Summoners: One Golden Term per Level

The fall of Ares suddenly brought silence to heaven and earth, while Metis, who was originally fighting with Hera, felt her aura surge in an instant.

Among the gods themselves, the struggle for the divine authority of [War] mainly lay between Ares and her, and now that Ares had fallen into slumber.

Naturally, the only remaining War Goddess, Athena, took over the vast majority of the [War] divine authority’s amplification.

The key is.

This vast divine war brought a massive amplification to the [War] divine authority.

Hera, who could originally resist Metis, was struck by the Spear of Victory in an instant, Hera couldn’t even react.

’Puchi!’

The Spear of Victory instantly pierced Hera’s divine body, and boundless Divine Blood burst out from the wound.

Hera’s incomparably beautiful face turned pale, and her eyes seemed to already hold the resolve of death.

Yet, she heard Metis’s emotionless voice, saying, ”You are also a pitiful being, both used by Zeus, I won’t kill you!”

”After the new king ascends, you will still be the guardian of marriage!”

Metis withdrew the Spear of Victory, carrying countless Divine Blood, she deliberately did not pierce Hera’s Divine Core directly, otherwise, Hera would have died immediately.

A long time ago, she began planning for the [War] divine authority, knowing that if change were to occur, with Zeus’s character, power would certainly not be transferred peacefully.

It would only lead to a grand divine war, so when she was still Athena, she employed various methods to acquire the [War] rank, amidst much promotion.

She fashioned her image as a Valkyrie, rather than just a simple Goddess of Wisdom.

”Power emerges from the barrel of a gun.”

So, she was just waiting for the right opportunity, and the rebellion back then was merely an attempt.

But it also made her fully realize that without a divine war involving the gods, it was impossible to overthrow Zeus from the throne.

The gods here were not just the Olympian gods, but also the old gods, making it difficult to dethrone Zeus from the seat of the Divine King.

So, she could only wait for the chance.

Until she encountered the man who came to Athens, carrying the Divine Power of Artemis.

She acutely perceived the possible conflict behind the burning of the Artemis Temple, which could provoke a divine war.

So, she acted accordingly, continually activating the arrangements she had left over the years, to discover who was truly behind Shen Fei.

Upon confirming that behind Shen Fei were Hecate and his journey to the Netherworld.

Metis knew this great war could unfold.

During this time, besides utilizing the matters of the Moon God to stir the thoughts of the Olympian gods without being noticed by others.

She traveled various places, sought out Prometheus, sought help from the Earth Mother, and made the Justice Goddess Themis judge the matter from a standpoint of fairness.

It was all to ensure the smooth occurrence of this great war.

As long as Ares died in the great war, possessing the [War] divine authority as well, she would instantly gain near Zeus-like power.

Now, success.

”Zeus! The hatred I once bore, I finally have the power to reclaim it from you!”

Metis looked coldly at Zeus who was fiercely battling Chi You and transformed into a beam of golden light rushing toward Zeus, simultaneously saying coldly, ”He’s mine!”

That divine power and divinity, not inferior to Zeus, turned into a vast golden ocean, clashing with Zeus’s power.

Chi You raised an eyebrow, but did not oppose it.

Instead, he rushed toward the remaining divine spirits on Mount Olympus, among them, the young Poseidon who was opposing Hades, was instantly grabbed by Chi You.

Because Poseidon, with this divine body, obtained the Sea God divine authority of the old gods, the contained power countered the new gods.

With the aid of Nereus and other ancient sea gods, he was overpowering Hades, only to find his head caught in an instant.

The terrifying power shattered the divine power barrier around him, and he saw only darkness before him, with a power sealing his divine authority.

Chi You sensed Poseidon descending into his belly.

A force continually refined Poseidon, extracting all the divine authority within him.

Hades swallowed his saliva; he had no desire to experience being swallowed within Chronos again.

The remaining divine spirits couldn’t withstand Chi You, one by one, swallowed into Chi You’s belly, leaving only the Three Goddesses of Destiny still confronting the Saintess.

The faces of the Three Goddesses of Destiny immediately changed, in their sight, the Destiny Weaving Machine maintaining world stability rapidly collapsed.

”You are destroying the world. Zeus still carries destiny. If he dies, the entire world will collapse!”

”Who decides destiny?”

Engaged in fierce battle with Zeus, Metis coldly said, ”I have long researched, it’s merely that the entire world requires the Divine System to support it; in the past, when Chronos was overthrown, Hera and others also bore destiny.

Or rather.

Only when they unite is there true destiny.

Now, destiny should reside in all of Zeus’s offspring, but I have secretly killed all of Zeus’s offspring, and now Hercules is also dead.

Ares is dead too.”

”Apart from Artemis and Apollo, the rest have been swallowed by Chronos.”

Clotho among the Three Goddesses of Destiny frowned, ”So there’s Apollo and Artemis left, are you going to kill them?”

Beside Shen Fei, Artemis and Apollo’s faces changed, but they suddenly found that the Moon Gods and Jasper Pool, supposedly their subordinates, acted against them.

Forcing them into captivity, Chi You reached out and swallowed them all into his belly, Artemis’s face still retained a trace of shock.

”Shen Fei, didn’t you say you would protect me?”

”Not to protect you, but to protect the Artemis Temple!” Shen Fei smiled, Apollo’s face showed anger, ”You had planned all along to make Metis the Divine King!”

But their anger couldn’t stop Chi You.

After Chi You swallowed the two, the previously wavering Destiny Weaving Machine stabilized.

Zeus saw this but laughed loudly, ”You forget, inside my belly there’s still one; as long as he never emerges, destiny will only fluctuate between you two, and you will never be the Divine King!”

Metis, however, smiled slightly, ”It’s simple, I’ll just sacrifice!”

In an instant.

Runes appeared on Metis’s body, and the divinity within her quickly spread out, that endless ocean emerged, and simultaneously, runes flashed on Chi You or rather Chronos.

Endless divinity continually surged out from the two bodies.

At the same time.

An arrow mixed within these divine powers shot straight at Zeus.

Powerless to resist, Zeus could only watch as these divine powers and that arrow all collided into his belly.
