, Mei! Are there any useful pills in the shop?ʼ

[Hmm? There is one pill that is quite useful, Master. The name of the pill is the crippling pill, and it will cripple their cultivation instantly if they swallow it.]

ʼYouʼre really cruel, huh? However, I like your idea, so you can buy the pill now.ʼ

[Alrighty.]

{You got Crippling Pill x5}

{25,000 Red Jewels have been deducted from your balance.}

After he took it, Zhang Fei immediately put the pill into Li Mingʼs mouth and forced him to swallow it, and he then waited for the pillʼs effect to take effect first. Even so, he didnʼt have to wait too long, and he could already feel that his cultivation was slowly disappearing. ʼTch! That pill is too terrifying, and its effects work so quickly!ʼ

After Li Ming became crippled, Zhang Fei took him to another room, which was Li Lianʼs room. He felt relieved after entering the room, especially since she was still sleeping soundly and didnʼt notice his presence. ʼShow her status, Mei.ʼ

ʼOh?ʼ When Zhang Fei saw Chu Hongʼs name on Li Lianʼs status, he was momentarily stunned. ʼHey, I didnʼt expect that she was interested in Qingyuʼs husband, so itʼs no surprise that she hates her, and she hates Huaʼer definitely because of her actions towards her nephew.ʼ

[What will you do to this woman, Master? Are you going to implant your demon slave mark on her?]

ʼNo.ʼ Zhang Fei immediately rejected that. ʼMei, look at her status. Sheʼs almost as old as Qingyu and Huaʼer, but her cultivation still hasnʼt broken through to the Earth Realm, and her other stats are also low-level, which means her talent in cultivation isnʼt comparable to theirs, so she wonʼt be of any use to me.ʼ

[Well, thatʼs true. Liu Huaʼs talent is actually better than Liu Qingyu, and she is not inferior to Zhang Lingxue, but she fell under Pang Hongʼs control for so long, so her cultivation was unable to improve, or else she would have been much stronger now.]

In the end, Zhang Fei decided to seal Li Lianʼs cultivation, but she suddenly opened her eyes as soon as she felt his touch. However, she felt confused because she didnʼt see anyone there, so she immediately sat on the side of the bed and tried to check around her room, but her face turned pale after realizing that her cultivation was sealed.

”Are you confused by that?” Zhang Fei inquired as he appeared in front of Li Lian, but he immediately grabbed her by the neck as soon as she was about to scream. ”Hey, you certainly didnʼt think that I would allow you to alert them, right? For now, you are still useful to me, so I wonʼt kill you outright.

However, you and the members of this clan are already vassals of the Pang Clan, and you guys are planning to poison my wives in the Chu Clan, so all of you have to pay a heavy price for it.”

After listening to Zhang Feiʼs words, Li Lian was in shock, and she grabbed her hand to try to remove her stranglehold from her neck, but she didnʼt have the ability to do so with her sealed cultivation. ”Ugh! Who are you? How did you manage to sneak in here? Why did you do this to me?”
