Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 154: Tree Control

Two cars arrived at the house, and one of them was Hong Yao. The other one was a female doctor who was contacted by Zhang Chen, and she came along with two nurses. They were shocked to see Zhang Haiʼs condition, which was like a living corpse, with his eyes not shining at all. ʼWhat happened to him?

Could it be that he already knows about his wife and sonʼs illicit relationship?ʼ ”Ji Yunyi, it seems like your task is really difficult, and you will have a hard time recovering him.”

Ji Yunyi nodded in agreement with that. ”I donʼt know what happened to him, but his condition is really bad, and he probably wonʼt be able to recover to normal. Even if he has a chance to recover, it will definitely take a very long time.”

When he heard that, Zhang Chen immediately spoke to her. ”You can take my son to your mental hospital, Yunyi, and I hope you can take good care of him. As for all his needs, you can contact Hanzhi, and she will take care of everything.”

”Aunt Chen, you donʼt need to worry about him; I will assign the best people to take care of him.” Ji Yunyi then turned to the two nurses to put Zhang Hai into their car. ”In that case, I will take him away right away, and I will also communicate this matter with Zhang Hanzhi.”

After they left, Hong Yao pulled Zhang Fei into his room and asked him. ”Did you do anything to my little brother? He hasnʼt come home since two days ago, and I canʼt contact him either.”

”I killed Hong Ming.” Hong Yao instantly froze after hearing his cold reply, but Zhang Fei immediately told her the reason behind his decision. ”I will never spare anyone who has evil intentions for those closest to me, and he will make other plans against Guo Lan if I let him live. As for you, I will leave the decision in your hands, but you certainly know which one is best for you, right?”

After hearing that, Hong Yao shivered in the cold, and she felt that Zhang Fei had changed quite a bit compared to the last time they met. The current himappears increasingly icy, resembling a true demon.

”Anyway, I want you to contact Huang Rong, and I want you to coordinate with each other.” Hong Yao looked at Zhang Fei in confusion. ”I sent Qin Feng, Qin Zhu, Lu Xin, and Yu Xixuan to the demon realm. Besides, I also sent all the members of the Azure Dragon Squad there, and their disappearance would bring panic to the government.”

Hong Yao took a deep breath, speechless, especially since Zhang Feiʼs number of victims was too many this time. Even though she didnʼt know anything about the demon realm, she believed that it wasnʼt a friendly place, and it was definitely much worse than Earth, which would make those people suffer. ”What will happen to them?”

Her question actually made Zhang Fei stunned, especially since he himself didnʼt know what would happen to Qin Feng and the others in the Netherworld Realm. But Mei explained it to him straight away, and he then gave Hong Yao the same answer. ”If they donʼt die, they will gradually become demons like me.

Unfortunately, I donʼt know anything about that demon realm or the demons that inhabit it, but they seem to be much more powerful than me, so they probably wouldnʼt be able to survive there.”

After hearing that, Hong Yao massaged her forehead, especially since Zhang Fei seemed unconcerned with the fate of those people. ”This matter is too big, so I have to go back now to take care of everything. However, I need Huang Rongʼs help to do that, so I will contact her on the way.”

”All right.” Zhang Fei himself had no intention of stopping Hong Yao, especially since he wanted to go to the Sky Jade Realm again, but he still had to wait for the other two women, so he lay on his bed while thinking about his next plans. ”I will stay there three to four days before coming back, and I will ask Janette to take me to Diyu Realm directly tomorrow.”

[Master, why donʼt you go to Netherworld Realm directly, compared to Diyu Realm?]

”I want to go to the Netherworld Realm, but Iʼm still too weak, so I donʼt want to waste my life in vain because many people will be sad if I die.”

[In that case, you should try to increase your demon rank even faster, Master.]

Zhang Fei naturally wanted that, but human women could only give him 100 female essences. Thatʼs why he decided to go to Diyu Realm to look for female demons, especially since a demon at viscount rank like Janette could give him 500 female essences, so he wanted to look for those with a higher rank than her.

Suddenly, Zhang Yue entered his room, followed by Janette, and she immediately sat on the side of the bed while talking to Zhang Fei. ”Lin already told me about our father, but I didnʼt expect that you would show him your relationship, which made him go crazy.”

”Are you going to blame me, Big Sis?”

”No.” Zhang Yue answered by shaking her head. ”He treated you badly, and they have warned him repeatedly, but he is too stubborn and unwilling to change. Even though Iʼm sad about his condition, heʼs at least still alive now, and itʼs much better than having him die in your hands like Zhang He.”

”Thank you, Big Sis.” Zhang Fei then sat by Zhang Yueʼs side, pulling Janette onto her lap, and kissed her lips in front of her big sister, whose expression turned jealous seeing her like that.

[Ding]

[You succeeded in mimicking the tree control of a Dryad named Janette.]

After the notification appeared in his mind, Zhang Fei immediately stopped their kiss and read the description of the tree control ability.

[Tree control: The user can control plants for attack, defense, and protection. Besides, users can also accelerate plant growth.]

Janette, who was confused by Zhang Fei, asked him. ”Why did you suddenly stop? Is it because Yue is beside us?”

”No.” Zhang Fei then lowered Janette from his lap before pulling them to the side of his bedroom window, and he stretched his arms forward before using the Tree Control, which made the plants around their house grow rapidly, some of them even dancing.

Janette was shocked after seeing that, especially since only a Dryad like her could do that, but Zhang Fei was able to do it. ”How... how can you do such a thing?”

”What actually happened, Fei? How did you make those plants like that?” Zhang Yue inquired curiously, but she appeared excited to see them dancing.

”I mimicked your ability, and I gained your ability to control plants.” Unlike Zhang Yue, who continued to look at the dancing plants with excitement, Janette looked at Zhang Fei in confusion, as she had never heard of a demon being able to imitate another demonʼs abilities. ”You donʼt need to be confused by that, especially since Iʼm different from other demons.”

”What an absurd demon!” Janette expressed this while shaking her head. ”As an incubus, my charm ability, as well as my shapeshifting and life absorption abilities, are useless to you.” Moreover, you are also a cultivator, and you might want to learn alchemy in the future, so I wouldnʼt be surprised if you chose my tree control ability.”

Zhang Fei just smiled hearing that because he never thought about becoming an alchemist, mainly because he had the system and there were so many precious pills there. Unfortunately, he couldnʼt buy them yet because many of them were very expensive, and many of them required jewels of other colors besides red, so he could only be patient in buying them.

After that, Zhang Fei took the two women to meet the women who were waiting for them, and they went straight to the Sky Jade Realm as soon as Mei opened the gate to go there.

As usual, the two python-tailed tigresses immediately welcomed Zhang Feiʼs arrival by jumping at him before licking him excitedly, making the women laugh out loud seeing them like that. ʼSigh, beasts really canʼt be compared to ordinary animals on Earth, and they will definitely become as big as adult lions in the near future.ʼ

Ye Lian directly spoke to him. ”Fei, Iʼm going back to my clan now, or else my mother will worry about me. I hope you can visit my clan as soon as possible because she wants to meet you.”

”Donʼt worry, I will go to your clan tomorrow to meet your mother.” Zhang Fei then stood up and hugged Ye Lian before kissing her lips. ”Anyway, how is your relationship with Gu Zhan?”

”I donʼt know whether Gu Zhan has returned to his clan or not, so I will ask my mother about this first, and I hope he has returned, or else our relationship will continue to drag on.”

Zhang Fei immediately took Boitata and Jin Yuan out of his beast space, and he asked the snake beast to go with Ye Lian. ”I want you to protect her when I am not by her side, and you can kill anyone who intends to harm her.”

”I know, master.” Boitata then coiled her body in Ye Lianʼs arms, and they left the Chu Clan.

Zhang Chen and Qing Yi also left the clan to head to their restaurant. Zhong Yan and Ru Xue decided to go to their shop to check their inventory. On the other hand, Zhang Lin, the Chu Sisters, Xu Lingʼer, and Jin Yuan entered the qi gathering formation to cultivate, especially since they had been absent from cultivating for days.

Zhang Fei wanted to take Zhang Yue and Janette, who looked amazed at the residence, to another area. However, Liu Hua suddenly appeared in front of them, and she looked at the dryad with a look of hostility, especially since she could recognize her identity as a demon.

Zhang Fei could understand Liu Huaʼs feelings, so he pulled her into a hug and explained it to her. ”Janette, while indeed a demon, does not originate from this realm; rather, she comes from a different realm that shares a connection with my home realm. Moreover, you can smell it yourself; there is no blood on her body, so you donʼt ʼneed to be hostile towards her.”

”I see.” Liu Hua then turned to Zhang Yue. ”Is she Zhang Yue?”

”Yes.” Zhang Fei then introduced her to the two women. ”Her name is Liu Hua, and she is one of my women.”

Unlike Janette, who was indifferent to Liu Huaʼs appearance, Zhang Yue looked jealous of her, especially since she was much prettier and sexier than her, and her breasts were also bigger than hers.

Liu Hua smiled faintly as she noticed the jealousy in Zhang Yueʼs eyes, so she hugged his arm. ”You donʼt need to be jealous of me, okay? After all, we are a family, and Fei wonʼt treat us differently because of our physique.”

”Huh?”

”Feiʼer, someone left this necklace with me, but she should still be around here now.” After she handed over the necklace that Hu Lili had entrusted to her, Liu Hua immediately took Zhang Yue away with her, wanting to get to know her better.

Meanwhile, Janette chose to join the other women in the formation because Liu Hua seemed hostile towards her, and Zhang Fei observed the necklace seriously. ʼMei, can you track the location of the owner of this necklace?ʼ
