The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 172: Chapter 172: What a Waste of Such a Treasure!

”A biological uncle?” It’s no wonder An Chuxue is gossiping; in her past life and this one, all the men she has seen, imagined, and can describe with adjectives, none have ever matched the impact of seeing Su Yu today! Oh heavens! Just a glance is enough to drive someone crazy! And yet he’s so gentle with Han Jing, and Han Jing seems clueless?

It’s a waste of a good thing!

Han Jing shakes her head: ”He’s my mother’s younger half-brother, and I was adopted by my mother. So, I don’t have even a bit of blood relation with him, but, for what it’s worth, he’s nominally my uncle, and by custom, I have to call him uncle.”

An Chuxue rolls her eyes: ”Exactly, although you have some nominal connection, you have no blood relationship, so there’s still a possibility. You mustn’t be confused; I see he’s quite interested in you! Maybe he wants to take you as a student, just probing you. Don’t be silly! Such an exceptional man, unrivaled on earth, you’d regret it if you miss this chance.”

If a handsome guy showed such special interest in her, she would’ve long offered herself! Alas, from beginning to end, the man didn’t even glance at her.

An Chuxue secretly grieved, determined to enlighten the silly Han Jing, because if her friend succeeds, she can also enjoy the view, right?

Han Jing...

”Have you read too many novels and watched too many dramas? This isn’t the place you used to live, better not imagine things.” Han Jing had to cruelly interrupt An Chuxue’s fantasizing. Even though she and Su Yu are not blood relatives, nominally, there’s a generational gap between them!

Even putting aside this, she isn’t concerned with these titles, but the key issue is, what would she do with a man?

Men, to her, have no use at all, right?

Take her mother as an example, what did she gain from loving Han Si Que back then? Didn’t Han Si Que still abandon her for so-called family responsibility? And her marriage with Han Siqu over the years has been purely nominal. A husband is like an unnecessary burden; is she so bored she’s looking for trouble?

Hence, she’s never thought about marriage, let alone finding a man for herself.

An Chuxue grasps her head: ”At least think about it!”

Han Jing resolutely says: ”There’s nothing to consider, I don’t need a man.”

An Chuxue is exasperated: ”You’ve really defeated me, but promise me you absolutely won’t become a disciple! Life is long; who knows what will happen in the future? If you want to learn something, just ask him to teach, he said he would, so whether you become a disciple or not, it’s just a formality! Right?”

In short, she mustn’t let this silly fool act foolishly at this time!

Han Jing...

”Alright, he’s a man of his word. Since he promised to teach me, formalities like disciple or not really don’t matter.” Han Jing has an inexplicable trust in Su Yu. Just as when he said he’d back her up, he silently helped her a lot, and even gave her a great gift.

So, having promised to teach her, he surely will fulfill it.

An Chuxue finally breathes a sigh of relief, mission accomplished.

”Let’s go back for lunch, then take Youyou to collect debts!” Hmph, Su Xingyan thinks he can shirk responsibility, not a chance!
