Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 156: Visit Zhao Ziqin

Currently, Ye Lian was sitting in front of a middle-aged woman named Yan Huanʼer, who was none other than her mother. However, she was more curious about Boitata, who was coiled casually in his daughterʼs arms, and she certainly recognized her rank. ”Where did you get that divine beast, Linʼer?”

”Haha.” Ye Lian laughed softly while rubbing the snakeʼs head. ”Her name is Boitata, and she is Zhang Feiʼs contract beast.”

”Oh?” Yan Huanʼer was shocked to learn this. ”As I recall, you and your little brother told me a few days ago that Zhang Feiʼs cultivation was still in the body realm. So how was he able to subdue this divine beast?”

Ye Lian was not surprised by her motherʼs question, especially since no cultivator at that level would be able to fight against a divine beast, let alone make a contract with it. ”Mother, as I said before, Zhang Fei went to Blazing Volcano with the others and met Boitata there.

Furthermore, youʼve personally heard that he freed Aunt Hua from Pang Hongʼs control, enabling her to reunite with her family, so thereʼs no reason to question his abilities, right?”

”Why do I feel that you are deliberately keeping everything about Zhang Fei a secret from me?” Ye Lian responded to her motherʼs question by sticking out her tongue, causing Yan Huanʼer to sigh softly.

”Honestly, I still find it hard to believe that he could free Liu Hua with his low cultivation, especially since Pang Hong was powerful and no other cultivator had ever managed to free people who had fallen under his control. Moreover, this divine beast is much stronger than him, and she is stronger than me and your father, so Iʼm really curious how he was able to subdue her.”

”Mother, I donʼt have the right to reveal Zhang Feiʼs secrets to anyone, including you, so you can ask him directly when he comes here tomorrow.” Ye Lian paused for a few moments before reminding Yan Huanʼer. ”Anyway, you have to be careful when you meet him, lest you be charmed by his charm, and my father will suffer if you fall for him.”

Yan Huanʼer looked at her daughter dumbfoundedly, as she didnʼt expect that Ye Lian would say such a thing to her, but she immediately shook her head. ”I donʼt understand how you could fall for Zhang Fei, especially since I havenʼt met him in person.

However, I am different from you, and your father is the right man for me, so I will never fall for another man, let alone the young man who has captivated my daughter.”

”Haha.” Ye Lian laughed while listening to her mother. ”Gezz! I was just joking with you, mother. I know that you will never turn your back on my father, so you donʼt need to be so serious.”

”So what do you plan to do with your relationship with Gu Zhan? Are you sure about canceling your engagement with him?”

”Yes.” Ye Lian responded with a determined nod. ”Gu Zhan has many intimate relationships with my sect sisters, but I know that he only uses them for fun, so I donʼt want to have a husband like him.”

Yan Huanʼer, who had frequently heard about Gu Zhanʼs affair, was unsurprised by her daughterʼs decision and decided to support it. However, she later questioned Ye Lian again. ”Doesnʼt Zhang Fei also have several wives? Chu Ying and Chu Qing are already married to him; not to mention, Liu Hua is also married to him, right? So whatʼs the difference between him and Gu Zhan?”

”Youʼre not wrong about that, Mother.” Ye Lian answered with a nod. ”In fact, Zhang Fei now has several women, including the three of them. However, he is different from Gu Zhan in that he doesnʼt play with or deceive their feelings, and he is very serious about his relationship with them.

Moreover, Iʼve spent several days with them, so I know that he treats them equally and fairly, which makes me confident in accepting him as my husband.” (A/N: She said a few days because Yan Huanʼer didnʼt know about Zhang Fei coming from Earth, and three days had already passed since she went with him there.)

Yan Huanʼer fell silent as she looked at her daughterʼs face, believing that Ye Lian had completely fallen for Zhang Fei. Moreover, she could also feel a manʼs yang qi inside her body, which means they had been intimate before, even though she was still a virgin until now.

”I heard that Gu Zhan had returned yesterday, and your father had also agreed with your decision to cancel your engagement with him. Thatʼs why I thought it would be better if we went to the Gu Clan today and discussed this matter with Xing Mei, so your relationship with him doesnʼt drag on, and you can be with the man of your choice.”

Ye Lianʼs expression turned excited after she heard that. ”Anyway, donʼt we have to wait for my father and Uncle Gu Tong to return from the Demon Cave in the northern region?”

”No need.” Yan Huanʼer responded by shaking her head. ”I donʼt know when they will return from the Demon Cave, especially since they must strengthen the seal that seals the demon portal, or else the demons from other realms will invade our realm again, like in the past.

Moreover, your father has already told me that he will talk to Gu Tong about this matter, and he asked me to talk to Xing Mei, so we will go to the Gu Clan now.”

Hearing that, Ye Lian immediately rose from her seat and walked behind Yan Huanʼer, hugging her mother from behind. ”Mother, I am incredibly grateful to have parents like you two. Both of you always understand and support me, even though sometimes my decisions are not in line with your hopes.”

”You are our daughter, and we naturally have to think about your feelings, and we always hope that you will be happy.” Yan Huanʼer then stood up and faced her daughter. ”Moreover, we know you are not a careless person, and you always consider everything seriously before you make a decision, so we will always support your decision.

Unfortunately, your little brotherʼs mindset is still childish, so he never thinks seriously, and he always makes a fuss wherever he goes. Anyway, he still seems angry with Zhang Fei, especially after he beat him up at their first meeting.”

”Haha.” Ye Lian burst into laughter, recalling the look on Ye Huangʼs face after Zhang Fei had beaten him up. ”Mother, I think I can do something about my little brother, but I will need Feiʼerʼs help for that.”

”What do you plan to do for Hangʼer?” Yan Huanʼer inquired, raising her eyebrows slightly.

Ye Lian just smiled and pulled her mother away with her. ”You donʼt need to worry about him, Mother. Iʼm sure that my little brother will change after Feiʼer trains him, and he may change for the better in the future.”

Zhang Fei immediately checked the situation within the Zhao Clan when he arrived, but he did not find Zhao Yun, and he was in another city with Ye Hang. Regarding Huan Ning, he discovered her still secluded in her room, displaying a persistent sense of unease about her circumstances.

However, Zhang Fei immediately ignored Huan Ning and looked for Zhao Ziqin, using his teleportation once he found her.

Before long, Zhang Fei had arrived at Zhao Ziqinʼs room, but she was painting his half-fox figure with a longing look, and there was a small two-tailed fox at the bottom. ʼThis girl has strong memories, huh? Sheʼs only seen my half-fox form once, including my fox form, but he can paint both in such detail.ʼ

Zhang Fei then decided to change into his half-fox form before hugging Zhao Ziqin from behind, startling her, but her expression changed to joy once she turned back and saw him. She immediately stood up and faced Zhang Fei, hugging his neck while burying her face in his chest, but tears fell from her eyes. ”Sob... Sob...

Iʼve been waiting for you for four days, but you never came, and I thought you had forgotten me, Fei.”

”Iʼm sorry, Iʼve made you sad.” Zhang Fei gently answered while hugging and rubbing Zhao Ziqingʼs back. ”Iʼve had a lot of business in the past few days, so I was only able to see you today.”

”Sob... Itʼs okay.” Zhao Ziqin shook his head while speaking. ”Sob... Iʼm glad you finally came to see me, so Iʼm not sad anymore, and I hope you can accompany me.”

”Yeah, Iʼll accompany you today.” Zhang Fei then carried Zhao Ziqing like a princess before laying her on the bed, and he lay beside her while continuing to hug her. ”However, I still have a lot of other things to do, so I have to leave again tomorrow, but I will definitely come to see you again.”

Hearing that, Zhao Ziqin looked up at Zhang Fei and wiped her tears. ”Where are you going? Are you going to continue living in the forest?”

Zhang Fei inwardly laughed when he heard that, because Zhao Ziqin really thought that he was a wild fox. However, he didnʼt intend to tell her the truth yet, and he wanted to observe the situation in the Zhao Clan and Huan Ningʼs future plans first. ”My house is in the forest, so I have to go back there.”

”I see.” Zhao Ziqin nodded in understanding before placing a short kiss on Zhang Feiʼs lips. ”Honestly, I want to go with you to the forest, but my mother will be furious if she finds out about my relationship with you, and she will send people to chase and kill you.”

ʼYour mother already tried to kill me twice, you know? Unfortunately, her efforts were in vain, and I have killed everyone she sent to kill me.ʼ Zhang Fei muttered inwardly with a sneer. ”Itʼs okay; we donʼt need to rush, right? In the future, after I become stronger, I will take you away with me, and no one will be able to stop me, including your mother.”

”En.” After hearing that, Zhao Ziqin nodded with a smile and laid her head on Zhang Feiʼs chest. ”Do you already have another woman, Fei?”

”Do you mind if I have another woman?”

”Not really.” Zhao Ziqin shook his head slightly. ”We are cultivators, and polygamous relationships are quite normal among us. Even my two grandfathers also had several wives, so I donʼt think too much about such a relationship. Moreover, I already considered you as my future husband after you did such things to me that night, so I will learn to accept it if you already have another woman.”

ʼCompared to her evil mother, this girl is much kinder, and I donʼt find any dark side in her heart.ʼ Zhang Fei then told Zhao Ziqin about the number of his women, but he didnʼt reveal their identities in detail, especially since Huan Ning didnʼt seem to like the Chu Clan.

”I didnʼt expect that you have so many women, Fei.” Zhang Fei could hear the disappointment in Zhao Ziqinʼs voice, but he felt that it was natural for her to feel that way. ”Do they know each other? Is their relationship very good?”

Zhang Fei nodded and answered her directly. ”In fact, they live in the same place now, and their relationship is very good, so you donʼt need to worry about them because they will warmly accept you if you become my woman in the future.”

”I hope so.”

*Knock... Knock...*

Suddenly, someone knocked on Zhao Ziqinʼs door from outside. ”Young miss, Madam Huan asked you to go see her now.”
