Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 905: So, what are you doing here?

After watching both of his partners disappear into the portal, Idan turned his attention to the crowd gathered below.

The evacuation went on as usual, but not as fast as we would like. One portal was not enough to move all the inhabitants of the city in a short time.

They were running out of time by the minute. Idan, even in his Alpha Light form, could sense the Anomaly approaching, and it was getting stronger by the second.

Distracted from his anxious thoughts, he pulled out the {Whisper Talisman} and checked the latest report.

”Has the frequency of attacks by waves of beasts increased?” — Idan noticed a message from Arslan and Nayla.

Like everyone else, he found it strange. In the city of Ironcreek in the North, even though the anomaly was closer, the frequency of attacks by waves of beasts remained unchanged, but here it increased significantly.

”Is it possible?”—and then suspicion seized Idan.

He recalled the time when the city of Rumbus on the northern border was attacked by a wave of beasts.

Idan immediately decided to warn Arslan and Nayla.

MHG: {Arslan, Nayla, be extremely careful! Perhaps the increased frequency of beast attacks is not an accident.}

MHG: {I have every reason to believe that someone is behind this.}

”There are Awakened Ones from the Association in Ironcreek, and creatures from other worlds probably used the connection with them to create a teleportation circle and appear in this city,” Idan began to ponder.

”However, Redclay has already been abandoned by the Federation, and communication with him has been cut off.”

”So even if there are people in this city, they wonʼt be able to contact them.”

”Then the creatures of other worlds have only one option left — to teleport to the nearest city and then get to that city on their own.”

”Enough time has passed since the evacuation began. They should be aware of what is happening in Ironcreek and Redclay,” concluded Idan.

Idan began to doubt whether he had done the right thing by sending Pulsar and the baby dragon to Nordist to Ned. But, remembering that only by being close to each other could the three of them take full advantage of the First Constellation, Idan decided not to call them back.

Closing his eyes, he created a small field of his Soul Power around himself. He understood that, soaring high above the square and shining like a second sun, exuding the element of light, he was too conspicuous and vulnerable to a surprise attack.

In the form of an Alpha of Light, his rank became Platinum after the restrictions of the world were lifted, and now ordinary firearms could not harm him. However, weapons enhanced by mana and the elements could not only cause damage to him, but could also be fatal.

Considering this, Idan decided to play it safe.

Knowing that Redclay was abandoned by the Federation, Idan was a little afraid that creatures from other worlds might use spells of mass destruction or even weapons of mass destruction from his home world.

No matter how the circumstances turn out, the unknown is always frightening and disturbing.

On the outskirts of Ironcreek City, a group of Awakened were almost finishing drawing a mysterious circle with incomprehensible inscriptions.

Besides the leader of the group, there were four other people in it, all of them wearing the gray cloaks of the Awakened Association, on the chest of which the emblem of this organization was emblazoned.

Felicia, hiding in the void, quietly watched what was happening, eavesdropping on the conversation between the Awakened. Ready to act at any moment.

As the leader of the group was finishing the finishing touches, a powerful Soul Force pressure descended upon them, causing all the Awakened Ones to fall to their knees.

The appearance of this pressure deprived Felicia of all possible reasons to leave the void.

She was the first to see Arabelʼs avatar appear in the form of a Dark Valkyrie.

The combination of Platinum Rank and First Constellation gave Arabelʼs Soul Force incredible power. She easily suppressed the Awakened Ones without even giving her full strength.

Watching this, Feliciaʼs eyes lit up with a slight envy and a desire to quickly find and conclude her third contract in order to form her First Trinity.

Like all Guild leaders, Feliciaʼs first contract was a Perfect Doppelganger. She signed a second contract with one of the Snow Foxes, which, in addition to the element of ice, acquired an affinity with the element of darkness due to the phenomenon of the Sierra.

Felicia believed that for her own affinity for the element of Space, these two elements— the elements of Ice and Darkness—would become ideal for combining in the future.

In the form of a Dark Valkyrie, with long dark hair and black eyes, as well as four black wings, Arabel looked completely different from her true self.

The terrified awakened ones did not immediately recognize Arabel in her, but when they saw the uniform of the Kingdom Guild on her, their fear only increased.

”So, what are you doing here?” she asked them, and her gaze fell on the circle drawn on the floor.

”Itʼs definitely a teleportation circle,” Arabel confirmed, but she didnʼt say it out loud.

She turned her gaze back to the leader of the group, waiting for his answer.

”We... we were following orders from the leadership,” he confessed, realizing that they had no other choice but to respond.

”And what is that order?” asked Arabel.

”We were creating a teleportation circle to teleport out of this city,” the leader replied, and Arabel laughed at his words.

”Heh. To teleport out of here? And not to summon someone or something?” asked Arabel mockingly.

Based on the signs described by Felicia, Milena confirmed that the circle drawn by the awakened was used for receiving, not for sending teleportation.

The Awakened leader was confused.

”No, we created the teleportation circle solely for our departure,” he continued to insist.

Arabel, of course, did not believe his words.

”Heʼs telling the truth,” she suddenly heard Feliciaʼs voice in her head. ”They themselves were surprised by the order and a little doubtful, but still decided that they were creating a teleportation circle for their departure, and not to summon someone.”

”Hmm,” — Arabel chuckled.

Her hair began to move and enveloped all the Awakened Ones, preventing them from escaping. She then cast a spell and destroyed the teleportation circle.

Due to the connection with her real body, Arabelʼs avatar was extremely careful.

There was no reason to take risks and check who or what was going to come to this city.
