Summoners: One Golden Term per Level

Aia Island.

Having realized she was on a pirate ship, Calypso drooped her sharp ears, wondering why she couldn’t control her thoughts.

Step by step, she was led onto the pirate ship by Shen Fei.

She did admire those brave souls, but not to the point of being so audacious?

To think of overthrowing the rule of Mount Olympus.

But Calypso suddenly recalled that Shen Fei seemed to have received the blessing of her own goddess, making her face turn ashen.

’Is the goddess thinking the same way?’ she thought.

Yet if Hecate thought this way, as Hecate’s priest, even if she did nothing, she’d still be allied with Hecate.

’Having come this far, it seems hard to back out.’

While Calypso’s inner self was in turmoil, Aphrodite listened with great interest to Shen Fei’s ’promises’.

”This sounds quite interesting, no wonder that Athena had my son come...” Aphrodite started to say, but suddenly stopped.

With her charming eyes twinkling, she said, ”Regarding Hades, I can help you deal with him, letting you inside to find Chronos.”

”Isn’t Hades supposed to be the most devoted god?” Shen Fei asked curiously, but Aphrodite snorted at Shen Fei’s words.

”Devoted? Are there devoted gods among men?” Aphrodite countered, ”Zeus and that guy Poseidon, they have so many romances in the mortal world.”

”Hades, do you think he doesn’t want to? It’s because his domain is in the Netherworld, and the Netherworld isn’t just the world of the dead.”

”There are the defeated Titans, ancient divine monsters, and infamous criminals, all prisoners inside.”

”The so-called King of the Underworld, Hades is more like a warden.

Even at the council of the gods, he can only project a divine power avatar while his true form must remain in the Netherworld.”

”If he could be in the mortal world, he’d have started frolicking long ago. I offer myself on a platter, how could he not like it?”

Aphrodite said confidently, joking that there were no good men among the Greek gods, not even the so-called Light God, Apollo.

Otherwise, why are there three virgin goddesses, but no three virgin gods?

”I see...”

Shen Fei nodded, ”Then when Asclepius arrives, we’ll head to the Netherworld.”

Aphrodite raised an eyebrow, Asclepius—more gods getting involved. Although Asclepius wasn’t a main god,

he wasn’t weak, particularly because his medical skill and rank in divine authority were given by Zeus. Therefore, despite being Apollo’s son, he is almost independent of Apollo.

His divine power to heal other gods during divine battles made him an extremely important entity, not to mention his unique authority and rank.

His worship in the mortal realm is not even weaker than his father Apollo’s.

After all, humans are not gods, leading them to suffer birth, aging, sickness, and death, loathe pain, and fear death—that’s what makes Asclepius the ideal deity to worship.

”But if you want to go to the Netherworld, you can’t take the normal road. With Hades sitting in the Netherworld, any living being entering by normal paths will have a mark left by the Netherworld’s gates.”

”Hades may discover them at any time,” Aphrodite explained, not sure why she was so diligently helping Shen Fei. It seemed a natural feeling.

One that even surpassed her pursuit of love and desire.

”But I need to defeat Cerberus to receive Artemis’s blessing.” Shen Fei, though now becoming a god, still sought improvement.

He didn’t want to miss this opportunity.

Aphrodite: ”Once you get to the Netherworld, show some human aura, and that dumb dog will naturally come to you.”

”Alright.”

Calypso quietly raised her hand, ”Actually, as a follower of Hecate, I can enter the Netherworld gate at will.”

”Do you think you can just enter the Netherworld without Hades knowing?” Aphrodite sneered, making Calypso’s freshly perked ears droop again.

”Once in the Netherworld, I will request Goddess Hecate to grant you divine authority. Fulfilling my promise to you.” Shen Fei said with a smile, stroking Calypso’s pink hair.

Several days later.

Aphrodite sat by the sea, swinging her legs, letting the seawater wash over her feet like the world’s most perfect creation. She hadn’t indulged her desires for days, which left her quite agitated.

But Shen Fei was likely connected to Chronos.

She dared not approach him.

This made her more restless, so she came to the sea to clear her mind with seawater. After a while, she saw a figure walking on water toward her.

”Asclepius...”

Seeing the distant figure, Aphrodite’s eyes lit up. Since Shen Fei was out of the question, she’d turn to Asclepius, considering he inherited Apollo’s looks.

He was indeed stunningly beautiful.

And given his divine medical skill and rank, though perhaps less fierce than Ares, his recovery power was surely formidable.

Just as Aphrodite prepared to make her move,

she saw Shen Fei already present, giving her a glance, causing her to instinctively retreat before quickly regaining her composure with a flash of annoyance.

Why was she afraid of him?

Meanwhile, Asclepius, walking on water from the sea, saw Shen Fei and his eyes lit up without saying much.

”Long time no see.” Asclepius greeted Shen Fei as if they were quite familiar, and Shen Fei smiled slightly, ”Long time no see.”

”You know each other?”

Calypso asked, confused.

She hadn’t heard Shen Fei mention knowing Asclepius. Earlier, she had thought Shen Fei was seeking Asclepius on behalf of Goddess Hecate’s mission.

It seemed there was more to it.

”Met after a battle some time ago,” Shen Fei smiled, although he still hadn’t found Little Pu.

Even Aphrodite had said that the Sleep Demon could probably only be tracked by the sky-gazing Zeus or perhaps her father.

But now heading to the Netherworld, as long as he found Chronos, his basic team would be assembled.

...

In the Primordial Ocean, Atlantis’s underwater ruins.

This was once the most prominent site of Atlantis, incredibly prosperous, and constituted the most crucial support for Poseidon.

But after a certain rebellion, it was destroyed by Zeus.

As for the current remaining city of Atlantis, it was built after that rebellion.

Nearby,

a towering giant with a hundred heads and a hundred arms stood on the desolate ruins, like a giant pillar holding up the sea, standing majestically.

”Puff, puff, puff, puff!”

Briareos glanced listlessly at the distant swirling seawater, quickly losing interest.

As usual, it was just some fallen ones fighting in the trenches.

However, several sea beasts swam past them to the bottom of these ruins, where there was a substantial dark red light curtain and an internal bronze gate.
