Summoners: One Golden Term per Level

Acheron River.

The moment Shen Fei leapt into the river, the piercing cold felt like tens of thousands of ice cones penetrating his bones.

Countless pale arms emerged from the murky water, the decaying resentful spirits gnawed at his skin, muttering like drowning victims: ”Stay... suffer with us...”

His muscles swelled amidst spasms, bones emitting brittle sounds akin to metal grinding. The wounds torn open by the resentful spirits did not bleed but instead oozed silver-blue light.

The Sea Divine Authority contended with the deadly air of the Nether River, forming a layer of frost on the river surface, reflecting his distorted face like countless shattered mirrors.

”Come out!”

The Saintess pulled Shen Fei from the Acheron River, slightly frowning, ”This is only the second time, seems to be indeed a bit dangerous.”

”Continue.”

Shen Fei exhaled, ”My power has increased at least fivefold; soaking in the Nether River is indeed great!”

Beside the Cocytus River.

The scorching crimson river water carried the memories of the dead, flooding into Shen Fei’s mind, as if countless memories were madly surging within.

A low shout from Jasper Pool rang in his ears: ”Don’t indulge! These are all illusions!”

The sound of Jasper Pool’s music reached Shen Fei’s ears as he floated in Cocytus, his vision gradually clearing.

As Shen Fei became clear-headed.

Dark red vascular patterns emerged on his skin, like cracked earth scorched by lava. Each time a memory was shattered, the cracks would heal a bit, and his skin exuded a jade-like hard luster.

”Reborn body...”

The Flegras River is a river of flame, and the boiling lava instantly engulfed Shen Fei, the struggling souls in the flames shrieked and lunged forward, but were blocked by the spell barrier of the Saintess.

And as Shen Fei fell into the Flegras River, his hair turned to ashes, revealing light gold subcutaneous tissue underneath the charred skin, like forged bronze gradually cooling, his bones coated with an obsidian-like glaze, joints sparking with a crackling sound as they moved.

”And special powers...”

As Shen Fei breathed out, a sulfurous scent emanated, a glowing red light flickering deep in his throat.

The surrounding death aura was dispelled by this crimson light.

Lete River.

Also the last of the five rivers, the River of Oblivion.

Appearing as milky white water wrapping Shen Fei gently, the sweet fragrance enticing him to drink deeply, as if memories in his mind were continuously vanishing.

Compared to the resistance from the previous four rivers, Lete River took a soft approach temporarily making Shen Fei unaware of the danger.

”Wake up!”

The Saintess’s snake staff pierced into his shoulder, the pain triggering the rampant power of the Sea Divine Authority.

Silver streaks and gold scales fused in the resistance against oblivion, eventually condensing into a rhombus-shaped divine status at his forehead.

After soaking in the five rivers, all the anomalies seen by Shen Fei after repeatedly soaking in the Nether River vanished completely, seemingly reverted to an ordinary person.

Yet Shen Fei could feel the extreme abundance of power within, granted by Artemis before soaking, his physical strength, speed, defense, and undying body.

And upon soaking in the Nether River again, these aspects have increased almost tenfold.

”Let’s begin the plan.”

Shen Fei exhaled, after releasing Chi You, whether facing confrontation or deploying strategies, everything would be much more easygoing.

”Alright, here is where Chronos dwells, he is at the bottom of Tartarus Hell. I’ll go find the Queen of the Underworld first.” The Saintess casually pointed, a light falling into Shen Fei’s brow.

Inside was an extremely detailed route with Jasper Pool explaining along the way where there is danger, and where Hades might react.

Aphrodite smiled slightly, swaying her hips as she left, though she didn’t say, it’s certain she’s going to see Hades.

Hades is the real warden here.

It’s just that the Queen of the Underworld was sent by Zeus to monitor Hades.

With Zeus’s character, it is impossible to completely trust Hades with the Netherworld where Chronos is sealed.

After all, who knows when his brother might suddenly desire to be the Divine King, primarily because Poseidon is always ambitious, never concealing his ambitions.

But Hades, remains in Silence within the Netherworld, seemingly calm but who knows what his thoughts are.

The Saintess lured away the Queen of the Underworld primarily to prevent her from discovering Aphrodite’s entry into the Netherworld.

One must know, Zeus has always been deeply wary of Aphrodite, especially because of her identity, as soon as she enters the Netherworld, Zeus would keep an eye on her.

Not to mention nearing Hades.

Hades guards the Netherworld, supposedly his sole task is to monitor Chronos.

The rest of the Titans and so-called evildoers are no different from specks of dust in Zeus’s eyes.

If they dare to cause trouble, Zeus would easily drop a Heavenly Thunder to obliterate them.

...

As the Saintess and Aphrodite departed, Shen Fei followed the Saintess’s route towards Tartarus Hell.

The presence left by the Saintess allowed him to proceed without interference from the evil spirits in the Netherworld, further amplified by soaking in the Nether River.

Calypso had already become a subordinate god, with the Saintess directly granting her Witchcraft Divine Authority, the Saintess possessed both Magic and Witchcraft Divine Authorities.

Witchcraft is merely a subordinate of Magic, with Magic representing all special powers outside of divine skills.

Witchcraft only uses the Hermetic Language to invoke heaven and earth powers.

It’s natural not all special powers are invoked through the Hermetic Language; this is just one method.

So now Calypso was grinning foolishly.

It truly depends on following the right person; after so many years, she hadn’t become a divine spirit, yet following Shen Fei she had become one.

It hasn’t been long.

”This should be the true Netherworld.”

Shen Fei looked at the primordial and wild landscape, surrounding clusters of chaotic mass constantly writhing.

Tartarus, spawned by the chaotic void of the Greek World, is the Abyss, the essence of Hell’s Netherworld.

So, it is the destination for gods and human souls, a prison for the most heinous beings, connecting to the ocean and earth through the Nether River.

Shen Fei and the others waited at the edge; the next moment, the mark left by the Saintess glimmered lightly, indicating she had already stalled the Queen of the Underworld.

But the next moment.

The mark left by Aphrodite shone brightly, almost impatiently.

”Weren’t Hades supposedly the most devoted in Greece?” Calypso was speechless because these two marks almost lit simultaneously.

Meaning the Queen of the Underworld had just left.

Hades had already gotten involved with Aphrodite.

This is the most devoted person?

”Let’s go!”

Shen Fei shrugged his shoulders, if Hades weren’t that kind of devoted person, he’d probably be stifled already.

Moreover, Divine Authority that could captivate even the Main God, Hades might be caught up in it for quite a while.

Shen Fei and his group directly entered the true Netherworld, soon seeing a grand Divine Hall standing afar, the Hades Hall.

Shen Fei bypassed the Hades Hall directly.
