Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 914: I donʼt believe it

On the roof of one of the buildings in the Capital, after a wave of a snow-white fox tail, a rift opened. Soon, it connected to another rift, and a portal was formed as a result.

Two figures came out of the portal, looking like two drops of water. Both were wearing black Guild uniforms, with hoods and cloth bandages on their faces that hid their features.

Two pairs of eyes with vertical pupils were happily looking at one of the Valkyrie sisters and the fox next to her.

”Nice to see you again, Milena,” said one of the two figures who emerged from the portal.

”Iʼm glad to see you too, Felicia,” Milena replied, carefully studying Felicia, who had changed a lot after, like herself, changing her bloodline.

Unlike Milena, who became a Valkyrie, Felicia had a fox bloodline, and not a simple one, but a spatial one, which gave her the ability to move through the void.

And that was just the beginning.

Milena was somehow sure that in the future Felicia herself would learn how to open portals and teleport when her understanding of the elements of space increased significantly.

Moreover, the element of space made her a perfect spy and assassin.

Her current appearance confirmed that this was exactly what she was doing.

The task Arabel had given them was perfect for her profession.

”Has Arabel told you everything about what you have to do?” Milena asked.

”Yes, briefly and clearly,” Felicia nodded.

”Okay, then letʼs get started.”

With these words, Milena and her fox, using their concealment ability, disappeared from sight.

”Heh,” — Felicia grinned and, opening a rift in the void, stepped inside. Her doppelganger followed her.

The Federation emerged from the ruins of a once great world, becoming a beacon of hope and a pillar of support for all survivors in the first days after the disaster.

No one knew exactly how the Federation was formed, and in those difficult times, few people thought about it. However, over time, she established herself as a single force ruling over the whole world.

The Federation was governed by a mysterious Federation Council, the composition of which few ordinary people knew.

Everyone was only aware of the public face of the Federation, who spoke on its behalf, and that the influential families of the Capital had their seats on the Council. Each of these families was responsible for a specific area of the Federation.

For Irina, who came from the world of Light, the Federation Council was not much different from the structures existing in her world. Instead of powerful families here in her home world, there were factions led by influential and powerful individuals.

At the moment, Irina was sitting in a secluded room of an elite restaurant opposite a statuesque middle-aged woman with a rather attractive appearance. She was accompanied by two men in black suits with black glasses on their faces.

She was not alone on Irinaʼs side.

There were two people standing behind her: a young man named Samuel, a representative of the Orleans family and Irinaʼs lover, as well as a young girl with long black hair named Iona, who was her link to the Kingdom Guild.

The negotiations she had been conducting with the person connected to the Federation Council on behalf of the Kingdom Guild had been at an impasse for some time.

”Letʼs take a short break?” Irina suggested, and the woman across from her agreed.

After leaving the private room, Irina, accompanied by Samuel and Iona, entered a separate room for discussion.

”So, what do you think? Will the Kingdom agree to their demand?” Samuel asked Irina.

”Who knows,” Irina shrugged, looking towards Iona.

She also shrugged her shoulders and said: ”I donʼt know what the Guild is doing.”

”I do not know what happened in the city of Nordist, which changed the positions of the Council so much and they even had to make such demands,” Irina said.

”Speaking of which,” Samuel pulled out his smartphone and dialed a certain number.

As an Association Awakener, he had a special status, hence, the network was not limited to his identity.

Meanwhile, Iona was slightly annoyed.

The Third Disaster was happening, and instead of being on the field with her friends and helping the citizens of the Federation, she was here escorting Diamond-ranked creatures.

Samuel exclaimed in surprise, attracting the attention of Irina and Iona.

After finishing the conversation, he shared with them what he had learned about the events in the city of Nordist. However, the information he provided turned out to be untrue.

When Iona heard Samuelʼs story, his face was distorted with disbelief and discontent.

”I donʼt believe it,” Iona blurted out confidently.

According to Samuel, the culprit of all the events that happened, the massive destruction of the city of Nordist, was the Kingdomʼs Guild.

”Itʼs just the demonization of the Kingdom Guild,” Irina agreed, sharing Ionaʼs distrust.

”Now itʼs clear why, after a short break, the representative of the Council so quickly and abruptly changed her almost-made decision and made such demands,” Irina realized.

”Letʼs wait to see how the Kingdom responds to their proposals,” Irina continued, confident that they would not ignore this.

”I wonder what steps they will take?” thought Irina, looking around as if she was looking for someone, but could not find them.

In one of the luxurious mansions located in an affluent area of the Capital of the Federation, a handsome man was enjoying his morning breakfast. After he finished his meal and played with the maid for a while, he decided to check the latest messages on his smartphone.

While a part of the Federation was suffering from the anomaly, and entire cities were disappearing under its unrelenting force, most of the residents of the Capital, including this man, spent their days in serenity.

On the second floor, in a bedroom, his rather young wife was sleeping, who was in no hurry to get up after a stormy night spent with him.

In the kitchen, another beauty, dressed in a rather revealing maid uniform, was washing dishes, trembling slightly.

It seemed to the man that he was living a better life.

Thanks to the award he received, he not only regained his youth, even though he was already over forty, but he could also do what he liked for much longer than before.

While he was reading the messages with a grin, he did not even suspect that a lone figure appeared in the void next to him, with a predatory smile on his face.

”Thatʼs the first one,” Felicia said when she saw her target.
