Summoners: One Golden Term per Level

Among the gods.

To achieve anything, it’s not just about your own abilities—you need backing, like the many things demigods do today, which seem to rely solely on their own efforts.

But in essence, there are divine spirits supporting them from behind.

Do you want to become a demigod without any background support?

Athena continued: ”Earth Mother has agreed to solidify Charybdis’s form completely, but whether you can slay him depends on you.

You must act quickly; recently, the gods have been focused due to Selene’s affairs, and the divine assembly is approaching.”

”Also, Eros’s matters have been discovered by that nasty bitch, and now she is in Ephesus, so be cautious.”

Athena said, since Shen Fei is backed by Hecate, there is room for negotiation—at least the matter is feasible, as real divine spirits cannot intervene.

Everything depends on the confrontation of the supported individuals.

Charybdis is the one Poseidon supports; Earth Mother only agreed to solidify him, not weaken his strength.

Charybdis couldn’t be attacked in physical form precisely due to Earth Mother’s bloodline, which Poseidon lacks such divine authority.

”Alright.”

”Although he can be attacked, he still possesses the divine authority over floods and whirlpools, which has not changed.” Athena reminded finally, then vanished from Shen Fei’s sight.

She had many matters to handle; this war involving Artemis is merely a glimpse, involving many divine spirits, and Shen Fei is just one of her strategic arrangements.

Still, she wouldn’t devote all her energy to Shen Fei.

”It’s time to set off.”

This time, they didn’t prepare a ship; given the current ocean’s hostility toward Shen Fei, the ship might be destroyed by water walls as soon as it sails.

The four flew away from Aia Island, leaving the Minotaur behind on the island.

Against Charybdis, the Minotaur is useless.

Just after leaving the island, the sea suddenly surged tumultuously, attempting to drag them into the water, where Shen Fei could see.

Dozens of golden-blue shadows rapidly approached, their upper bodies possessing handsome human features, adorned with magnificent bronze armor, holding tridents, while their lower halves had fish-like tails, allowing them to move swiftly in the water.

”Atlantis’s forbidden army?”

Calypso raised an eyebrow; having lived on Aia Island for so long, she was naturally familiar with it but didn’t expect Poseidon to directly deploy the forbidden army.

”Five demigods, while the rest may not be demigods, they have divine presence, it seems Poseidon intends to exhaust you before slaying Charybdis, maybe even severely injure you!” Calypso frowned slightly.

Atlanteans, Poseidon’s followers, identifying as descendants of the Sea God, with strong worship towards the sea.

They appear half-human, half-fish, with hidden gills behind their ears, enabling free underwater breathing, and when they reach the shore, they can grow legs to transform into human form.

Thus, they perfectly adapt to both land and sea environments.

The difference compared to slain sea sirens is that these forbidden soldiers are like a formal army, and led by five demigods.

Demigods with divine authority are the strongest among Atlanteans.

Nevertheless, they can’t surpass Polyphemus.

Polyphemus, after all, is Poseidon’s true offspring; these Atlanteans have a minuscule amount of Sea God’s bloodline, their demigod status granted by Poseidon’s divine authority.

”Previously, it might have been challenging, but now, right before, I have enhanced my strength slightly.”

Shen Fei shook his head; had Poseidon deployed this forbidden guard before the slaying of Polyphemus, it could have affected him.

But now...

Because Shen Fei and others were airborne, the forbidden guard’s harm required controlling seawater to raise them.

Suddenly, dozens of water pillars burst between sea and sky, silver-armored, fish-tailed Atlantean guards surged through the waves.

They simultaneously raised tridents, causing the sea region to explode into an inverted galaxy—tons of seawater, guided by divine authority, condensed into a circular water prison, aiming to imprison the four mid-air.

”In the name of our god!” The leading demigod commander released blue light from the trident’s tip.

In an instant, twelve water spouts rose from the vortex, each dragon head appearing with Poseidon’s shadow, enveloped with mountain-crushing momentum, encircling forward.

Calypso’s Staff touched the ground, purple spells spread like a spider web across the firmament, his left hand grasped ethereally, moonlight transformed into a sickle entwined with black flames, its blade’s ghostly glow distorting space: ”Nether Moon: Eternal Night.”

As the sickle swept, darkness fell, twelve purple moons emerged from its blade, violently clashing with Poseidon’s shadows.

The collision of moonlight and sea tides unleashed a blinding aurora, while the space reverberated with glass-shattering noises.

”Fifth String - Tearing Silk!”

Jade Pool Finger plucked the zither strings, Seven-Stringed Zither unleashed the sound of clashing weapons, sound waves transformed into tangible blades, shredding hundreds of attacking water blades, the melody continued enveloping remaining forbidden soldiers.

The power of [Great Salvation Skill] secretly influenced them, shaking their thoughts.

Meanwhile,

Moon God’s eyes grew with moonlight, his left hand ethereally grasping condensing the moonlight into substantial form for miles around, moonlight transformed into long arrows, flooding towards two demigods.

As the previous power was broken, the demigod couldn’t resist anymore but sensing the strength upon the moonlight arrow, he was unwilling to block.

Allowing the arrow to strike, suddenly a force enveloped them, their stomach twisted painfully, swelling up.

”What is this?!”

Hecate’s shadow suddenly appeared behind Shen Fei, wielding three torches, daggers, and keys, chanting in unison: ”Three Doors Open.”

Hecate’s shadow manipulated the surrounding space, transforming into a nether realm, enveloping the remaining three demigods—surprised, realizing Shen Fei’s witchcraft was astoundingly strong.

Attempting to raise tridents to mobilize the forbidden guard’s strength, which was their trump card, enabling them to vanquish countless profaners of the Sea God.

Only to discover numerous seawater binding them, the source predominantly from their forbidden guard.

Though not demigods, their combined force ensnared the three demigods, preventing immediate escape.

Calypso momentarily stunned, witnessing this Muse possessed such power?

”Perfect, offer them as a sacrifice!”

Shen Fei’s expression remained unchanged, Calypso hastily produced materials, Hermetic Language enveloping forth.

The formed array covered the agonized screeching two fallen demigods washed ashore, the restrained three demigods, and the forbidden army.

Under the array’s power, black energy twirled, first the already powerless two demigod forbidden guards twisted into distorted bodies, their divine essence flowed ceaselessly into Shen Fei.

Then, the remaining three demigods, upon breaking free from the seawater’s grip, were held by arrows.

Until black mist enveloped them, similarly charing into carbon, the rest of the forbidden guard remained, divine essence streamed like a creek into Shen Fei.

”Delightful.”

Shen Fei slightly raised an eyebrow, realizing only rank increased, divine authority didn’t, ”It seems Poseidon granted Atlantis only usage rights.

The weakest demigods only.”
