Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 1321: Chapter 1322: Little Aunt Is Missing

Qi Taiguo and Cheng Su were still dreaming when they were awakened by a noisy commotion outside, mixed with Mother Qi’s cries and curses.

What’s going on?

Cheng Su quickly pushed Qi Taiguo awake, dressed hurriedly, splashed water on her face, and rushed out.

The cursing was coming from the main room. The two exchanged a glance and hurried over. As soon as they entered, they saw Mother Qi wiping her tears and cursing.

”What’s happened?”

Qi Fenglian saw them and said urgently, ”Little sister is missing!”

What?

Qi Taiguo’s face immediately turned grim.

”We thought she went to the restroom, looked everywhere but couldn’t find her,” Qi Fenglian said, anxious.

”When did you find out she was missing?” Cheng Su asked.

”I noticed when I woke up her bed was empty, but I didn’t know when she got up,” Qi Fenglian replied.

Cheng Su and Qi Taiguo exchanged another serious look. Where could she have gone?

”That damned girl, she’s going to drive us to death with worry, the fool!” Mother Qi cursed over there.

”Could she have gone to find that Zhou Qiang?” Cheng Su suddenly had a realization.

Qi Taiguo turned and went out: ”I’ll go after her.”

Father Qi guessed as much and called out to Qi Jianguo: ”You go with your elder brother. You know the way.”

Qi Jianguo nodded immediately.

Cheng Su said, ”Dad, I’ll go too, okay?”

Father Qi thought for a moment and said, ”That’s good, Taiguo has a temper. If he gets really angry, who knows what he might do? You try to reason with him.”

Cheng Su nodded, turned around to tidy up, hoping Qi Fengping wouldn’t get herself into trouble.

...

Tong County is quite a distance from Flower County. Led by Qi Jianguo, they arrived at Zhou Qiang’s house, almost approaching noon.

They weren’t mistaken; Qi Fengping really came to the Zhou family to find Zhou Qiang. She didn’t know the way, but overheard Father Qi and others discussing the location the past few days, then found her way by asking people for directions.

Last night, she overheard her elder brother’s conversation and elder sister’s persuasion, which chilled her heart. Get rid of the baby inside her, how could that be? It was the fruit of her love with Zhou Qiang, it couldn’t just be removed like that.

Thus, she came, seeking an explanation from Zhou Qiang, to see if he was really so heartless, denying the child in her womb.

But she was mistaken; he wasn’t heartless but outright crazy. Were those words even human? Saying she was unclean, the child wasn’t his, she shouldn’t pin this on him. And his family aided him by cursing her as a tramp, a fox spirit, claiming she was maliciously trying to break up someone’s family.

Qi Fengping broke down, rushed forward and started fighting: ”Zhou Qiang, you black-hearted bastard!”

When Qi Taiguo and the others arrived, they saw Qi Fengping lying on the ground, and Qi Taiguo flew into a rage, rushed up to the man in glasses standing in front, and punched him, fists raining down.

Screams arose, people in the building all peeking out to watch the commotion.

Cheng Su helped Qi Fengping to sit up, saw the man’s face turn into a pig’s head instantly, anyone who tried to intervene suffered, fearing Taiguo might beat him to death, she quickly told Qi Jianguo to intervene.

”Quick, restrain your elder brother!”

Qi Jianguo hurried to pull him away.

”Sister-in-law, my stomach hurts, oh oh,” Qi Fengping grabbed Cheng Su’s hand, her other hand clutching her stomach as she cried out.

Cheng Su quickly checked her lower body, relieved not to see any blood, shouted, ”Taiguo, stop, little sister is in danger!”

Qi Taiguo was being held back by Qi Jianguo, Cheng Su looked over, astonished to see a hint of red seeping through the back of Qi Taiguo’s shirt.

The wound on his back had split open.
