Summoners: One Golden Term per Level

Shen Fei and the others left Hell, and returned to Aia Island. Unlike their sneaky entry, this time, they naturally left through the main gate, directly returning to Aia Island.

”Did you promise him the ocean?” Aphrodite cautiously asked Chi You, worried that Chi You might just swallow her up.

She had only heard Chi You’s promise to Hades before leaving.

”Since last time, I’ve let go of my obsession with the position of Divine King. Now, I can only seek revenge against Zeus. As long as I take revenge on Zeus, I will, like the Earth Mother, live separately from the Greek World,” Chi You said solemnly.

”If you succeed, who will take the position of Divine King?” Aphrodite couldn’t help but ask, ”Do you want to be it?”

Chi You seemed to have seen through Aphrodite’s ambition long ago, Aphrodite hesitated for a moment, mainly thinking that if she became Divine King.

Wouldn’t she be able to entertain any God of Men she wanted?

And the title of Divine King sounded quite exciting.

”Only the offspring of Zeus can end his fate; you cannot be Divine King, fate won’t allow it, but you can be Queen of Gods,” Saintess said calmly, painting a picture.

Once they completed their tasks and left Ancient Greece, it wouldn’t matter who was who.

”Queen of Gods would work too!”

Aphrodite had always disliked Hera; Hera was the guardian of marriage and family, always opposing her.

The Divine King didn’t matter.

She just wanted to be Queen of Gods.

”Let me heal you first. The most important thing now is to help Shen Fei reach Main God’s strength and to help Chronos recover his injuries...”

”I must first cover your aura, then recover and discuss later.” Although Chi You was brought out, his power had been completely exhausted due to being trapped in Hell for years.

Moreover, the last rebellion made Zeus tighten his grip on Chronos, occasionally visiting the Netherworld, weakening his bloodline.

”Hmm.”

The Saintess covered Chronos with Divine Authority, concealing the aura belonging to the King of Titans. The Saintess held the Divine Authority of ’Opportunity,’ part of the accidental nature within fate.

As long as Zeus wasn’t standing in front of Chi You, he wouldn’t know Chronos had already escaped.

”What should we do next?” Aphrodite asked.

”Return to Ephesus, it’s time to begin.” Shen Fei estimated the time; it was almost time for Artemis Temple to be burned.

During this time, Shen Fei pondered a question: since all gods claimed fate couldn’t be defied, and Athena said the burning of Artemis Temple was just a side effect of a larger destiny shift.

From Shen Fei’s understanding, this should be the beginning of Roman Mythology replacing Greek Mythology.

That was indeed a massive shift in fate, leading to Ares even becoming one of the Supreme Gods in Roman Mythology.

A position comparable to Zeus.

If that’s the case, why not start a war directly, making Artemis a candidate for Supreme God?

Perhaps Athena was considering this too, which is why she agreed to cooperate with Artemis. If necessary, push Athena to Supreme God position as well.

Messing the entire order, completely tangling the threads of fate.

Then it was definitely time for war.

”I believe the Earth Mother can serve as authority. The Earth Mother might have detected it long ago; otherwise, she wouldn’t have acted to immobilize Charybdis.”

”The Earth Mother has always been extremely displeased with Zeus for overthrowing Chronos. Originally, the Divine System should have four authorities: Sky, Ocean, Land, and Netherworld. Part of Earth Mother’s authority should have been given to Hera.

However, Earth Mother even can’t be bothered with Hera, and even took back the authority from Zeus’s mother.”

Chi You said, after all, Chronos had already rebelled once, initially claiming Earth Mother’s authority, but unfortunately failed.

Of course.

Those Titans were too reckless back then, just directly initiated Divine Warfare, aimed at the Divine Mountain, without thinking their Divine System had been replaced by Mount Olympus.

With the support of mortal beliefs, it was enough to oppose Titans and these old Gods.

Those Titans didn’t quite understand, not realizing the principle of surrounding cities with villages, reducing enemies, increasing friends.

The various authorities of the old Gods had already been stripped away, hoping to contend with new Gods based purely on their rank — maybe achievable when faith was just established.

But now, mortal faith rested with the Greek Gods, providing them tremendous power.

Chi You said, ”Although many Titans died in the past war, some survived, and Typhon is still alive in the deep sea; these can all be recruited.”

”Hmm.”

Shen Fei nodded, those were great strengths; victory in the mortal world’s war was crucial, but the divine war also needed substantial stalemate forces.

”Alright.”

...

Ephesus.

Compared to when he left, Shen Fei was now a Divine Spirit. Returning was naturally swift, and he went to Artemis Temple immediately.

After all, now Artemis was his superior and ally.

Upon stepping into Artemis Temple, Artemis appeared, but Shen Fei noticed that compared to her previous wild attire.

Now Artemis’s robes were more elegant, the skirt adorned not only with the original signs of Hunting God and Fertility God.

But also added the sign of the Moon.

”Congratulations Goddess.”

Shen Fei said with a smile, it seemed a decision had been made, Artemis formally took over the [Moon] Divine Authority, yet Artemis’s gaze was complex.

This was almost entirely Shen Fei’s credit; previously, she did have the [Moon] rank but didn’t know how long it’d take to receive the [Moon] Divine Authority.

But Shen Fei had already spread his belief in the mortal world, coupled with Athena’s help.

Actually, the shift of divine ranks didn’t matter to many divine spirits.

Ultimately, it wasn’t their concern.

So it was Zeus and Hera deciding whether to strip Selene of her [Moon] Divine Authority.

Hera naturally agreed, Selene was Zeus’s lover, and Hera refrained from killing her only because of her kindness.

And with Athena’s support this time, it settled the matter.

Zeus clearly didn’t want to go against both Hera and Athena’s desires.

And Athena wasn’t siding with her but recognizing Shen Fei for aiding her actions.

In their cooperation.

It seemed more like Shen Fei and Athena’s collaboration, and Artemis was just a bonus.

”I...”

When Artemis was about to say something, she saw a silver-haired girl walk in, looking at Shen Fei with a solemn face: ”I want to discuss something with you, privately.”

”This is my Divine Hall!!”

Artemis huffed in anger.

”I know, my Divine Hall is too far away. With divine power enveloping us, Zeus wouldn’t discover the issue.” Athena nodded as if it were only natural.
