Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 870 - 871: Did you feel it too?

[Ding! The ”Third seal” has been lifted. The Ascension Trial is available.]

One more minute after the hum ended, all the Awakened Ones received notifications from their Systems.

Now, those who had reached level 30 could initiate the Ascension trial and try to reach the Platinum Rank.

[Ding! Due to your partnerʼs pregnancy and the danger that the ascension trial could pose to the fetus, this System sealed it before the baby was born.]

Idan, without saying a word, carefully looked at the second message that appeared immediately after the first one. He was already prepared for such a development, so he wasnʼt too surprised.

Looking up from the message, he picked up the {Whisper Talisman} in his hands and opened the two chats he had access to.

”This has affected everyone, even those inside the Kingdom,” — Idan thought worriedly as he scanned the messages.

”Phew... Belle seems to be fine,” Idan smiled, and his thoughts of immediately opening the portal and returning to check on her dissipated.

Lucinda and the others are with her, so sheʼs safe, he reassured himself.

In the third chat, other leaders reported something similar.

Idan came to the conclusion that, as on the ” Blackout Day”, the whole world was gripped by this hum. Along with this, he had a suspicion, which he decided to share with everyone.

-------------------------

MHG: {Belle and the guys. Keep a close eye on and observe ordinary people. I have a suspicion that with the removal of the ”Third Seal”, the restrictions of the world on the cultivation of ordinary mortals have also been lifted, and, consequently, people will begin to awaken without the help of the Systems.}

-------------------------

The text that Idan typed caused general surprise and even shock.

No one refuted his words, but, on the contrary, supported them.

-------------------------

MHG: {Now letʼs deal with the consequences of this phenomenon and be vigilant, this is probably just the beginning}.

-------------------------

Everyone took his words seriously and began helping to eliminate the damage and consequences that this momentary hum brought.

No one expected such a moment, not to mention that something like ”Shutdown Day” could happen, which, of course, led to a lot of accidents.

Many drivers and their passengers were involved in accidents, despite the fact that the Federation imposed restrictions. There were many incidents.

The earlier flight ban, although it reduced the number of victims of plane crashes, could not completely avoid them.

Anyway, there were brave people, as well as those in power who were not affected by this ban, and in the end they were unlucky.

While waiting for further events, Idan and all the Guild members decided to help the military and other Awakened Ones in rescuing people and eliminating the consequences in those cities where they found themselves.

The appearance of the unknown Awakened Ones initially caused surprise and bewilderment among the military and representatives of other Guilds.

However, seeing that they were providing assistance, their wariness gradually weakened.

Thanks to joint efforts, many people were saved and fires and collapses in the cities were eliminated.

Over time, it became clear that these people were members of the infamous Kingdom Guild.

Thanks to the efforts of the Federation and, of course, the Awakened Association, the Guild did not have the best reputation. Moreover, Idan and the others did not try to justify themselves or refute the false accusations against them.

In the late afternoon of the same day, the first disturbing news came.

One of the cities in the western Federation was attacked by a huge wave of Beasts. The city barely withstood the onslaught, but it was not without losses. Many of the military and a few Awakened Ones sent to defend this city fell in battle.

This was a signal to all defenders of cities and humanity.: be prepared for the fact that something similar may happen in other places.

”Is it really another wave of beasts?” Idan wondered after reading these messages, and it seemed a little strange to him.

Soon, Idan, flying over the city in the form of an Alpha of Fire with burning wings on his back, suddenly stopped and fixed his gaze into the distance, beyond the city of Aurora.

”The Lightning element?” flashed through his mind. Due to his affinity for this element, he clearly sensed the growing concentration of lightning in the distance, which immediately caused him to worry.

Without wasting any time, he shared his discovery with everyone using the {Whisper Talisman}.

-------------------------

MBQ: {Did you feel it too?}

-------------------------

Arabel answered him.

-------------------------

MBQ: {My avatar also felt the increasing concentration of the ice element in the North}.

-------------------------

”The elements of Ice in the North?” wondered Idan, raising his eyebrows.

While he was trying to make sense of this information, Arabel wrote another disturbing piece of news.

-------------------------

MBQ: {Two more cities were attacked by waves of beasts, but this time in the south}.

MBQ: {In addition, there is information from various sources that large concentrations of beasts are actively migrating in an unknown direction. They avoid cities without attacking them, which is certainly puzzling.}

After midnight, a young man in the uniform of the Kingdom Guild stood on the walls of one of the few cities between Nordist and Aurora. He frowned into the distance, where a huge wave of beasts flowed like a river.

Then his gaze fell on the huge number of fresh carcasses by the wall. The pungent smell of fresh blood hung in the air.

The rest of the Kingdom Guild members stood behind him, also looking at this wave of beasts with concern. Their clothes were soaked in blood, indicating a recent battle.

A little to the side of them were the military and several Awakened Ones, who were also looking in the same direction.

”Arslan,” said one of the Guild members who was following Arslan from the Defenders Guild. ”What do you think it all means?”

They had just fought off a rather large wave of beasts, avoiding casualties until they saw this horrific scene.

How is another huge wave of beasts, seemingly oblivious to them, heading in a certain direction?

”I do not know,” — Arslan replied, and taking out the {Whisper Talisman}, he shared his observations about what he had just encountered.

In the Kingdom, Leo, Arabel, and Lucinda were frowning at the map of the Federation. On this map, Leo marked all the locations of the attacks on the cities and the trajectories of the waves of beasts.

”There are no mistakes,” — Arabel said, studying the map carefully.

”All these waves of beasts are heading to several specific points on the continent.”

”And most importantly, if we compare these data with the approximate locations of the lightning element in the east and the ice element in the north, they correspond exactly to the directions where the waves of beasts are moving,” Arabel concluded.

”The sources of the elements,” — Lucinda said, gathering all the information together. ”It looks like there are colossal sources of elements in these places that attract all these beasts.”
