Summoners: One Golden Term per Level

Zeus felt the small life within him, previously suppressed, expanding rapidly, and his expression changed instantly.

Meanwhile, the aura of Metis opposite him was continuously weakening, ”Are you crazy?”

Zeus roared in anger, ”Weren’t you waiting to become the King of Gods? Damn it, you’re sacrificing your life to pave the way for Pollux, and sacrificing will only trap you in an eternal slumber.”

Zeus always thought that Metis did so much preparation and even allied with the old gods just to make him the King of Gods.

Otherwise, why bother to become his offspring?

Under the curse of the King of Gods, only his offspring could overthrow the previous King of Gods and become the next King of Gods.

But it was already close to the end.

Metis was not thinking about how to solve Pollux inside him.

Instead, she was sacrificing herself, using her last divinity to help Pollux be born early.

And Chronos, who had devoured the remaining divine spirits, also seemed prepared for the sacrifice, using his stomach as a furnace.

He swallowed all his remaining offspring, sacrificing their power into Pollux’s body.

All these efforts were meant to bring about the birth of Pollux, who was prophesied to replace him and become the king of gods and humans.

”You never understand a mother’s love for her child.

Just like how your mother once firmly opposed Chronos, secretly swapping you out to prevent you from being devoured by him.

You, a person devoid of emotion and righteousness, how could you ever know what ’love’ is!

All my previous words were just to confuse you and others. If you knew my goal was always to give birth to Pollux.

Then you might have already found other ways to completely annihilate Pollux, or forcibly seal him.”

”I never underestimated your wisdom, so I had to reinforce your thoughts and concepts day after day.”

Metis sneered, ”And all of this is for this final moment!”

While Metis was speaking.

Countless divine powers and energies had already entered Zeus’s stomach entirely, it was bulging to the limit, ready to burst open at any moment.

As for Chi You, it had long dissipated.

Only Metis barely clung to life, turning her head to Shen Fei and saying, ”What I promised you, I will fulfill! Now destiny has changed, and all preordained fates have been altered!”

After saying that,

Metis’s figure completely disappeared, and at the same time, Zeus’s stomach burst open, and a figure walked out.

The presence of an indisputably beautiful youth, merely appearing, seemed to symbolize all the world’s beauty.

And the moment he appeared, the Destiny Weaving Machine had stabilized.

Yet the faces of the Three Goddesses of Destiny changed, ”Destiny is starting to change, everything will be overturned and re-started!”

As soon as they finished speaking, the Destiny Weaving Machine started operating, but it wasn’t moving forward, it was continuously reversing.

The threads of fate that spanned the world started retracting back into the Destiny Weaving Machine.

At the same time.

The Three Goddesses of Destiny also disappeared without a trace, as they were born of fate, naturally, when fate no longer exists, they too would vanish.

At this moment.

Zeus watched this scene helplessly, fate had vanished.

His [destiny] had vanished as well.

Pollux looked at Zeus before him and smiled slightly.

That innocent face suddenly revealed a crafty smile, his tone akin to a prank, ”I remember, the coronation of a King of Gods seems to have a coronation ceremony.”

Zeus, with his belly forcibly ruptured, was in too much pain to speak.

For a moment, he did not react to Pollux’s words, only to see a Spear of Victory appear in Pollux’s hand.

He thrust it beneath Zeus, causing an indescribable mass to fall, the intense pain and humiliation further paling Zeus’s face, ”Just like you did to my grandfather!”

”You——!”

Zeus could only choke out a single word before his breath completely ceased.

And before Shen Fei, a prompt flickered by, [Control of the Artemis Temple completed].

In the next moment.

Shen Fei felt his body continuously ascending as if completing a main storyline quest, as in a narrative.

Beneath him, the Greek world began the cycle of time, interplay of light and shadow, as Pollux stood amid a world already in ruins.

With a wave of his hand on the first day, the sky was mended, stars were illuminated, day and night were divided, the seasons rotated.

With another wave on the second day, the waters above and below separated, and the countless seawaters that had submerged the land returned to the ocean, revealing the continents once more.

On the third day, creatures of the earth and humans revived, and city-states rose again.

In just three days, the land, islands, mountains, rivers, oceans, forests, fortresses, animals, plants, humans... all the original traces of the Greek world were once again carved onto the earth by the golden patterns.

On the fourth day, as the first ray of sunlight fell on the newly reformed Mount Olympus, familiar figures reappeared one by one.

Hera, Hephaestus, Deseter, Hermes, and other divine spirits swallowed by Zeus into his belly, as well as Artemis and Apollo, including those divine spirits who survived before.

They seemed surprised why they would appear again.

Only Ares, killed by Metis, and Zeus did not reappear, even Poseidon reappeared, but now seated in the position of the new King of Gods was the new God King, Pollux.

Pollux said two words to Artemis, and her face showed surprise, while at the same time, a resplendently ornate robe appeared on Pollux’s body again, symbolizing the scepter of the King of Gods.

...

Shen Fei’s consciousness began to fade, and the scenes before him kept disappearing and re-forming until he found himself already back at the Artemis Temple.

The previously untouchable statue now sat steadily before him.

Around him stood Chi You and others.

Two prompts flashed simultaneously, and in an instant, the statue naturally floated to the body of the Moon God, beginning to merge into one.

The Moon God began to emanate moonlight, her figure gradually transformed, her body graceful, with a robe embroidered with symbols belonging to the moon.

At the same time, an exquisite crescent moon appeared on her beautiful face’s forehead.

Furthermore, strands of moonlight gathered in the Moon God’s hands, forming a Longbow, a bow Shen Fei had seen before, the same bow once held by Artemis.
