Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 1343: Chapter 1344: Life Is Not Easy

As a neighbor, Cheng Su could only suggest things, whether to take it or not was up to Hualing and them.

But she agreed with what Qi Taiguo said, since staying here meant no future prospects at all. The allowance was just a little bit, and although there are sometimes some subsidies, how much would it be when distributed? Things were always tight, and prices would only keep going up in the future.

So, it’s better to take advantage of the connections in Hualing’s family, switch careers and relocate to a slightly better company or any other business development, even if they couldn’t get power, getting money would be good too!

Power and money, these things have always been closely related, and people put all their effort into obtaining them just to live better.

Therefore, in today’s times, it’s not necessary to have power, having money is also pretty good. It’s not an era where businessmen are looked down upon anymore, and often with money, you can also get power.

”You’re on a fixed salary, and he has that little bit of allowance. Back home, you need to show some respect, right?” Cheng Su stopped Hualing from interrupting and said, ”Don’t interrupt me, listen to what I have to say first. It’s true that you have your own small family to care for, but back home, how can you not give anything at all? But after giving, things are still tight on your side, and life gets tough. Naturally, there will be more quarrels. And there’s no point in arguing too much.”

”The child is small now and you can’t see much, and you can barely make do, but as the child grows, expenses will increase day by day, and future prices won’t be like they are now, you must be mentally prepared. So, it’s necessary to carefully consider this issue.” Cheng Su earnestly said.

Hualing let out a long sigh and said, ”How could I not know what you said, the idea of ’poverty makes everything worse’ is something I understand. But with Chen Shouwang’s character, to be honest, I don’t have much hope!”

”Whether you rely on him or not, you should try, right? If you don’t try, how will you know? He’s not even forty now. After a few more years of hard work, there should be some way out, right? Especially since your family still has some connections. If you really drag it on until your parents retire, it will be really tough then!” Cheng Su said.

Hualing bit her lip and nodded after some time.

She looked at Cheng Su dressed so fashionably and sighed, ”You are really clever. Who would have thought that originally you just sold meals from a small cart, and now you’ve achieved this? At yesterday’s gathering, several sisters-in-law were envious of you!”

”It’s glamorous in front of people, but tears behind them. The hardships I’ve gone through, the sweat I’ve paid, you all don’t know.” Cheng Su chuckled, ”Asking for life, for living, has never been easy, it’s always been tough, always!”

Hualing awkwardly said, ”Still, you are smart and strong!”

Coming from a rural area, she insisted on relying on her own skills to get into college, and then expanded her business to such a scale. There is envy, jealousy, but honestly, also admiration.

Cheng Su smiled faintly, ”I was pushed to do it, you see, I’m about to go out again. In that case, I’m leaving now!”

Hualing nodded, watching her leave with her handbag, heels clicking hurriedly on the concrete.

She pursed her lips, turned back to her room and looked around the cramped home. With a child, it seemed to be filled with more things. Thinking about sophistication, it was impossible.

And the suggestion Cheng Su made lingered in her mind, perhaps it should be considered?
