The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 174: Chapter 174: I’m Pregnant

An Chuxue’s nose felt a bit sour. Since she came to this world, she had been living in fear every day. Her family and friends from her past life were gone, and even having enough food and clothing had become a serious issue. She wandered around, without a single day of peace.

It wasn’t until she met Han Jing that she finally felt a little sense of belonging. Now, facing Su Yaogeng who treated her so kindly, it reminded her of her mother from her previous life, but she could never go back.

”Thank you, Eldest Princess.” An Chuxue’s voice was involuntarily choked.

Su Yaogeng patted her hand: ”Good child. There are no outsiders here; just call me Aunt Zheng.”

Su Yaogeng was truly delighted because her Jing’er had finally made a friend. The girl’s eyes were clean, and her nature was pure. She genuinely liked her.

She knew that Jing’er had always been bothered by issues with her appearance, and she hadn’t lived happily over the years. While she could take care of her living needs, she couldn’t make her truly happy. Now her Jing’er had really let go, was smiling, and could make friends, which made her very happy and grateful to An Chuxue.

Han Jing knew that Su Yaogeng would definitely like An Chuxue because she believed that no matter what she did, as long as it wouldn’t harm her, Su Yaogeng would support her.

So Han Jing seized the moment: ”Mother, I have something to tell you.”

”Oh? What is it?” Su Yaogeng asked curiously.

Han Jing said seriously: ”I’m pregnant.”

”Pfft—” An Chuxue couldn’t help it, she stared at Han Jing in shock, her eyes almost popping out!

She really wanted to give Han Jing a thumbs up. How fearless must she be! To be able to say something like this so bluntly! An Chuxue truly wanted to tell her, ”Great master, please accept my admiration...”

Su Yaogeng was equally astonished, her expression changing unpredictably. After a long time, she said in a deep voice: ”Is it true?”

Han Jing nodded: ”It’s true. I confirmed it with the doctor today.”

Su Yaogeng was silent for a long while, hesitant to speak again.

Han Jing looked at her and said with great determination: ”Mother, I know you might be angry, but I still decided to have him. You know I have the Extreme Cold Constitution; it was originally impossible for me to have children. The doctor who felt my pulse earlier also confirmed this. So, this is an accident, but for me, it’s a surprising accident. After all, he will be our closest family.”

Han Jing didn’t think it was a shameful matter. Of course, she understood that in the current situation, this was a scandal, but she was no longer the same Han Jing she used to be. Whatever she wanted to do, she would do. She didn’t care about her reputation and wouldn’t let these things affect her life.

Su Yaogeng was somewhat struggling. Of course, she wasn’t struggling over the child; the child must be kept. Even if Han Jing decided not to keep it, she probably wouldn’t agree.

No one knew how heartbroken she was when she brought Han Jing back, only to find out that her constitution was inclined towards coldness, and even with good care, she could never have her own children. The pain she endured herself, she truly didn’t want to see it replayed in Jing’er. So all along, she had been meticulously caring for her and loving her doubly.
