Chapter 875 - 876: Guys, weʼre changing plans

After removing the ”Third Seal”, Idan gained the opportunity to make full use of his Alpha bloodline.

Even without passing the ascension test, his rank rose to platinum at the moment of transformation, making him one of the strongest beings in the world.

Itʼs only been about a day, and few of the Awakened have still been able to pass their ascension test.

His sister, Irene, and the rest of the Guild hadnʼt started their ascension trial yet, although they were already actively discussing it using {Whisper Talismans}.

Idan himself stayed up most of the night, watching Auroraʼs defenses and ready to help at any moment.

It was only towards morning, when the situation became clearer, that he decided to leave the city and headed in the direction where he felt a strong concentration of the lightning element.

Next to him in the void was Snow, one of the Spatial Snow Foxes.

Not wanting to reveal the existence of these charming and very rare creatures, Idan and Arabel decided to hide them in the void and not release them unless absolutely necessary.

While Snow was with Idan, Whitey followed Arabelʼs avatar to the North.

By morning, Idan had received more detailed information about the situation from Leo. Leo reported four anomalies that appeared in the places where the beasts were moving, attracted by an unknown force.

”Is there a fire source in the south?” wondered Idan, reading Leoʼs messages.

Being far to the east, he did not feel any attraction from the south, except for the attraction of the lightning element, towards which he was moving. It was strange, because the element of fire was his main element, and his understanding and sensitivity to it were higher than others.

However, after reading that the anomalies were expanding and intensifying by the second, Idan understood the reason.

”Itʼs just that the influence of the source from the south cannot yet cover the entire continent and is limited to a certain area,” Idan realized.

At the same time, it dawned on him that perhaps not all the beasts from the continent were affected by the anomalies. As they increase, this influence will grow, which means that the waves of beasts will not stop moving and will pose a constant threat to the cities.

---------------------------

MHG: {Leo, how close are the nearest cities to these anomalies?}

---------------------------

Idan sent a message in the third chat using his {Whisper Talisman}.

---------------------------

Leo: {Unfortunately, there is not enough information about the anomalies yet, and we are currently trying to calculate the rate of their spread}.

Leo: {As for the cities, judging by the map, there are several of them that are located quite close to the anomalies}.

Queen Irene: {Does this mean that if the anomalies continue to grow, these cities may be swallowed up?}

Leo: {Yes, thatʼs a high probability}.

MHG: {Guys, weʼre changing plans}.

---------------------------

Idan immediately made a decision.

---------------------------

MHG: {Everyone, send your current locations to Leo}

MHG: {Leo, find out which cities are closest to the anomalies and which group is closest to or already there}

MHG: {The beasts that attack the cities are heading towards the anomalies, so they donʼt pose much of a threat right now. Leave the protection of the cities to the local military and the Awakened and head to the cities that Leo points out}

MHG: {Also find out which large city, capable of hosting a large number of refugees, is far from the anomalies, and which group is closest to this city}

Queen Irene: {Does this mean that we are going to undertake the evacuation of these cities?}

MHG: {Yes, thatʼs right}

MHG: {Due to my affinity with the Lightning element, being in the east, I can confidently say that the power of the anomalies is growing rapidly}.

MHG: {I suggest not waiting until the last moment and already start evacuating the nearest cities, starting with the closest one}.

---------------------------

Idan was sure that they underestimated the seriousness of the situation, and that it would only get worse. His intuition told him not to delay, and he decided to act. As one of the two leaders of his guild, he made a decision and gave the appropriate order.

---------------------------

Queen Irene: {I fully support your decision, brother!}

Protection King: {I agree with this decision}.

Fox Empress: {I support!}

---------------------------

Gradually, the other group leaders supported Idanʼs decision to evacuate the nearest cities located near the anomaly.

Everyone realized that the evacuation process at such a difficult time, when roads were almost completely destroyed and the number of planes was limited, would be a difficult task.

”Snow,” — Idan called, and a Spatial Snow fox appeared from the void. Her eyes were shining and her tail was wagging happily, glad that she had finally been given the opportunity to come out of the void.

She ran up to Idan and began circling around him, demanding affection and attention. Idan couldnʼt deny her this by scratching her soft and fluffy silver fur.

”Snow, the situation has changed,” Idan addressed the fox. ”We will need your and Whiteyʼs strength to help a lot of people escape.”

”Woo-woo-woo,— Snow whined happily, making it clear that she was ready for any challenge.

”Snow, itʼs not going to be easy,” Idan added. ”Weʼre going to have to help a lot of people get through the portals, and it might be too much of a burden for you and Whitey.”

Idan wanted Snow to realize what she was agreeing to.

But Snowʼs behavior remained unchanged.

Her vertical pupils burned with a firm determination to help Idan. She wanted to repay the debt for her salvation and for the opportunity to gain such power.

Idan didnʼt say anything else, but Snowʼs fluffy fur fluttered more violently, causing the fox to laugh and rejoice at this moment.

”Idan is right,” Lucinda said after hearing from Arabel about the Guildʼs decision to change the plan and evacuate the cities.

”I also support Danʼs decision,” Arabel nodded, reconnecting with her avatar and feeling the anomaly in the north getting stronger by the minute.

”Queen,” Leo suddenly called out, who was supposed to be busy gathering information about the cities and locations of the guild members.

”I received a message from the Eye of the Web that the same Darkia wants to talk to you,” he said.

”Darkia wants to talk to me?” Arabel raised her eyebrows in surprise.

”Yes,” Leo nodded.

”Connect us,” Arabel did not refuse and decided to find out why Darkia wanted to talk to her. Besides, she had her own questions about what she knew about these anomalies.
