The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 154: Chapter 154: Delivering... a Young Lady? (Part 4)

Just as someone was about to scream in fright, Mu Jin grabbed a stout maid and threw her out of the door, scaring everyone to run out!

Only the housekeeper closest to the lady and her personal maid remained—though trembling, they did not leave.

The housekeeper, having seen some of the world, guessed at Han Jing’s identity. Though knowing they couldn’t afford to provoke her, no matter how lawless, even a commandery princess shouldn’t trouble their mistress. After all, their master was an official in the court! They were from out of town; the lady was having a difficult childbirth, and there was no elder in the Capital City to take charge in the family. The master had gone out earlier to find a doctor but had not returned; otherwise, there wouldn’t be no one to stand up here!

”Is it... Princess Chenyu? I wonder why our family has offended the commandery princess. Please show mercy to our mistress...” The housekeeper was pondering how to reason with Han Jing, but Han Jing didn’t even spare her a glance.

She directly said to An Chuxue, ”You can begin now.”

If they dawdled any longer, no one would be able to save the woman!

An Chuxue nodded, washed her hands, then took out the surgical kit she had left here earlier, and skillfully began to unbutton the lady’s clothes.

The housekeeper and the maid were about to rush up to stop her but were pulled away by Mu Jin!

Not even having time to lament, they were interrupted by Han Jing: ”Don’t cry and make a fuss in front of me. I don’t have time to risk your mistress’s life. If you don’t want her to die, you’d better cooperate a bit, or I’ll throw you all out!”

Han Jing knew that absolute silence was needed during surgery. If these two kept making noise, it could lead to accidents. She wasn’t concerned about the woman’s fate, but if an accident occurred, she’d have to find a way to save the girl, since she was the one who brought her in.

The housekeeper was dumbfounded by Han Jing’s cold voice, covering her mouth and daring not to speak.

Han Jing said to Mu Jin: ”Go assist.”

Clearly, relying on the housekeeper and the maid was unrealistic.

The two were so agitated upon seeing the blade that they wanted to fight desperately. If Han Jing wasn’t standing before them with an overpowering presence, they might have really charged forward!

Han Jing watched without blinking as An Chuxue swiftly and accurately opened the woman’s abdomen, and then took out a crimson child, cutting the umbilical cord. The child was already a bit purple—just a moment longer, and he would have suffocated.

The woman was in so much pain that she couldn’t even muster the strength to make a sound, having long passed out. The situation was urgent; An Chuxue didn’t even have time to administer anesthetics.

An Chuxue handed the child to Mu Jin, whose hands stiffened. She had never held such a soft child—it was like holding something with no bones! And why was the child so small?

Mu Jin looked to Han Jing for help—what was she supposed to do now? Surely she couldn’t just hold him like this?

Meanwhile, An Chuxue was preparing to suture the wound. Han Jing looked in disbelief at the housekeeper still standing dumbfounded: ”You’re not planning to keep the child?”

The housekeeper finally reacted, hurriedly stepping forward to carefully take the child. Seeing the child still breathing, her tears almost fell down, and she cautiously asked Han Jing: ”Our mistress, is there—is there still hope for her?”
