Summoners: One Golden Term per Level

”You killed me... My father will definitely... not let you go! You... will accompany me...”

”Pfft!”

The Bronze Arrow pierced the flesh, and Polyphemus’s curse came to an abrupt halt, a huge head impaled by a Bronze Arrow.

Soon, the Bronze Arrow erupted with terrifying Divine Power.

Under the stir of the Divine Power, Polyphemus’s huge head instantly exploded, bright red blood poured into the seawater, and the clear sea surface began to turn crimson.

”Such nonsense...”

Shen Fei withdrew his gaze, knowing that since Calypso sent him here, there was no doubt that his strength was meant to suppress Polyphemus.

Calypso actually just wanted an attitude, because even a Demigod is still a woman.

A woman wants an attitude from the one she loves, at least a willingness to take risks for her, which is why Calypso sent Shen Fei to kill Polyphemus.

Shen Fei realized this, so he agreed, and also advised Jasper Pool and the Moon God not to follow him. If a woman wants you to show your attitude, bringing other women along to complete the task is not wise.

Even someone as romantically inclined as Calypso probably wouldn’t appreciate it.

What’s more, he vaguely sensed that Eros’s ’Divine Authority’ had become ineffective. Previously, he didn’t notice, but after he acquired the Divine Authority of [Tsunami],

he vaguely sensed that the Divine Authority power surrounding Calypso had already dissipated.

It’s uncertain whether Calypso herself resisted it or if something happened with Eros, but in any case, relying on Eros to maintain his relationship with Calypso was not feasible.

Therefore, Shen Fei had to be proactive. Although Eros’s influence waned, Calypso’s previous goodwill and her appreciation for Shen Fei’s abilities and actions still kept her favorably disposed towards him.

Though not to the extent of doing anything for Shen Fei, she was at least willing to do some things.

”If I can contact the Saintess, as she is affiliated with Hecate, giving Calypso some promise would be enough for her to help me during this time.”

”She might even assist me against Ares later.”

Shen Fei carried the lifeless Polyphemus, and at this moment, he inexplicably felt that the ocean below harbored immense hostility towards him.

The ocean, once feeling very harmonious, now seemed ready to engulf him anytime, drowning him in endless water.

”It seems Poseidon has noticed.”

Shen Fei was not surprised, after all, Polyphemus was Poseidon’s illegitimate child, and Poseidon paid considerable attention to this son.

Previously, Polyphemus prayed to Poseidon, asking for trouble for Odysseus on his journey home, and Poseidon granted that wish.

In the context of Greek family traditions, particularly for someone like Poseidon, showing such care for his son already meant a lot.

This was probably due to the Cyclops connection.

Poseidon and Toosa were not Cyclopes, yet Polyphemus was.

Naturally, Poseidon could not have been cuckolded; though Poseidon is often portrayed humorously in myths, he is still a Main God and the brother of God King Zeus.

Daring to cuckold Poseidon would likely only be within Zeus’s domain.

It must have been a case of ancestral traits reappearing.

Thus, even though Polyphemus’s magical Talent wasn’t high, Poseidon still valued him and even bestowed Rank upon him.

He became a Demigod.

Originally, the sea surface was calm when Shen Fei arrived, but now waves surged, even surpassing natural boundaries, as if trying to drag Shen Fei underwater.

But it dared not go too high.

’Luckily, the Divine Authority of [Tsunami] came from Phorcys, not Poseidon.

Otherwise, I would have been stripped of it, and without Divine Authority’s suppression, I’d be crushed by the sea and die.’

’Moreover, Poseidon dared not raise the sea level too high, fearing Zeus would use it as a pretext to suppress him again.’

Shen Fei could sense the terrifying Divine Power contained beneath the sea surface, yet fearing something, it dared not unleash this power fully to pull Shen Fei from the sky into the depths.

Thoughts filled his mind.

This wasn’t impossible; after all, Zeus was quite wary of his ambitious brother Poseidon, as Poseidon also had claims to the Divine King’s inheritance.

Poseidon had wanted the title of Divine King ever since the triarchy began.

He even tried once but failed.

Zeus governs the sky, and the concept of ’sky’ itself is vast. Where there is no land, the space above the sea is also considered the sky.

Shen Fei used the Divine Authority of [Tsunami] to suppress the sea surface and flew independently, causing an odd phenomenon.

As Shen Fei flew in the sky, the seawater beneath him rose unnaturally, as if Shen Fei was commanding the waves.

When Shen Fei returned to Aia Island, the turbulent sea calmed down; previously, Poseidon could use Polyphemus to incite control over divine monsters and assault Aia Island.

But Poseidon dared not act directly, as he couldn’t ascertain Hecate’s status.

It can be said.

Polyphemus’s actions were part of Poseidon’s probes against Hecate.

”Back so soon?”

At the edge of the island, Calypso sighed in relief upon seeing Shen Fei return with Polyphemus.

Although she knows that Polyphemus is no match for Shen Fei given his strength, even if both she and Polyphemus were Demigods possessing Rank.

Calypso’s mastery of Witchcraft is powerful, and over the long years, combined with ’Rank’ Support, her strength surpasses many Demigods.

Thus, Polyphemus was much weaker than her, and she recognized Shen Fei’s strength was comparable to hers.

Which is why she let Shen Fei kill Polyphemus.

Yet she was somewhat worried about Shen Fei, fearing any issues might arise, knowing that Poseidon still holds visible control over the Divine Authority of [Sea Battle].

With Polyphemus’s death, she feared Shen Fei might not return.

She even regretted her impulsive decision at the time, sending Shen Fei to kill Polyphemus as a sacrifice.

Since Hecate had long ceased responding to her prayers, the sacrifice might not be effective.

But seeing Shen Fei return with Polyphemus’s corpse.

The previous regret turned into admiration for Shen Fei, and she quickly waved at him to indicate her presence.

’Boom!’

Shen Fei tossed Polyphemus’s headless body onto the island, like a hill thrown down, kicking up a cloud of dust.

”The sacrificial Array is ready,” Calypso quickly said to avoid appearing unreliable to Shen Fei.
