Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 869 - 870: The world itself seemed to breathe.

”Natural disasters, huh?” Idan read in surprise the message Arabel had written in the third chat to let everyone know.

The other participants started asking questions one by one, and Leo was already on hand, reporting the latest news and strange animal manifestations.

”Forewarned means armed,” Idan muttered, realizing that now, expecting something like this, they would not be caught off guard.

At that moment, Idan was near the city of Aurora, surveying the coastal waters from a birdʼs-eye view.

Unlike in the old world, the current waters were dangerous, and few cities were located near the seashore.

Aurora was originally a coastal city, but due to the fear of waves of sea creatures attacking, the development of the city was directed inland. The part of the city located closer to the shore had been abandoned, and now there were destroyed and abandoned houses and structures.

Aurora, being the eastern border city, had more reliable protection than Rumbus, located in the north.

Idan, as the Guildʼs leader and an important strategic figure, decided to stay in Aurora, while the rest of the Guild members went scouting in the nearest cities to assess their Disaster preparedness.

”According to the preliminary data, the major cities have received support from the Federation and the Awakened, while the smaller cities were less fortunate — they were given too few people to protect,” the Guild members reported one after another.

Small villages ceased to exist.

The previous Disaster had shown that such villages could not provide security, and the Federation did not have the strength to protect them. Therefore, all those who survived the second Disaster, during which the remaining villages still existed, moved to the nearest cities.

Most of the Federationʼs population was already concentrated in the central part of the continent. However, no matter how hard the Federation tried, it couldnʼt move all the residents to the center.

To maintain such a large number of citizens, resources were needed that were located only in certain areas far from the center. Therefore, there have been small towns scattered all over the continent until now.

Some residents did not want to leave their homes, while others, despite their desire, could not find enough money to move.

Communication between cities was no longer as free and secure as it used to be. Now only airplanes and, less often, ground vehicles cruised between them. In a short time, the roads were not fully restored, and with the advent of evolved animals, the danger increased many times.

Those who did not have time to move had no choice but to stay in the same place.

MHG: {Hey guys. Listen, we canʼt divide our groups into smaller ones.}

MHG: {You have to understand that no matter how much we want, we wonʼt be enough to protect all the cities. Also, do not forget that in addition to Disasters and Beasts, there are other dangers that lurk in the shadows.}

MHG: {As the Guild Leader, I order you not to split your units into more than two or three groups and try to stick together}.

MHG: {Belle and Leo will coordinate our actions and let us know where our help is needed the most. But you can also suggest your own options}.

After thinking about it, Idan wrote in the chat using his old nickname MHG (Most Handsome Guy), which he created to communicate with Arabel.

Arabel herself changed her nickname from MBG (Most Beautiful Girl) to MBQ (Most Beautiful Queen).

The Fox Empress was the first to respond to the message.

Fox Empress: {I fully support this}.

Dragon Empress: {I also support the King}.

Fox Queen: {I agree too}.

All three of the first to express their opinions were previously members of the Red Fox Guild. To be more precise, Felicia was hiding behind the name of the Fox Empress, Hailey was hiding behind the Dragon Empress, and the Fox Queen, Yara, was one of Feliciaʼs close subordinates and chose such a nickname for herself.

The others were slow to respond.

They all realized that Idan was right.

Divided into small groups, they lost their strength and could not act effectively. But they were leaders, and not only their own lives depended on their decisions, but also the lives of those they commanded.

Queen Irene: {Okay, brother, I obey your order and promise that I wonʼt put my people in danger}.

Protection King: {I agree too}.

Queen Ireneʼs Follower: {I will follow Queen Ireneʼs example}.

MBQ: {Sisters, listen to Danʼs order! His words are my words too!}

Water Empress: {Yes, yes}.

Flower Empress: {I am also willing to follow this order}.

Sand Empress: {And me too!}.

Twilight Empress: {I will try to gather information about hidden threats and will inform you as I receive}.

Leo: {I am ready to serve, King}.

Idan, pleased with their response, curiously watched the nicknames chosen by the others.

As he had expected, Arslan was hiding behind the nickname ” Protection King”. Queen Ireneʼs Follower turned out to be Nayla.

Water Empress is Esma, who used to have a different nickname, but when she noticed that her sisters chose nicknames with the prefix ”empress”, she quickly changed it.

Flower Empress is Yulaya.

Sand Empress is Hazel.

Twilight Empress, Idan learned, is Milena. And the last one was Leo, who didnʼt mess around and just wrote his name.

The entire Central Continent was anxiously awaiting the onset of the Disaster.

By this time, all flights had been banned, and ground transportation was limited to a minimum.

On the fourth day after the Kingdom Guild started operating, a deafening rumble swept across the world, which everyone heard.

The world itself seemed to breathe.

Many mortals, like those who experienced the ”Blackout Day”, lost consciousness. The awakened ones felt a mental attack and a strong pressure that forced them to kneel down, holding their heads.

This phenomenon lasted only a minute, after which it subsided, and the world was plunged into silence.

All the Awakened Ones, the creatures from other worlds, and the beasts that were able to stand on their feet realized that this was just the calm before the storm.

And the most terrible thing is that this unexpected rumble has already led to huge destruction and casualties among the inhabitants of the Federation, who were not prepared for such a turn of events.
