The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 68: Chapter 68: Caught a Chill or Poisoned? (Part 1)

The Imperial Physician was hurriedly brought into the Prince Ling Mansion. After a round of diagnosis, he still couldn’t figure out what was wrong with Su Xingyan. He couldn’t help but frown. Looking at Prince Ling in this state, it seemed like he caught a chill at night, and the cold had entered his body. There seemed to be some signs of catching a cold...

It was deep autumn, and the Capital City of Nanyao Country was in the southern region. Once autumn arrived, it became damp and cold. It was quite normal to catch a chill.

But as for Prince Ling, why would he ask him right away if he was poisoned?

The Imperial Physician, still uneasy, diagnosed once more, even using a silver needle to take blood from Prince Ling’s finger for testing, yet he didn’t find any signs of poisoning.

Thus, he had to speak: ”Prince Ling, you merely have the cold entering your body and caught a chill; it’s nothing serious. I will prescribe a remedy for preventing a cold. After taking it for two days and keeping warm, you should be fine. If you indeed catch a cold, you can switch to another prescription that treats colds. Your body is sturdy, and this minor chill is not a problem.”

There really was no need to drag him all the way out from the Imperial Hospital. The weather was cold, and his old bones couldn’t deal with it well!

Su Xingyan’s face darkened: ”What did you say? A minor chill is nothing? I am clearly poisoned!”

Even now, he felt a piercing chill within him, an icy cold that seeped into his bones and blood. How could it just be a chill!

He was a person trained in martial arts, his body was far better than average people, and even in winter, he rarely caught colds! Besides, today he was clearly attacked with a concealed weapon by Han Jing! Perhaps it wasn’t Han Jing; that ugly maid couldn’t possibly have martial skills, but those maids around her were not simple, let alone other people! What a place the Princess Mansion was, truly full of hidden talents!

This invisible and colorless poison, even the Imperial Physician couldn’t diagnose!

And they say he caught a chill?!

Does he not know himself if he caught a chill? Does he need an Imperial Physician to confirm?

What kind of quack is this!

”Th-this humble servant really cannot diagnose it. Please, Prince Ling, calm your anger...” Even if the Imperial Physician’s vision was fading with age, he couldn’t miss the shadow over Prince Ling’s face, yet he truly couldn’t diagnose any poisoning!

No matter how strange a poison might be in this world, it would not completely lack symptoms. The key was that Prince Ling’s pulse had no issues at all!

Let’s assume he was powerless!

The Imperial Physician decided not to care: ”If Prince Ling is still uneasy, perhaps you should consult another expert. I, I am merely shallow in knowledge.”

Su Xingyan was so angry he wanted to kick him to death, but the person before him was from the Imperial Hospital, and as a prince, he didn’t have the right to deal with him as he pleased. He could only wave his hand and shout: ”Get out!”

The elderly Imperial Physician in his sixties picked up his medicine chest and hurriedly left without even catching his breath.

Su Xingyan, in a fit of anger, threw out a cup with a ”crash!”

”Go, find all the doctors in the Capital City who specialize in detoxifying for me!” Su Xingyan absolutely refused to believe he wasn’t poisoned. That crazy woman Han Jing, out of love turned to hate upon knowing he didn’t want to marry her, must be trying every method to torture him. Even if the poison wouldn’t take his life, it would make his life a living hell, just like now, leaving him shivering with cold.

Maybe it’s some kind of colorless and tasteless cold poison...

Han Jing, I will never let you go!
